not a bad drama, but not a good as other dramas with similar themes like Signal. So I gave up on it.
Yeah, that is the sad truth.

The way Mo Tae Gu is killed at the mental hospital, how much of that is a dream or is that what actually happened?

Because the female MC says he got killed by a fellow patient at the same hospital but the way his death happened particularly how they focused on his doctor/consultant at the mental hospital....I felt that doctor was a villain himself and possibly a villain from another TV drama.

Just a little confused or just kinda shocked in how the show just killed his character off in the end...it was weird.

I just finished it and the show sorta ended rushed imo. It was a decent K-drama. I do have one query, which I'm going to put up as a spoiler.

Is it worth watching? Btw .. i like dramas when theres crime in it
It's a decent drama. I do occasionally notice a few things being kinda stupid like when the main female lead is like "they're at the back end of the archives" and then the male lead gets there and it's just a very small archive room. As well as the product-promotion in it is quite silly like Subway and Samsung (oh it's waterproof).

I do like the villain, the main characters are good. It's a decent crime drama but it's sub-par compared to a show like Signal.

So, who is the father of Hwa Yeon's son? Is it not her former lover but I thought he was an eunuch when she gave birth.

"Many of you might disagree, but for me, it's the best drama of 2016 so far. Not Descendants of the Sun, not Doctors, not W." None of the ones you mentioned are even worthy of being called the best drama of 2016...none of them. You need to watch Signal and re-evaluate.

Okay guys I can't take it anymore. Hae Soo is so stupid. I get it that she's scared but she's making things worse…
Yup but at the same time, I believe the character would act that way. She's been feeling in control even though she was brought back into a different time period but seeing the foreshadows has freaked her out. She's doing stupid things and unknowingly setting the motions for history to repeat itself because she is not being calm about the foreshadows that she's seeing. I'm very surprised that Wang So kills the 10th Prince though in the foreshadows. I wonder in this version of Scarlet Heart, she's able to change the outcomes slightly.

I don't know if anyone feels the same but that forced kiss scene made me feel so uncomfortable. I know I've been…
The kiss was definitely forced, I didn't feel uncomfortable but I understood from his perspective. She herself literally changed when she started seeing the "foreshadows", which has frightened her greatly. He kissed her to tell in his own way is that she is his everything (not just his person but for him she is his saviour and of course love). I believed he kissed her for that but to also show that she shouldn't be afraid of him. Obviously his actions won't really affect her too much as she is just shocked and confused about everything.

Not sure why you are comparing Moonlight with this, I think the reason you brought it up is that this is how a "lead's first kiss" should be. I haven't seen Moonlight but I'm aware it's based on a real person and if the series follows history, then I'm a little confused as from what I understand is that show is a feel good and is pretty much a happy pill of a show.

I started watching it from episode 03. I know the story and how it ends in the chinese version of which this series is adapted from but obviously changing it from a Chinese to a Korean setting. However, the story seems to be unfolding in the same way.

This show is fantastic and is probably the next best thing after Signal I've seen in terms of K-Drama.

Glad to know I wasn't the only one disappointed by the ending. I didn't have any expectations or anything but…
I've completely forgot about W, by binge-watching Re:Zero. That was a fantastic anime, hopefully season 2 will be greenlit and it happens in a year or so.

Sorry off-topic, Teleri is really into W hence why he/she posted so much on it. It was a good ride but had it's ups and downs. Unlike Re:Zero which was magnificent, watch it if you haven't already.

P.S. It's kinda annoying that the notifications doesn't directly take you to the comments instead you have check through the comment section to find your original reply.

Glad to know I wasn't the only one disappointed by the ending. I didn't have any expectations or anything but…
It's a disappointing ending because one I wasn't satisfied with it and second too many questions left unanswered. There didn't seem to be any real reason why Yeon Joo's dad started to disappear, it seemed like he deliberately willed himself to die and cease to exist, so that all the "villains" of W are dead. It's a happy ending for sure and I'm glad it's ended.

I'm okay with this but it's not as invigorating or amazing as Signal was (I'm bringing it up Signal because how high W is ranked on this site, which it really shouldn't be) especially how Signal ended. No one left that finale not wanting more.

i don't understand how could Kang Chul dissappear (in ep 12/13, in elevator when he realized that he might accidentally…
He declared that ability pretty profoundly during an earlier episode. You definitely missed something.

I'm in for Seo In Guk.
Enjoy Signal, I don't think I've seen a better K-Drama than that. As for recommendations, try out Scarlet Heart Ryeo if you haven't already.

38 Task Force is a good watch. Have you seen Bad Guys? Seo isn't in it as far as I know but the 2 universes for both shows are connected.

Am I the only one...? I honestly can't connect with any of the characters, and the only reason I'm even choosing…
The meta aspect of the series has enormous potential, which W isn't really utilising it to the fullest. However, if you just sit down and see what they're trying to do, it's pretty cool. You might think it's nonsensical (at times it definitely is) but that's only really happening because the fantasy is being mixed up with K-Drama romcom cliches, which I don't mind.

As for your questions, it's probably not going to get answered and if it is, it'll be half-assed. Probably because of Kang Chul's will he was able to break the barrier between both worlds or some kinda far-fetched bullshit.

Same here. I end up watching a lot of his dramas by complete accident for the most part.
