There won't be a third season. Technically speaking, "Light and Shadow" is Part Two of Two and not Season 2. AOS was drafted as ONE big story that was divided into two parts.

The original Mudeok is JBY, which Naksu's soul is currently inhabiting.

Jin Mu raised Naksu since she was young and interacted with her several times.

Given everyone's description of his character, anyone else wish that Part 2 would have introduced Seo Yul's father? He sounds more interesting than his useless uncle.

Personally, I think he might feel tempted to take that route before finding another option that can save both souls. Of course, this all depends on whether the Hong Sisters want a happy ending for Part 2.

We can't rule out that Jang Uk does have the ability to save Naksu by removing JBY's soul from the body as well. Given how Park Jin has been recently emphasizing the importance of saving two lives and not just one, there's always a chance that Jang Uk might find a way to save both souls.

It's really hard to say right now whether this show will end on a happy or sad note. Things can go either way at this point.

Although there are a lot of great theories out there on how to save Naksu's soul, we have to remember that the Hong Sisters may think very differently about the story.

I think it's a combination of two things.

1. She feels guilty for having killed him.

2. Naksu doesn’t want to make Jang Uk suffer anymore with the limited time she has left.

Unless Master Lee ends up dying as well, I don't think this scene will take place in the afterlife.

If the JBY soul dilemma is addressed before the end of Episode 10, then we'll know by then whether the show ends on a happy note.

The leaked shot is from the last day of filming. Unless they filmed episodes out of order, this scene will take place in Episode 10. We just don't know where it fits within the context of the story.

Plus, I don't think they'll have time for a wedding scene in Episode 9.

Anyone else feel that Park Dan Gu and Jin Cho Yeon were robbed of the spotlight in Part 2? We haven't seen them do much, despite having prominent roles in Part 1.

I don't recall any of the other characters questioning about the identity of Mudeok's body back in Part 1. Also, we have to remember that Naksu was raised as a hardened assassin and had no qualms about killing other people or using the alchemy of souls if necessary. It wasn't until she met Jang Uk that her personality started to change.

Putting it simply, Part 2 Naksu (JBY) is what she would have been like without her traumatic childhood experiences.

I wouldn't recommend it. The appearance of the soul shifters will definitely frighten a lot of kids.

Assuming that you haven't watched it already, your questions will be answered in Episode 2. It's still Naksu's soul in JBY's body. She lost all of her memories when Master Lee revived her. Jang Uk never saw Naksu's original face up close.

Jin Mu was able to escape death and punishment by putting all of the blame on Naksu and Jin Cho Yeon's father.

Master Lee is in this scene as well. However, it could still be a sad ending if this leaked shot turns out to be a like a "Final Sendoff" to Naksu before her soul leaves JBY's body.

JSM was most likely unavailable to film any additional scenes for Part 2. Plus, it's cheaper to use a child actress for JBY as well.

For the sake of everyone else's sanity here, let's hope that this SPOILER shot is from the ending of Episode 10.

One thing is for certain. Even if Naksu and Jang Uk overcome this crisis, they will always be cursed with third wheelers to their relationship.lol

I can't believe they've regressed Seo Yul so much from Part 1. And people wonder why I have problems with his character.

Did something bad happen again?

Episodes 1-3 were great. It's episodes 4-7 where things started to drag. Episode 8 seems to have finally picked up the pace.
