Hey so I did the same. First of all, thank you for reading and responding. I respect your opinion. I never said, I don’t understand why Jing was the one she ended up with. I understood her reasoning and what him as a character stood for. I just don’t think Deng Wei did a convincing job of portraying it. Especially, because in the novel Jing is supposed to be smart, capable and a strategist as well. In the drama, while they highlighted his emotional aspects, they never did justice to his cunning. As a result, he quickly became an unlikeable character to me and less superior in terms of both acting and character development.
