Seems so far SML is only interested in bringing ML and his business down; as to why exactly probably something…
I think her parents own the house. Maybe I missed understood but that's the impression I got. Which would explain the keys, but not the lack of consideration for her privacy π
If you want a badass/ female general I would recommend "The Long Ballad" "The Legend of Shen Li" "The Blue Whisper" over all the ones that are in the tournament
I'm hesitant to start this because I'm still scarred by how bad the ml actor's character was in My Boss
I love CXX but I couldn't finish My Boss either. I think the writing was boring. He is fantastic in Starry Love, Love in the Turquoise Land, Fall in Love, and of course the super grey, charismatic character in Goodbye My Princess.
This makes me kind of think that CXX at some point in the future may actually become a director himself: https://weibo.com/6097232839/5252832290931367
You can tell he is a true artist. In Starry Love he had a lot of input into the characters he played, he clearly cares about the craft and not just the fame
Is anyone confused about Jun Dai? He's originally a servant in the Rong's household, given to LJL by Shanbao,…
When he found out earlier ML' s official rank. He said he would follow him, and for ML to take him when he reveals his identity. A good career move I guess
This is exactly what Iβm saying about almost every C-drama I wanted to watch but drop it because of this . I…
Reading this makes me think of one of the most popular tropes in both Western and Eastern dramas and that is "Beauty and the Beast" or "Enemies to Lovers". I think part of the draw is women are attracted to stories where there is a women finding the diamond in the rough, taming the beast, helping someone find redemption. We also like powerful, strong men over weak cowardly men. So in the story the ML may mistreat the FL at the beginning, but it doesn't stay there. He will always change and become better. The problem with the recent flipping of the script is the Female "beast" don't acknowledge there is a problem with the behavior or ever take responsibility for it. Of course there are exceptions to these, but I've noticed in general

I hear you. The hypocrisy is obnoxious. It seems to be popular in recent dramas for the Females to mistreat the Males and never take responsibility or apologize. I hope that goes away! Not only is it wrong and toxic, it makes the ML look unattractive and weak to allow such treatment. Green Flag doesn't mean acting like a doormat.
