The only way to see that smile again is if Jang Uk figures out how to save Naksu's soul without dying in the process.

Unless Master Lee reveals a hidden trump card that can save Naksu's soul, it's not looking good right now for the show's one true couple.

It just feels like the Hong Sisters gave up midway in trying to remain creative with the story. A lot of plot points don't make sense at all.

Even without the Amnesia plot, Part 2 has several other issues with its storytelling.

No, there won't be a season 3. For the record, "Light and Shadow" is just the second half of one large story.

I wholeheartedly agree. I remember Part 1 having so many memorable moments that I've repeatedly watched even to this day. Unfortunately, I can't say the same thing about Part 2.

The only useful thing we've learned in the past 7 episodes is that GYJ's beauty is unmatched.

If the main plot hasn't found its footing by the halfway mark (i.e., Episode 5), then I doubt anything is really going to change within the last three episodes.

If I could change my rating for Part 2, I would give it a 6 or 7 out of 10 right now.

In hindsight, I do wish that we could have seen more of GYJ as Naksu and Mudeok.

Imagine the last scene is Jang Uk getting married to Naksu, only for her to look at the camera and reveal that JBY is now controlling the body. It would be one of the biggest plot twists to end a K-Drama.

Well that explains why so many here have no problems with Seo Yul when compared to Yun Ok. Nevertheless, I'm no longer experiencing a good ending for this show. They've really missed the ball with Part 2, which has been more about fan service than good storytelling.

Agreed. One of the main attractions of Part 1 was seeing how Jang Uk would overcome the obstacles in front of him. He's completely OP now and no longer has any physical challenges. Part 2 seeems to be more about fan service than it is about good storytelling. Even the production vale and effects look better in Part 1.

Happy Ending or not, Part 2 is a major letdown when compared to its predecessor.

Personally, a part of me wants to see Jang Uk and Yun Ok have some kind of moment before this show ends because of blatant favortism towards the Seo Yul and Naksu pairing.

Sounds pretty misandric if you ask me. So it's okay for the FL ti be intimate with several ML but not vice versa?

If thats the case, then most people should drop this show entirely.

If that were true, then Jang Uk wouldn't have been previously engaged to 7-8 women or have someone like Yun Ok pining for him.

Just out of curiosity, what has Yun Ok done recently that makes people think she's trying to still win Jang Uk's heart? While Yun Ok doesn't like seeing JBY with Jang Uk, she hasn't really done anything bad either.

If we go by K-Drama logic, tonight's episode will most likely end with a sad cliffhanger since the previous episode ended on a good note.

It's also funny that Naksu can't seem to remember anything after having so many intimate moments with Jang Uk. You'd think that one of her previous kisses with him as Mudeok would have flashed before her eyes by now.
