I'm starting to feel like something's wrong with me... 10 episodes in and this is seriously not doing doing it…
You are not the only one. I watch it because there isn't anything better. Not my type of comedy, somewhat disconnected mood when we take into account inoffensive pg-13 comedy and thread with FL's friend's ONS. If they took most of the comedy, trim it to like 12 episode it would be decent serious drama, but as of right now it is just fine - not great, not terrible. Most of kdramas for me are just turn-your-brain-off guilty pleasure so I didn't expect much. So I wouldn't say you are wrong, just not in you taste.
i like this drama very much + ji sung acting its worth watch but still there is something missing which I can’t…
Well, the thing is it's not very smart drama. They didn't give the viewer a lot of clues to try and logically figure out what is going on. It goes from point A to B to C and so on and just explains to viewer what has happened. For example - it's been 12 episodes and we still don't know absolutely anything about Joon Soo's death. Tae Jin was first - could have perpetrated JS's murder and was waiting for the result when the rest showed up. And there isn't any more clues about what could actually happen. It is done like that with every plot point. Something happens to person A, then something happens to person A again, but with some more information and again, something happens to person A and they give us more exposition. I overall enjoy this show, but realised in second episode that it isn't complex drama, which is actually wierdly refreshing. And one more thing, it would be funny if the password was 1882.
Sure, let it be convinient ending. However I don't think the kid has power to GO BACK in time and bring things with himself. He has power to get missing things from the past. Still, it's badly written ending to be honest. It leaves so many plotholes with the fact that Gwi Ju can interact with everything in the past. Still enjoyable watch.
He cannot change past, but with Do-hae if he has a plan to get something from the future, he can come back and…
For him it is his present - yes, it is relative. He is in past global timeline (the one that no mortal can influence), missing time from global present. His relative present is in past timeline. It's hard to explain in text. I'm not trying to sound smart, but in this case I think time is relative. He has his limited timespan that he uses in past global timeline. There is always a chance that I am overthinking, but my point is I think that writers trying to say that past is not something you can change, but you can always look forward to the future.
I don't like something about the main actress. She seems stiff, I somehow can't connect with her character, her…
She has unusual way of pronouncing words. Noticed it in different drama, but I don't think she is stiff. I was surprised how expressive she was when she discovered that Dong family has powers and wouldn't call that stiff at all.
Reminder that his colleague still died in the fire. I have a feeling that he saved Gwi Joo and Do Hae there. At…
TBH timing in a lot of scenes is off. They cut a lot and then show extended scene in next episode. I normally would hate it, but I decided to ignore it in this drama (and few other smaller mistakes) to actually enjoy it as there wasn't any great shows in few recent months.
He cannot change past, but with Do-hae if he has a plan to get something from the future, he can come back and…
I thought the same, but he can influence present with his power. Look, I agree that he cannot change the past, but he can get useful information from his present and give it to Do Hae. He became firefighter, but I think he should have become cop. It is possible for him to come back to someone's misfortune so possible crime. Then he could see how it happened and in present try to punish criminal. However if we take into consideration his mother's power then it is actually one set timeline. Just like it was in Dark series on Netflix.
i swear if gwi joo dies by the end of this, i will actually riot
Reminder that his colleague still died in the fire. I have a feeling that he saved Gwi Joo and Do Hae there. At this point we also know that he cannot influence other things except for Do Hae so the rubble cannot really hurt him there. Of course with assumption that writers won't change his power.
This is such a hopeless drama because think about it.. what it is saying is, things have happened...they are already…
He cannot change past, but with Do-hae if he has a plan to get something from the future, he can come back and give it to her. Look at the lottery ticket. If he is sure that he can go back in perfect time then he can influence a lot of things. It's not as pessimistic as it seems.
I enjoyed the first episode I guess I just don't understand why he wouldn't immediately tell his team that he…
That's the reason why I didn't enjoy it. It feels cliche and stupid. And I don't know if it's bad script or poor directing. If poor script, I will know after watching 2nd episode. By poor directing I mean this fuzzy compilation. I think that if they instead showed POV of ML getting abducted and then just the moment he woke up without the fuzzy compilation it would be more interesting. Now he wakes up, action starts and later realizes he was drugged. Maybe he wakes up in hospital later and overhears doctor talking about injection marks and because of that he wants to get rid of blood samples (law about being under influence in Korea is wierd compared to other countries so even without investigation he would loose his job).
Those actions were all done when he was still heavily drugged and scared, so it makes sense Now his partner not…
Yes, he was drugged, but he knows he lost his gun and also I think he didn't pick all bullets. Someone will set him up for murder under influence or something simillar. That's why I have a problem. Someone commits murder, ballistics point at his gun, he is the suspect. I can understand that he doesn't want to tell anyone that he was drugged, but at this point instead of team of police officers solving the case, we have one guy trying to save his ego.
I don't know if anyone noticed. Ina can use her power if her and second person's eyes meet without any obstruction. She lowered her glasses and (I think) read mind of grandpa. But grandpa also had glasses on.
while I dont agree or I dont care about the ratings this early sadly episode 01 was very mediocre.Drinking his…
Yeah, I agree. Too be honest he should at least tell someone that he lost his gun? Why? I mean it is obvious that at some point someone will try set him up. Secondly, he was drugged, doesn't remember what happened past weekend and doesn't even try to inform his partner that he is in trouble. Goddamn, it won't be a good show.
I think so. when she said she has traumatized experience with fire. ig its the same accident. remember when one…
Well, that's probably it. It feels more realistic than my theory. I thought that maybe there is one specific colored item that makes it possible to prevent disaster, but he was never able to figure it out. We still need to know what were the bad parts about those new happy events - the bathroom event and the date. I just would feel slightly disappointed if "the key" is just strong will when for 7 years he desperately tried to save his colleague.
Ep 1 and 2 are completly different drama from ep 3 and 4. And I prefer the latter. I enjoyed this week's episodes much more than previous. I just hope it will continue in this tone, not the cringe comedy like in first two eps.
ep1 and 2 didn't sell this show for me last week so I'm skeptical... could ep3 do?
I was sceptical after ep 1 and 2, but to be honest ep 3 was good. It was more serious and I enjoyed it more. But I would wait until ep 4 aired. I don't trust single good episode.
2 episodes in, not realy like it. Jokes don't land for me. To be honest I don't see Song Ki Baek as this ideal announcer as he is described. Don't get me wrong, I think he does his best, but it doesn't work for me. Well, I'll see next two episodes and decide if it's drop or guilty pleasure, because it's definitely not an exceptional show.
