I'm finding the FL to be the weakest element of this particular drama and I feel like she kinda always plays the same character at least in the 3 dramas I've watched her in by being a bit goofy.

She's meant to be playing someone who has lost their entire family, a struggling insomniac that is only able to sleep a bit better than normal at the detective's place, otherwise it's sub 2 hours naps and yet her character always seems to be hyper and fresh. She readily puts herself in harm's way to feel alive because she does not value her life anymore and is fixated on finding the killer. Like the actress' approach to the character is somewhat contradictory as she tries to be like Sherlock Holmes.

I do like this drama, it's the K-Drama that has brought me back to watch dramas temporarily though as the K-Drama's landscape continues to be barren. A few months back, I stopped watching live-action dramas and gone back to anime, absolutely loving it.

Kim Da-mi is such a marvelous actress that each of her dramas should always be on the top list.

Most likely true, it's a common affair unfortunately as the situation is probably even more stressful when the cast are even more high profile.

I know a few of the comments down below don't want this to be true because they love this drama so much that they don't want to associate anything negative towards it. I'm not sure what proof can be provided without it potentially hurting the person who provides it, they might loose their future livelihood in the industry if they get caught whistleblowing and get blacklisted from the industry.

Person Go Min Si
So after more than a decade of work under her belt, a "victim" comes out of the woodwork to throw allegations of school bullying towards her. There are several potential reasons:-

1.) It might have actually happened, it could be extreme or incredibly mild bullying, no idea.
2.) It's just some BS false allegation.
3.) It's more of what 2 is but it's done by her talent agency themselves to fabricate this shit to put pressure on their "talent" to sign new contracts since she's be doing well since 2020.

Unfortunately, these allegations towards other actresses is fairly common.

Both psychiatrists looks soooo sus to me even during ep 1. Her housekeeper is sus too. I love this drama so much.…
I wonder if both psychiatrists are the killers because some of the kills such as the boat guy, I reckon were done by the female psychiatrist, I assume she subdued the boat guy with a drug of sorts as his vision is a bit distorted when he gets up from sleeping on the deck chair.

The housekeeper also treats I Na kinda badly, coldly. Sometimes she seems to be judging, even condemning. I wouldn't…
It's why she trusts her because the housekeeper believes that the FL is involved in her uncle's death in some way and it's why the housekeeper is afraid of her and tries her best to be out of the house when the FL is there.

If the housekeeper didn't care, then the FL would be more cautious about her.

after completing shooting for mantis and promoting squid game s2 she's now taking a break 🩷 she has worked…
She's in Nine Puzzles, definitely not a "guest role" but a supporting characters and potentially the main villain even.

This is a plea.

Please stop review-bombing this show on MDL, IMDB, etc. I want them to make a season 3 but the way things are going, they're not gonna be able to correct some of their mistakes to make the show better and instead we will be met with a cancellation that most do not wish for.

Please and thank you.

I'll need to watch that but he played his game and won. I disliked him too but I don't want to be review-bombing this show when it has given me so much joy and I want another season but the way people are reacting, it unfortunately looks like it's headed towards cancellation, which absolutely sucks.

Yehh! Especially when korea is a very competitive place for education in comparison to the UK.
Sri Lankan Asian, my parents are both immigrants, I was born in the UK and I was their first born. I don't know what but our particular community in London, going to tuition felt almost compulsory and yes it was expensive as hell. I hated all of it, just felt it was unnecessary and was taking too much of my time, thankfully I got along with the other kids that went to tuition with me. I had a couple of one to one tuitions as well growing up, even though I never wanted to go or needed it, they made me go regardless.

My mother thought I was bit too naughty and made me waste my Saturday afternoon and evenings by making me go to the Sai Baba Bhajanas........hated that soooo much, a lot of the kids were ethinically Indian, Pakistani and only a few Sri Lankans.

she isn't a serial killer, the trailer and pilot episode were let alone to mislead the viewers.
I watched the majority of Unmasked and forgot to finish it off. That's the thing, I just feel like K-Dramas are letting people down lately by just being a little too boring and repetitive.

So I'm taking a break from them and enjoying my time catching up on anime.

Yes, when you compare it to the average person from the UK but I'm Asian, so I had to do all the cram school and tuition growing up, like from the age of like 8 or 9, for me it was torture, it was like doing school twice. Consoles locked away and only to be played during holidays and very very limited time to watch TV, which I hated because the stuff I would want to watch would air at the times I would be at tuition, like Saturday morning classes....fuck me, I would miss out on Power Rangers and the lot.

So I felt her pain when she was crying and discussing her childhood, to some it might seem tragic or extreme but it's kinda just standard with certain parents.

am i the only one who noticed the alice in wonderland themed tapestry in one of the rooms? i feel like thats a…
I guess Justin never looked at it because he was always in Prison possibly but they enter the luxury living area right at the beginning of the show, so I thought they might have noted it straight away.

Regardless of Justin, I feel like they would all know what Alice in Wonderland is as it's a significant piece of literature that has definitely influenced many manga and we know for a fact that Koreans do consume a lot of manga and anime.

However, at the same time, I mean Knight's Tour shares similarities to Alice in Wonderland in the sense that both use chess pieces as a major theme. I do think some of the main matches are kinda chess-like such as the Unknown game.

I'm kinda wishing there is another hidden stage but at the same time I doubt it now with only 3 episodes left.

You know I was kinda rooting for Ha-Rin to get eliminated because she was "I will destroy them all", "I will kill you", etc but when she did her exit interview about how tough and strict her study regime was, most likely orchestrated by her parents so that she can be successful or may stright up become a doctor. I connected with her at that point because I too have Asian parents who wanted me to become a doctor and I guess I felt at one point that I wanted to become a doctor as well, I studied like crazy and rarely watched anime and was not playing any games of the sort. I got the best grades in A-levels (at the time AAA in Biology, Chemistry and Maths) and got into Medical school, I spent a couple of years in it but then pivoted towards Economics as a degree.

Anyways, when she was saying I think she only 2 hours per week to like game and watch things, I think only 30 minutes for anime, I just started feeling bad for her as she was crying and saying how the experience was her first time to do something she wanted.

She's 26 years old I believe, so she just graduated from med school or it's been a year I think for her, so in UK terms, she would be a F1 trainee, who's still deciding what field to pursure but I think she wants to become an established plastic surgeon in the future. Good Luck to her.

I remember one of the contestants, was saying she looked scary or something because she looked like a walking doll. I found it a little funny but I don't think he said that to her face, not sure though.

I really like the dude and did enjoy his battles in season 1 but I don't think he's smarter than everyone in the S2 cast though but we won't really know as they haven't battled against each other yet.

It would be an awesome concept if S1 cast and S2 cast were put together for season 3, that would be 26 contestants and perhaps make the scedule a little longer than a week. Oh, it would be so brutal.
