lol you quoted that like I did some crime I was trying to hide skkskks like yeah, I said all that. What of it? It just proves my point about the trigger.
My way of enjoying shows is roasting and poking fun at characters I love. When they give me emo, spiderman meme energy on the bedside as they stand uselessly while a whole ass demon blood drop zaps in a dude's head, I'd call it as I see it. When I am given a BANGER episode with found family energy on an all time high, I'll appreciate it just the same.
Since when do fictional characters need online lawyers for their defense. Just enjoy the show with the commentary you wanna do and let others do the same.
So much chemistry between all the characters with the BROMANCE really at an all time high. Zhou Yi Chen has definitely been my favorite character and in this ep, he just showed me all the reasons why. That effortless grace, class, unshakeable values, righteous without ever being boring, a pure badass, so vulnerable and broken and just an absolute PRESENCE on screen.
The love and friendship between him and our monkey demon is the best thing ever. I feel like the most powerful episode of the show was when ZYZ had the malicious energy overwhelm him and for a while everyone looked at him at a loss and he was there crying in the rain and Zhou Yi Chen found him, gave him that understanding, that reason to live, even though it was painful for him. And he covered him up with that cloak, that protection. And now, ZYZ has just returned the same silent camaraderie.
The endless empathy the two have developed for each other is a delight to see. Also, y'all got triggered when I called them a band of useless mofos skskksks but I say it with love. These characters are so SQUEEZE-able, I swear.
P.S Not Ying Lei being a human shield against all the vegetable attack. ;___;
P.P.S Not my lil monster Li Lun trying to girlboss, gaslight, gatekeep his way in every mess as usual, only to get the biggest dressing down ever. His sad villain boi tears made me giggle a bit. He is so snarky but inside he is just a lonely little child.
ANYWAY I LOVE, LOVE, LOVED THIS EPISODE
EVERY. SINGLY. TIME.
Like I am always 2 seconds away from swinging around my water bottle like it's my very own cloud light sword and flail around pretending I am also a secret martial artist cause WHY is that song so good?
I need it to be the soundtrack to my life like yesterday
And naurrr, don't go calling my Li Lun, king of petty and drama useless SMH. His sexy guyliner doesn't wing itself, now does it? That is USE enough
And so far all I see is my man Zhou Yichen waking up with those blue eyes with some REAL choke me daddy energy. Not all these dumbasses standing by his bed while someone literally broke in, broke his family heirloom and then slapped demon ass blood in him? LIKE WHAT LMAOOOOO and then all these useless mofos went back to whining about how sad they are about his condition. Yeah well NO THANKS TO ALL OF YOU. Tsk tsk.
Mans here literally be fighting all kinds of demons, saving his friends' asses, fighting his INTERNAL demons and having his poor sword broken like a cheap dollar store prop. If I was him, I'd be mad too XD (and this doesn't even mention the 5x ass beating he got in episode 23. My God the way he was being swung AROUND by daddy Li Lun still makes me wince)
Feminine rage has never been more delicious. This was so good on all ends.
Kang Bit Na really proved herself to be the oppa of all OPPAS.
Ugh, she was daddy AF. Such a wild ride of a show.
8.5/10
