This is still my favorite drama, but I'm really confused with Sue Ae's character. Too passive in one moment, stubborn and assertive in the next, but for the most part it seems like she doesn't realize the consequences of not going with the flow, not only for herself but for her family.
OMG will Seok Hoon fall for Ji Sook? O_O It's kind of ironic how he was so confident he could be cool around her…
Hi! My two cents here :) From what I gathered, Seok Hoon must feel as though Ji Sook is his, more like his property than love, but the fact that she also looks like the woman he loved he must feel really jealous. Think the jealousy might even surprise him. Regarding the sister, I think she knows her husband was having an an affair with his current sister in law, and that he (her husband) put here there with the idea of taking everything away from herself and her family. These are just two ideas. I could be wrong. I'm really enjoying this, and it's hard to wait for new episodes. Enjoy!
This is my favorite drama at the moment. All 3 main characters are simply amazing. I have to admit that Yeon Jung Hoon is an amazing actor. He does a bad guy as great as he does a nice one. Sue Ae is also great. I really like her doormatty, but- really- trying to- stay-strong current self.
I'm really connecting with this drama. I miss it as soon as it's over. Kim So Yeon is one of my favorite Kactresses, and the 2 main male leads are simply great. I hope it continues as it is. I'm enjoying it.
I don't even know how to describe this drama. It's like a "slice of life" piece, with some dark comedy embedded subtly into it. Often I don't understand what is going on exactly, but I'm always fascinated while I watch. The last episode made think that either Bom is 1)trying to learn all the rules so she can later bend them, 2) Is under the process of being a victim of the phrase, "power corrupts, and absolute power corrupts absolutely," 3) This drama is a much more slowly built, and more Machiavellic form of "Mean Girls" (Bom being the Lindsay Lohan character). I don't where this drama is going; All I know is that I'm enjoying the ride.
Someone on yt started subbing it in English. The videos are low quality but better than nothing for now https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCey3o2ChAoo9B5pcG_zkn9A…
Thanks for the link. I started watching, and it is hard to understand because of the sentence structure, btut it is absolutely better than nothing . I enjoyed the episodes I've watched so far.
Yay, for the Persuasion shout out. It's also my favorite Jane Austen book- and I love Jane Austen books.
Also, Yes to the Bollywood movies. My favorite on the more romantic and angsty side are : Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam (i have given my heart, darling), Vivah ( Marriage), and Devdas. I Luuuve these movies. They always hit the right balance of romance, beautiful dances, songs, and cinematography. I highly recommend them for any romance lover. P.S. The last one needs extra tissues.
Oh, this is starting to drag, and the plot holes are getting deeper and bigger. What sense does it make that she trusts Han Min Hyeok? Does she not pay attention to what is going on outside of herself?? Feeling a little frustrated right now. I really thought they were going to do without the noble idiot thing. :(
Good first two episodes, so much back story, pretty confusing when trying to piece everything together though.
I agree with you. I liked it with reservation. They gave us so much information without lining it up cohesively. I feel like they just dumped all the puzzle pieces over our heads, and we were to distracted by The Healer to care too much. :)
