Korea having a much smaller domestic market meant to appeal to a global audience by making their dramas accessible…
This comment has been on my mind ever since I read it and it's so so true. Only a few K-Dramas actually stray away from the tropey formula that is overused and I can see why the K-Drama rom-coms are pretty copy paste stories with only a few variables changed in between them, there's always that scene/arc where they go to the rural countryside and then the FL has to get changed into grandma/aunty clothes.
Seriously this comment has actually made me pick up anime again somewhat (I haven't truly been engaging anime for almost a decade, so a decent amount of shows to pick from now for me).
I really liked the show but I think the sound editing was pretty bad as it became very distracting, a lot of the OST is being used for random scenes like from eating a subway, playing a game or taking a taxi. It's like the sound engineer hated natural sounds/movements of the character that he kept the OST perpetually on the entire time.
The scenes after the ending credits, implies there's room for a season 2. I was fully expecting Theo to be at the meeting at the end of the episode and not that guy, well played dirtector/showrunner/screenwriter.
I gave it a 8.5/10. I wouldn't mind watching a second season but perhaps get a new guy to do the sound editing.
So I didn't watch "When The Camellia Blooms" yet even though it has Gong Hyo Jin in it and she is one of my favourite…
My little sister keeps asking if I've watched WLGYT, she seems to be genuinely surprised that I have't watched it already. I know I will watch it in due course.
You're probably not aware, but before Netflix entered the Korean market, almost all K-dramas used to film and…
I'm aware, been watching K-Drama for about 20 years now. It was the fact that they originally wanted to kill off the ML and the reason why he had such less scenes towards the end.
Park Bo-Gum's character was pretty much a background support character for most of the show but with moments where his character is fleshed out. When the FL made her decision, it just seemed a bit out of nowhere.
I was at first, taken a bit back as I thought Hospital Playlist was fairly new but it obviously came out 5 years ago and took a closer look and he hasn't directed in 4 years and made a few TV appearances lately.
Park Bo Gum is slaying ! He is in 2 of the Top 10 Shows of MDL. When life gives you Tangerines (9.4) and Reply…
I love the Reply series but I kinda hate Reply 1988 because the writer deliberately changed the "husband" as the shows a bit like "How I met your mother" as you keep guessing who the FL's husband is going to be. It was such a curveball for me, felt so out of the blue that I just didn't continue watching, I was up to episode 17 of 20.
Learned that this is written by the writer of When The Camellia Blooms – this will surely move at the top of…
So I didn't watch "When The Camellia Blooms" yet even though it has Gong Hyo Jin in it and she is one of my favourite actresses. I seemingly keep pushing it away and I think it was because the trailer/snippet show on Netflix for it was a little mundane, how much of the drama is centred around the serial killer? is the romance strong in the show?
Unfortunately there a few people in these comments that are an absolute piece of work, who are talking in such a narrow-minded way, I suspect that they are mentally challenged.
Okay, let's say there is a couple who have been together for over 10 years and have children together, then for some daft reason one set of parents from each of the couple (as in the man's Dad and the woman's Mother) suddenly get married because they have been recently dating. This marriage suddenly makes the couple quote on quote "Step-siblings", does that mean they break up?
It's nice to just sing "Sweet Home Alablama" without reading the context and the possible grey-area situations to exist by looking at the concept in a narrow-minded way.
However, as I already stated incest is pretty much always wrong. Please read next time (properly) before jumping to conclusions like the fool that is "Ethenpa".
I don't think you understand English and I highly suspect you are probably someone that is from an English-speaking country who wasn't taught well to read.
You are one dumb nugget, aren't you? I literally said INCEST is wrong and it feels like you're advocating it for some weird reason. There are only certain situations were it would be grey like for example, a couple have been together for 10 years and have children together and then for some daft reason one set of each other's parents get married, making them step-siblings all of a sudden, does that mean they break up?
You just seem to be a troll with a excessively narrow mind and I'm surprised to see that you struggle to write in paragraphs.

Thank you for this comment.

Kinda surprising, hope to hear from him soon.
I read a couple of comments on this article and it kinda makes sense that the writers were continually changing stuff and re-shooting scenes.

I absolutely love the Reply series but I'm unsure if I will ever watch the final 3 episodes of this one.

I just started watching episode 6, I hope the Korean maknae isn't playing her too hard to get info off her and put her in a difficult situation.
