A good first episode! I like the post-time skip scene at the very beginning, showing us that they plan to finally adapt the parts of the novels we've never seen. (Even though that part isn't in the novels as told to me by a friend LOL) But I have high hopes for the series! I'm going into it with an open mind and excited for what's to come! <3

The author is... Well, she's just selfish, I'll say that much. She doesn't care at all about her fans and just wants the money. I will say, at least the official merch had that extra scene to prove Wu-bi's alive, but, other than that, it does end there for the drama version. At least for now. I'm still hoping we'll get a REAL season 2 later...

99% of Chinese shows are dubbed over. China is a whole continent and there's SO many different accents and dialects. So, most shows are dubbed over in Mandarin with no accents so everyone can understand!

I know, it's heartbreaking ;-;

In case anyone isn't aware, season 2 has been changed.
Apparently, Chai Jidan sold Stay With Me to the dubbing company, who's making season 2 as a stage play/radio drama hybrid.
It will no longer star Xu Bin or Jiong Min, but rather the voice actors that played the characters in the series.

Chapter 1 of Book 2 is where you'll start!

In the novel, Gu Hai (or Wu Bi) survives the crash. Bai Luo Yin (Su Yu) confronts Gu Yang (Mo Yi). There's an 8 year time skip, and the story continues. As long as the writers follow the novel, Wu Bi will be okay. <3

I can definitely see that. x'D Even still, I feel like their acting and chemistry would be perfect for the leads. It wouldn't be the first time a show cast people older than the characters.
