So I originally pledged against watching this but then I came across a spoiler and people were enjoying it, so I gave it a shot last night and watched the rest of it today. It was very enjoyable and I came to like both the main leads, the series definitely borrows a few of the major themes from the original manga but at the same time it was very different.
Then the final scene of the show happened, which made be believe that this show is actually a sequel to the Parasyte manga (I kinda hope it is actually) with a tinge of deja vu. I'll elaborate in a spoiler comment as a reply to this one.
Overall, this was done really well and I would love to see a 2nd season. I'm giving this a solid 9 out of 10.
he got the idea around 2009, so i don't think so haha
I think he's talking about the Squid Game creator getting an idea from this series. I think the creator of Squid Game definitely got influences from series like this, Kaiji, Liar Game, etc.
Indeed it was, I need to watch the animated movie because it apparently elaborates on what happens at the end of the anime TV series. I remember watching Odd Taxi and binge watching Beastars at roughly the same time.
I kinda pledged against watching this because it looked like they were just making it to just milk the franchise rather than love for it.
However, from my understanding it is being well liked to a certain degree. Unfortunately, a little spoilers here and there below which might indicate that we might get a live-action of the real protagonist in the future possibly.
I noticed that the first episode came out, just a bit surprised that it's a spin-off to Odd Taxi and that it's not anthropomorphic like the manga and anime but just a regular live-action.
What are your hopes for season 2?-Mine are romance with FL that was teased but didn't happen. Her family's also…
Did you watch "Silver Spoon" (the OG series)? I assume so because you went in detail somewhat, it kinda looks like Flex x Cop sort of solved the big looming case of the murder of his parents all in this one season.
Perhaps in season 2 we will come across a Chaebol serial killer/villain like in Vincenzo.
So she started off a musical theatre actress and has started working on dramas recently and I do suspect she will get a big break soon and get a main FL role in the near future. I hope she will be able to do Flex x Cop season 2, of which I hope is soon.
So I finally got around to watching the final 2 episodes and remembered how good of a show this was. It's a bit of a shame that some questionable things were said when concerning about a 2nd season for this show from some of the cast which made it seem like that there was no more.
We need a second season to finish the story up for us.
Overall, a very enthralling watch with cool characters as well, I'm giving it a 9.5 out of 10.

She's very popular because she is attractive.
Odd Taxi by the way was a brilliant anime.
