I was watching the first episode and dropped it cuz the acting seemed a little bit off for me , i'm watching it…
Absolutely try again, once you get past the first 1/2 episodes it really picks up. If you stopped at ep 1, you haven't even started watching the other timeline yet. The beginning is a bit weak, but it's there to setup the story to be suspenseful. You may not like the characters at first because you're not going through the story with them (yet), you're starting in the "middle" of everything and getting caught up to the story through flashbacks and self/dialogue. It's not the best way to start a story but just know it's like that for a reason.

The acting is maybe something you're not used to but it's very good, and I actually think taiwanese acting fits this drama very well.

Title Someday or One Day Spoiler
you know, they could've just showed a 18 year old(?) Huang Yu Xuan and a 28 year old Li Zi Wei accidentally meeting…
It's good they kept it subtle, maybe they are just friends, but hey, love can happen anywhere, between anyone. I think that's what a lot of drama teach us, if anything (though this one was a lot more meaningful than just that).

There are many untold love stories, perhaps in alternate timelines. There are many unrealized love stories, perhaps in our timeline. In a way, it is sympathy for all of them. HYX wishes for one of her birthday that "all those destined to be with each other can be together" - reading it through sounds kinda illogical/naive but I get where she's coming from, it makes a lot of sense. In this world, what are the chances of finding the perfect one, and what barriers (whether that be age, distance, social, etc.) exist between them that would prevent them from being together? On one hand, this means perhaps all the relationships, friendships aren't as special as we've come to believe, and we should keep an open mind, but on the other hand it also means that we need to cherish the connections we've made because it isn't easy for 2 people who get along to meet.

In the end, CYR learns not expect too much but be thankful and optimistic about the world and about her life.

Agreed, but not sure how would I change it? If I can't answer that question, then I won't be so judging. The beginning…
It's like the glass half full or half empty interpretation. The shift in tone occurred roughly halfway through the drama so as audience, we pick which half should act as the baseline for the story.

If I had the choice, I couldn't disagree with you, all my favorite drama are realistic, even those grounded in fantasy. However, despite all the cliche, the plot was strong enough to carry this one through, but I can see a better drama where the writers decided to take the red pill.

As you mentioned, they still could've met at Switzerland, so some may see all the unrealistic coincidences as simply minor details that ultimately still converge towards the same ending.

I liked it but I did not love it. I think the issue for me was how they went for a more typical kdrama that you…
Agreed, but not sure how would I change it? If I can't answer that question, then I won't be so judging.

The beginning of the drama felt more realistic than the end, but the theme of fate was already there and really you can already tell it's a bit of a fairy tale/fantasy, so in a way, it's what they were going for. While bittersweet, it's brimming with hope, comedic relief, you can tell that there will be ups and downs but ultimately the good will reign supreme. If I were to change it, I'd have to rewrite everything from the beginning and change the very foundation of the story but this was meant to be wholesome, and rightly so tackling a serious topic such as North Korea.

This is one drama I want to erase from my memory if possible. From the beginning till the end there was no happiness…
I don't dislike lack of happiness but I like that you said everyone seemed pretty much crazy, this means you can't really relate and connect with any of the characters and while the plot is interesting, it's really hard to watch just for that.

Most unexpectedly good drama, so far. Part of it is the mystery/suspense so maybe once everything is revealed it won't be as interesting.

I'll be honest when I first saw this drama, I thought it would devolve into a messy romance like from Summer's Desire, but so far it's not quite that, it seems a lot bigger and better but we'll see. Even after watching, it still gives off vibes of some very bad "steal yo girl" romance drama, treading the thin line between being bold and dumb.

I've never watched a drama where I can't tell if it's deep or not. To some extent, it definitely is, the main leads all show depth of character. There's a lot of clever work scenarios involved, could even call it realistic. A lot of thought was put into every part. The only thing that worries me is the big picture, how will it wrap up and with what meaning?

Since the story is based on a japanese drama, it's already a given that there's a special message, something to take away. But this adaptation is much longer than the original so how much does it differ? (Please don't spoil if you know)

Whatever it is, this drama is super interesting and you'd be missing out not to check it out.

Fun fact: The names of the main leads fit well with the theme of the story.

I think that if this drama came out now instead of in 2013, it would’ve been very popular because it’s a good…
This drama was very popular in China at the time.

The best tragedy drama ever :(
It's really hard to satisfy audience with tragedy and this drama accomplishes that, does not deserve such a low rating (relative to other drama), it's well received in China.

The costumes and scenery are beautiful and the cast is great, especially chemistry between the main acting cast.

The beginning of the drama is fast-paced, suspenseful, clever and I'd call it one of the most perfect starts to a drama. Unfortunately, the plot twist felt really dumb, adding unnecessary melodrama/angst, and is never fully explained. The rest of the story is far too elaborate, slow, inconsistent, and I think the authors lost track of what they wanted the drama to feel like originally. Near the end it picks up again and shows us something interesting. For those who understand chinese, the title of this drama seems to have very little significance to the drama, the hair really isn't all that important and appears very late.

I'd say this is a must-watch drama even if you have drop it after the beginning, absolutely stunning.

The leads indeed had amazing chemistry, as friends. The development into romance felt forced, kinda like just because they've been supporting each other and living together for a while, they naturally fell in love. It's not as exciting but very realistic and perhaps more meaningful. Nonetheless, a very timeless romantic drama, far from perfect, but down to earth and has the right intentions.

Title Good Bye, My Princess Spoiler
Im just in the episode 10 and i cant believe how ridiculous the story is.. (no offense meant to fans) i can't…
I thought so too but you learn to accept what happens in the beginning is necessary to facilitate such a storyline. That said, I can think of few approaches that might be better and preserve the same conflicts, which is if the male lead, instead of joining forces with his army, fights to defend the Danchi, this way at least the feeling of betrayal won't be as strong. The problem with this is then his position would be in danger once he goes back to palace. Also if Xiaofeng did not feel so betrayed, she would not have jumped into the lake of forgetness.

Title Good Bye, My Princess Spoiler
Tragic... the girl died in the end.. she killed herself ..
Other than the very last scene, you would be missing out on an otherwise great drama. The author could've easily made her choose to live, there was nothing forcing her to kill herself.
