I m planning to watch this..but why the rating is soo low??Is it worth watching?
I'd say the rating is still too high. I don't think this is worth watching. Production and acting are good, music too, but the rest is simply bad. I watched 6th episode and couldn't bring myself to watch 7th. 10% of every episode is well shot spy thriller and rest is IMO not entertaining and pointless family comedy. The worst part is that throughout those 6 episodes I did not catch what the point of the spy drama is - what i understood was "there is some type of crime syndicate and we must stop them", nothing more. There is so little information in those episode it kills my will to watch it. There is a lot to unpack, but I will stop myself here. You can try watching it, but I do not recommend it.
Dang, I haven't started this drama yet but I feel like the ratings just keeps dropping every week... what's going…
First thing, most subtitles are awful, those on HiTV, where I watch are decent. Second is poor direcring. I watched 5 episodes and don't understand what's the story behind DH missions. Acctual spy plot is like 10% of each episode and the rest is meaningless family comedy that I at least don't find funny. Also director just gives viewer no clues and only answers - I am talking about YooRa' s real profession. There was one, but it was so poorly shown that I wouldn't be surprised if most people didn't notice. Sixth episode seems to be more interesting, but if it will keep the same schema I will just drop it. It's not worth it. Also the kid is obnoxious.
Why did the production style change from "not a soap opera" in the first couple episodes to "soap opera" later…
For me it always looked like soap opera. Even in first episode I noticed those 1 angle whole room camera shots - mainly YD's house and those in main hall in TK's house. The light and focus feels the same. The only scene that didn't look cheap to me was talk between YD and TK in park at night, rest feels like unusal soap opera.
Well, I enjoy those slow conversations, nature shots with sound and speachless stares even if they don't have deeper meaning. When it comes to ex-gf and narcissistic mother they are reasons why everybody is broken. Mainly mother - she is a reason for everyone's missfortune here. ML has passive personality and suffered his life because of her. His gf left him bacause of his mother's awful personality(it's no excuse, still dislike Minyoung's guts). FL got screwed up by her father and she has internal conflict when it comes to her feelings for ML. She has deep hatered for the mother, wants revenge for her family, but on the other hand there is ML which reminds her about the enemy, but also she has feelings for him. Imagine that you want to date a person, whos parent made you go broke. I just don't think the story has no backbone.
At the very end (?), I don’t know. People said he was in a coma, I know he was a few minutes before the story…
After watching more of the drama I don't think 2nd season will follow webtoon story. They will probably use character names, but they will have completly different personalities just like Soo Ho has. Everything is possible now including happy ending for Soo Ho.
At the very end (?), I don’t know. People said he was in a coma, I know he was a few minutes before the story…
What I mean is at this moment all we know is that after the incident doctor said that Soo Ho's brain is heavily damaged and they don' t know how long he will be in coma, but if he wakes up he will live, but not normally. Than he got transfered to other hospital. Whis is what happened in webtoon. After that we didn't get any news about him. About the lie - Grey got messege from Soo Ho, but it was fake. In the messege it said that Soo Ho wants to meet him in Busan, but it was all to distract Grey from the main plot.
its based on webtoon. the season 1 was just 7-8 chapters of flashback in webtoon. real drama will start from season…
I have the same problem. This arc I dare say was best part of the webtoon and probably the most realistic. The rest is like you say "high school kids playing mafia". I wish that second season will be toned down. I hope so but it will be hard knowing what the main antagonist is like and the whole background.
At the very end (?), I don’t know. People said he was in a coma, I know he was a few minutes before the story…
It is kind of presumption that Soo Ho is out of coma. There is a situation where Grey (sorry, I'm accustomed to the webtoon names) goes to Busan (I think) to meet Soo Ho, but it was a lie. State of Soo Ho in webtoon as of chapter 225 is completly unknown.
All the events in 15 eps were just HW's comma dream. He projected his desire to become DJ in his comma dream.…
There is one catch. HW changed history. If you recall 2nd episode, he saved grandpa from plane crash. Yet he was part of Jin Do Jun assassination and didn't connect the dots. It doesn't make any sense at the end. The end is just one big rushed plothole.
Can anyone tell me how much of the webtoon it covers? From what I've seen it covers The Flashback Arc, but I want to know how much is changed and is it worth watching even if I read webtoon.
As the drama nearing the end, there is a high possibility that the judge is the one to plan and instigate Yoon…
One thing that bothers me from the start is how is it possible that all jury members were connected to HWC. Somewhere in the middle of the drama I thought that Sung Hoon was simply a culprit. Now it looks like Sung Hoon manipulated selection so Yoon Jae could become closer to the victims.
Sixth episode seems to be more interesting, but if it will keep the same schema I will just drop it. It's not worth it.
Also the kid is obnoxious.
