Absolutely loved this drama! My one criticism would be it under used music to tell the story and set the tone. I remember getting chills with the music for big scenes in Love Between Fairy and Devil, Starry Love, Legend of Shen Li, Goodbye My Princess, even Lighter and Princess. The music here was more in the background and didn't feel as epic. Still, I will be rewatching this drama for the characters and story❤️

I'm rewatching Lighter and Princess to help with withdrawals 😅 That and Love Between Fairy and Devil, the music in that one is soooo good

I agree, her last couple of roles have been similar in style and temperament. She is such a great actress, it would be a shame if she get's type cast.

Perfect Couple? I haven't heard of this one. Is it by the same author? I don't see it listed in the upcoming dramas

I haven't watched this yet and I like these actors, but I'm worried this might be too gory/gross/scary. What do you all think? Is it very graphic?

ELOD stands alone, some of the characters make an appearance in the Eternal Love series, but you don't need to watch it.

The ending is very happy. It has the whole hero's journey. She starts off rather spoiled and inexperienced but becomes a badass Queen. The CGI is a little outdated but the if you can over look that it's a great story

It's so good though! Sima Jiao's dad plays a villain in this one.

So sad it's over. Loved the relationship development and chemistry between these too! What are you all watching next?

The Legend of Shen Li is really good! The Blossoming Love (lots of love and a flirty FL) It's not Xianxia, but Arsenal Military Academy is really good too. Both are long, have fights, love, adventure and memorable characters 💕

The Black serpent guy is so annoying with his Bambi eyes and childish manner. He could have been a cool badass character but they certainly went in a different direction. I do not care about his "love story" at all.
