Damn I thought Lu Qing was a green flagπŸ˜”. I feel soo bad for Xiao Fan.. on one hand he loves LQ and on another…
LQ doesn't trust XF, he can't tell how much about him is sincere and how much is performance (as i understand it)

As much as I do not want a pushover main character I feel like I understand why Xiaofan is acting the way he does…
also it's nice to know that there're nice people among the upper class too

Time will tell, but I think after overhearing his friends, Lu Qing realized the obstacles that lie ahead for a…
i didn't see it this way. more like Lu Qing feels his peers and family pressure not to mingle with someone inferior and Lu Qing himself is as elitarian as the rest. he loves him, so when he's drunk he can't control himself, but he's convincing himself he can't be with him. on the other side Xiao Fan doesn't know what to do and that's why he keeps making soup as the only way he knows how to express his feelings

having read the book and now watching, I find it frustrating that in book and drama, Luqing is kind of opaque.…
so the novel has the same problem. i just complained Lu Qing point of view isn't explored much. i think he doesn't know what to believe. from one side he feels the pressure from his family and friend on the other, part of him at least, he can't tell if Xiao Fan is with him to get favours in return

wow great episode. fan loves and or crushes and or likes Bei. fan is too caring and hes close to bei now if that…
you know what the problem is? everything is so rushed. we get a glimpse of Fanfan and Lu Qin's everyday life as a couple, then they leave you to understand that Lu Qin gets pressure from his family and his peers to break up with someone deemed inferior. then the fake polite ex pops out. writers aren't doing a great job honestly

I think the majority of comments are made by people who understand absolutely nothing about the series, that we…
i think partially is also the script fault. there's really no much room for character development, especially Lu Qin

what set this jem aside the other bls it's that it doesn't have any of the bls tropes, everything is so natural and realistic

Each ep has a line that lingers longer than it is meant to be. This time it was Are you trying to make me remember…
absolutely, i've been feeling like this since last episode actually. this is how love should look like. each and everyone of their love lines linger with me more than it should.
