It's a neverending battle I swear. I gave it a 7.5 for cinematigraphy, acting and OST and deducted the rest because of the writing.

I hope while you're in the learning process, you also learn what "criticism" actually means. Your comment in no way helps me better myself. Don't disguise your own personal butthurt under valid critique.
The entire purpose of this article was to explain how no "way of grading is wrong" because ratings reflect a viewers personal connection and enjoyment level and as you can clearly see a lot of people can relate.

Taking the time to leave negative comments on an opinion based article that someone wrote on the internet and nobody forced you to read also shows someone's maturity level. Don't humor yourself.

Aw, girl I understand you. I think that's my problem with ratings. In my reviews I can clearly explain what I loved and did not- like you said, I can conceptualize my feelings about a drama but the ratings are just a number and sometimes I wonder if I'm transcribing what I liked and didn't like into an equivalent score the right way.

On a side note, I really enjoyed your recent review on Oh My Ghostess but I feel like I literally spoiled the entire show for myself after reading it xD

I'm actually scared of rewatches for the exact same reason. I plan to re-watch Empress Ki in a while because it was a drama that I loved a lot, I even downloaded the entire series in HD but every time I plan to watch the first episode, I chicken out . lol At one hand I want to re-live the characters but on the other, like you said I don't want to lose the connection and just treasure my first viewing.
