So is Asakura some sort of demon? I watched the Keizoku TV series and it's special before watching this movie. I haven't watched anything of SPEC yet but will do soon.
I just absolutely love the universe thus far and the music composition is just fantastic in setting the mood.
I totally agree with the part"As for Lee Seung Joo (Park Gyu Young) being the real culprit, I think up until that…
The thing is we only know about her sob story very late on, a majority of the cast kinda lacked character development. The show was done sylishly but was definitely lacking in many ways.
loved the series but the cop cars were they intentionly made to look usa metro kind?as im used to seeing all k…
She's meant to be a rather well-off character but overall this drama wasn't that great but filled the hole for a little bit considering how we don't really get that many dramas in that genre.
It was interesting but I do think the FL kinda took the edge away from this series by making it more goofy, like Inspector Koo pulled it off extremely well but this drama didn't.
I had taken about a month or 2 break from dramas overall as nothing interested me and then I came across this murder mystery with what seemed like Disney Plus dropping the first 6 episodes on the first day, I hopped on and wanted to get myself in engrossed in it.
However, I could never truly get into it completely because the FL's acting seemed out of place, like she's trying to play a perky Sherlock Holmes and is only showing this rather cheerful facade to hide her pain at least that's what I think she's trying to convey. The series doesn't exactly develop her character but instead leaves remarks on what her pain could be and how she was dealing with it but instead she's kind of nonchalant about the entire ordeal. On the other hand, I actually liked the protrayals done by both the ML and Park Gyu Young, even though both are also under-developed.
As an avid fan of thriller murder mystery dramas, it is a bit easy to deduce who the culprit is before it is fully revealed. Overall, I thought the drama was decent and I'm giving it a 8/10.
Right now, I dove head first into the Keizoku series, really loving it and thank god for the free leech week, grabbed all sorts.
The point is if you are avid fan of thriller like me, or have seen a lot of thriller kdramas. You would guess…
Same and it was kinda obvious in getting a relatively popular actress and then say she's a "guest" character but when she is in so many scenes in the show. I was like she's clearly a supporting character and not a guest, so she's probably the killer.
I'm finding her to be the weakest element of this particular drama (Nine Puzzles) and I feel like she kinda always…
Yes but both actually, both in the lack of genre diversity and second the romance/melodramas practically feel the same or just outright copies of each other.
Someone once told me that the K-Dramas are catering for the Western audiences (because their domestic audience is not big enough) even more now than when they used to like a decade ago, so K-Dramas in general have been relatively safe.
It's why so many of the K-Drama romcoms either have an episode or two where the ML and FL wound up together at a rural village and the FL has to change into ahjumma clothes and during that period they bond together. I've like seen this happen at least 10 to 8 times now since a few years ago. It became boring, the storyline between the romcom K-Dramas is only slightly tweaked with the only major differences between the shows being the different leads, the premise is interesting in the first couple of episodes before degrading to a generic romcom. It's like all of them are essentially following the same guideline, leads have an initial conflict but that gets resolved very quickly, the middle part of the show is their growing love and some backstory and a few episodes before the finale they break up over something a misunderstanding or a bakstory element but they get back together fairly quickly to finish the drama on a happy note.
They're playing it safe to retain an audience but by also trying to get new watchers.
J-Dramas on the other hand just do not cater towards anyone else but their own domestic audience which is large enough for them. It's why J-Dramas have so many niche stories and are just generally refreshing to watch.
Regardless, I've been watching dramas for far too long and so I've gone back to anime which I've taken almost a decade-long break from and just watching anything that I want to. I recently finished Summer Time Rendering and what a fantastic anime it was.
I'm not watching the last episode. I could not care less who wins between these two.
Put it on and go to a different room and do something else, so Netflix knows you completed the season, otherwise this might get condemned to cancellation if people don't actually finish the season.
Yeah, I didn't like what happened either as it seemed like the Luxury Living Alliance just won all the time regardless of having less numbers than the Prison crew.
I think I might have to rewatch this one.

Some movies I know she's been in are:-
1.) The Interest of the First Love
2.) The Princess and the Matchmaker
3.) The Woman Who Kills
4.) The Movie That Killed Me

It'd been great to see her work be appreciated. I saw her first in The Bacchus Lady, she did really well.
