This drama is just different characters standing at different locations and talking non stop. There is nothing…
This show was known as for having the most mixed reception back in 2021, there was a lot of hype for this one and I really wanted to watch it. It finally came to Netflix UK and I would have watched it sooner if I could figure out how to get Viki working on my TV.
I've watched 6 or so 7 episodes so far, it's very meh and low-key boring, the past few episodes have been "I'm going to love you", "Love me then", etc......it just seems awful. I'm more interested in the secondary couple at this point.
However, there are people who absolutely adore this show and have watched it multiple times, the series has clearly touched them in some way that makes them come back.
It was a very enjoyable binge and I honestly thought this came out this year but it actually came last year and was available on certain regions on Disney Plus.
I genuinely don't understand the release schedule for Disney Plus UK, I genuinely feel like there isn't enough on the service, it's so empty when compared to Netflix UK.
I rated a 9/10, I'm always a fan of haters/enemies to lovers stories.
The illogical BS was annoying beyond reason, writer went nuts with AI concept. I gave it a 6.5 because I skipped…
I saw my notification and thought I hadn't finished it, thank god I did. Unfortunately for me, I watched the entire thing without skipping, I've never skipped through a drama before, which in turn makes it difficult for me to consider skipping through it even though it was kind of torturous.
Thankfully, I've watched some pretty decent shows since then to forget about this one.
Why does your opinion matter but nobody elses? His mum wasnt just harsh but she was literally abusive, she should…
Everyone is entitled to their opinion, that is how the world works.
If the story and characters were rubbish, why did you bother finishing it and even more so why bother to comment about it over here. You rated it 4/10, fair enough but you are saying I rated it highly because I like "toxic selfish characters", that just seems like you trying to take a dig at me.
Basically, what I'm saying is that you are being very immature.
Are people hating this show? It's has an 8.9 rating (9.05 completed), which suggests that most people absolutely…
What point are they (actually you) are making?
Right now, the way you are structuring your sentences and the general tone, it seems like you are the same person.
Did your "Flux" account get banned temporarily or permanently?
This is sad.
Calling me abusive when suggesting just because my parents were Asian immigrants that I will treat the children the same way. Felt kind of racist and I called it out and cursed him (you) because it pissed me off.
You need to check yourself, you really shouldn't making dummy accounts on MDL to pretend to be someone else and support yourself in arguments/disagreements. It is not worth your time or energy.

I finished the show over the course of the week before the finale and watched the last 2 episodes on the respective days it came out. However, when I randomly came last night to update my MDL profile and went to this show's page and then just saw all the comments, I was like "what is going on", how are people not able to see the magic of this show.
Most of them just were upset about the mother's treatment to the son and the mother is aware of that but still pushed on to make her son stronger for society. I myself am from an Asian household and my childhood was very similar in the sense I was studying 24/7 and my punishments were way worse than what was depicted in the show (I swear to god I was beaten for either no reason or some of the lousiest reasons and yes I have been beaten for not acing an exam before too).
If you haven't seen this and are worried about the comments, don't be. This is a fantastic show, people are upset about his mother was harsh to him when disciplining him but this commonplace in an Asian household (all types Far East, South East, etc). They're strict as hell, if your parent isn't strict, usually because they either young or don't care about what others say.
I only rate dramas after I finished watching them as well but I can already tell this is one of the best K-dramas of the year.

I'm going to try and finish this.

I'm genuinely at a loss of words, you are attacking a stranger online over a difference of opinion about a fictional drama.
What world do you live in?

I gave it a 9.5/10, it's a great show.
