It's not going to be clean that's for sure. Despite heading into Episode 8, there hasn't been any major shake ups or development in the main story.

I feel like the only reasons why Part 2 is holding up so well is because of the fans from Part 1, LWJ and GYJ's acting, and their chemistry with each other.

If I had to take a wild guess, I would say that it's because of Yun Ok's antagonism towards JBY and her annoying maid.

Probably has to do with it being New Years Eve and several awards shows premiering around the same time.

Well, that's the power of Hwang Min Hyun I guess. The guy can make any situation look for fans.

I really miss the OG scenes involving Jang Uk, Seo Yul, Dan Ho, and Mudeok. They were so careful and just endearing to watch. I also miss seeing the friendly interactions between Jang Uk and Yun Ok as well.

I don't know why people hate her character so much. She isn't that bad.

It's not like she slapped JBY's face or intentionally put her in harm's way. Her and Seo Yul are just examples of what people would do with unrequited feelings.

Technically speaking, this is Part 2 of 2. It's not a brand new season.

From what I recall, the Hong Sisters wrote one LONG story for AOS and divided it into two parts.

Funny story BTW. I re-watched Episode 7 with a few of my friends and it was surprising (in a good way) to see them all say the same things that everyone else already mentioned in the comments section.

They all agreed that it wasn't a kiss since the purpose behind the gesture was to save Seo Yul's life. I even got smacked on the head by one of my friends saying and I quote "So, does that mean all lifeguards and paramedics kiss their patients as well when saving their lives?". It was my "Grinch-Christmas" moment on New Year's Eve.

Just because Part 1 had a sad ending, doesn’t mean that Part 2 won't. It's the Hong Sisters after all.

Speaking from a recent experience, it's better to keep your expectations low as it eliminate the possibility as you won't feel disappointed even at the worse case scenario.

So you're okay with Naksu dying and Jang Uk ending up with Heo Yun Ok?

It really depends on the characters and story for me to want a happy ending. As they are now, I just don't think a happy ending scenario works for Jang Uk and Naksu. It would feel weird and predictable.

If it's like Hotel Del Luna, then Jang Uk will survive and the show will end with IU making a cameo as the next priestess for a fake season 3 tease.

If the original JBY soul has been self aware during this entire time, would love to hear what she thinks about Jang Uk's advances.lol

If Santa Clause is real, then we will get a sad ending for this show.

Either that or Jang Uk learns the truth (Memory=Death) and decides to break up with JBY in order to break up with her.

Which is probably why we'll likely end up with Options 1 or 2.

Imagine if they had gotten JSM back to play a villainous JBY for the Part 2 finale.

All of that power and yet he still couldn't take out the blood parasite from Seo Yul.

Naksu dies saving the world. Jang Uk learns to move on. The End.

You should have seen the section last night. Plenty of name calling after my knee-jerk reaction to Episode 7's magical CPR moment.
