Omg, don't get me wrong. I'm absolutely against reviews on dramas you haven't finished. And when I say that I mostly mean airing dramas. Seeing reviews on dramas that only have six episodes out makes me really miffed.

While personally, I haven't written reviews for dropped dramas (except Exo next door cause really that was just bad) I think if you've watched half of it then maybe there isn't much problem with writing one. I just post my ending thoughts on the feeds instead of reviewing in this case.

But I really like your idea about specific sections :D

It's definitely a great idea. Especially because it emphasizes on culture differences.

I'm slowly going through everything Kame's been in so maybe I'll stumble on that one too :D

Haha well, lemme just give a little bit of my own personal insight on the lower ratings questions. If I spent about more than six hours on a drama (watched six episodes) and had to drop because I still didn't like it, I'll give it a 1 or 2 or a 3 in some cases. Thing with me is that dropping dramas is not easy for me because I always keep wondering what if, had I given it more of a chance and watched till the end, it would've turned out good. This usually happens in the case of over-hyped dramas. Which is why I often force myself to watch some of these and at the end if I think that it still wasn't good enough then I give out a 4.

Recently I've reached to the point that I can't seem to force myself to watch so now I just drop and if it's at less than 4 episodes then I don't rate them

Also, I agree so much. I'm not going to lie I'm also a nitpicker but not to the extent that I watch a show solely to criticize it. I actually saw such a review on a 50 hour long show and the person gave it a one because of the silliest details. Like, if you're a K-Drama fan you got to have tolerance for certain things. If you don't like the hairstyle of a random eunuch in a historical, that doesn't mean the drama was bad. Smh

haha the heart always wins, I'm not going to lie. I also write down all the flaws there possibly were in the drama and explain them in my reviews but my ending rating reflects my personal enjoyment! ^^

That's what I do too sometimes. It's a good way to feel sure about your score!

Ah that's definitely a factor to be considered too. Sometimes you also wonder if you're rating the right way by comparing. Is giving this drama an 8.5 okay? Whe I rated a superior drama less than that at a particular time. The doubts, sigh, the doubts. We gotta be strong.

Omg I definitely can relate to that. It's so annoying when a drama is going good and you have such high expectations and then the writers decide now would be a good time to fuck it up. It annoys me so much and I hold grudges lmao ^^

Actually same, I also rate considering a number of factors and mostly I'm sure of my ratings but there are a few dramas where I keep swinging back and forth between deciding from the heart or the brain. lol

Yeah I guess with mystery dramas once you know everything that is going to happen, the appeal is lost. I don't rewatch them either
