Nevermind, I have seen Awaken somewhat, watched 11 of 16 episodes on Netflix, I vaguely remember what it is about. I really want to watch King of Pigs but not on a streaming service I know of over here in the UK, I could use Asian Torrents to get it.

Checking out the Thriller article, I never saw either Penthouse or The World of the Married. I imagine they both have elements of makjang and family/ chaebol politics in them.

Yup, having a look at your reviews and articles. Yes "Doom at your service" was god awful, haven't gone back to it to finish, probably never will.

I've not seen Awaken or The Lie Within. The Lie Within, I've known about it for a while actually but didn't watch it because the MDL rating kind of put me off (it used to be lower than 7.9 I think).

I think I will check out Awaken, just saw 2 of the MDL reviews, I've got high hopes.

Have you seen Grid? I only watched first 2 episodes of it, I'm curious.

There is a serious lack of these genres getting a K-Drama shows these days, Revenant was excellent btw. OCN used to be the channel with the more interesting K-Dramas but a string of flops over the course of several years kinda killed them off. They haven't released anything drama-wise since 2022.

Hoping Signal Season 2 comes out sooner rather than later, the wait has been long.

I've seen both seasons of Good Detective. I haven't seen a Cdrama in like forever, the last time I watched one was when the site Screen6 (I think that's what it was called) was still up. I was watching "Copycat Killer", which is a Taiwanese drama on Netflix, watched up to ep 6.

I'm not too big on Cdramas unfortunately but I do like J-Dramas as well though.

So will this finish the story as the manga was axed and never actually finished properly??

I may have a subtle hint of K-Drama burn out recently as I'm struggling to find one to watch. Caught up with Queen of Tears, which is fortunately refreshing to watch. I have one episode of Doctor Slump left and I just can't be asked to watch it, as the show was decent during the start but the second half has been dragged out without much meat on the bones. Wedding Impossible was fun but weird as well, still need to watch the last 3 episodes but another case of CBA.

I really liked Flex X Cops, just want to find either a good drama in any of these genres:- Horror, Thriller, Mystery, Crime, Generally Dark. However, I can't seem to find anything that I haven't watched already.

Yea, she was protecting her husband when he wasn't around and he sent condelence money to her staff in her name, so that her staff won't hate her as much. They love each other but not great st expressing that to each other.

Also, you are assuming she was always like this which could be true but it's an assumption. They dated for less than a year before getting married and whilst they were dating she never revealed that she was rich to him, he had thought she was poor person who struggled to hold a job.

Your sentiment is like he's 100% in the wrong, when in reality both of them hurt each other.

I'm on episode 06 and their apparently eluding that Soo-Cheol is not the father of Cheon Da Hye's son. I get that Cheon Da Hye is one of the villains of the show thus far in the story but it kinda grosses me out when someone does that as they essentially dig 2 graves by doing that, one for her husband and the other for her son's father because when the truth comes to light, 2 roles would become vacated.

I hope it's not the case, it'd be awful for the poor guy, who's already being played hard.

I understand but he has justifiable reasons why he wanted to go with a divorce with her. Her family weren't the best but I think the real issue was the wife. After the miscarriage, she practically gave him the cold shoulder and was acting tough as if losing their baby didn't mean anything and that's how the husband saw it when she was getting rid of the nursery fairly quickly and not caring that he decided to sleep separately from her.

The ML should have tried harder imo but I think the suffocating environment didn't help as he literally couldn't speak to anyone there. I don't why the FL didn't show her true feeling to her husband at the time but I guess she wanted to process her grief in a different way by becoming even more of a workaholic and distracting herself from her depressive thoughts as she unfortunately believes that she is at fault for her miscarriage.

If they just had spoke and be honest with each other, I don't think they would have grown apart so much.

Beastars is great, definitely worth the time.

Yea, I was aware about the Odd Taxi movie just being a recap with the last 10 minutes being a continuation of the anime TV series ending which was abruptly cut off so you don't know what happened to our taxi driver.

The character he's playing is the original main lead of the Parasyte manga and anime, Shiinichi Izumi and his right hand was focused on because that's where Miigi (the parasite) is located, they co-exist very much like Su-In and Heidi in this show.

The reason I say it is a sequel is because Shiinichi appears at the last scene as an investigative journalist that has a deep knowledge on the parasites, he is no longer the high schooler as he was in the manga and anime.

Which might indicate that the parasites that came to South Korea and possibly the rest of the world this time might have been the second batch and the first batch was sent years ago to Earth and arrived in Japan. So it's kinda funny how the female cop said South Korea were the fastest to set up a task force to deal with the parasites when in the truth, they're a few years late.

If this is a sequel, it would be awesome to finally understand who, what, why and how the parasites were created and many other questions that were never originally answered besides eluding to a possible answer.
