I'm on episode 02 and freaking confused. How has he suddenly cozyied up to her all of a sudden?? It just seems so out of place. Nevermind, it's a dream lol.
i watched the first episodes but i really REALLY don't get the hype? Kim Hye Soo's acting and voice is annoying…
Carry on watching but I'm honestly surprised that you didn't get the hype. The hype from the first episode is almost the same level Boku dake ga Inai Machi is but Signal does have a slightly slow start but it picks up pretty quickly.
I'm almost done with episode 18, I've come to love Reply 1988 and the 94 cameo, reminded me that Reply 1994 was my favourite one.
Right now, I'm really anxious about who the husband is, I thought I knew who it would be but this episode threw a curve-ball. I'm trying to prevent myself from reading any spoilers right now.
I'm not a huge fan of how the actress in the present time in 2015 and the one in 1988 are different, I understand that it kind of had to be but they could have just put make-up on the main female lead to make her look much older in the present time. Ah it's slightly bothering because I enjoyed that aspect in both Reply 1997 and 1994.
I'm just finishing episode 02, so I could be wrong and that the actress playing the older version is just an actress and not the main female lead in 2015 because at the moment it seems to be like a 1 on 1 interview rather than the gatherings like in the other Reply series.
Okay I quite like this show but episode 15, when he comes back, like I know they aren't dead (it's too early) beforehand. My problem is that it took him a year to contact Mo Yeon, was he in a coma? does the same apply Seo Dae Yeong?
I know it's not even a problem but I do hope it's resolved and explained swiftly in the next episode. The chemistry has been great, it's been funny, it's been tense but at times I do feel that the show was a little hollow at times and nothing is really going to change that.
I'm also still a little confused as to it's enormous popularity? is it the patriotism? is it because it's Joong Ki's return drama or him being back on the screen after his civil service?
I think the show was pretty solid for most parts, the earthquake event improved the drama quite a bit when it started to feel a little flat.
Regardless, I'm eager to watch the finale when it comes out.
I just finished it and I essentially watched in 1 sitting because I started Monday night, slept, watched up to ep17 on Tuesday, slept and watched the finale on Wednesday morning (today).
I really loved it and I can see why it's rated so highly at MDL. I wasn't sure completely before watching it as it was labelled as a noona romance, I do like the genre in manga, anime and I think I've seen a few dramas depicting one such as I Remember You aka Hello Monster where the noona-ish romance, I don't know if it was made clear that the female detective was older than the main lead, she certainly is in real life much like in I Hear Your Voice but the pairing in "I Remember You" didn't seem to have that great chemistry compared to IHYV. Another thing why I thought was because the female lead in I Remember You wasn't as attractive as Lee Bo Young was in IHYV. However, the story for I Remember You and the other characters were brilliant.
I really liked this show and that's why I gave it a 10/10 without hesitation.
