This makes me so so happy because I really liked The Killer´s Shopping List. Im really looking forward to this drama, woohoo!!! Also happy to see Park Ji Bin here who also was in that drama. Loving the overall cast so far!! And both Ji Bin and Hye Joon were in Inspector Koo which is also one of my favorites. Highly recommend that series if you haven´t watched it yet, its on Netflix.
One of my favorite scenes in episode 2 is how Hae-e seemed so happy after going to Chi Yeol´s private class. Unlike her friend and many of the other students she knows that she struggles with math and decided to do something about it out of her own personal choice. The other students have been fuelled with this school pressure either because of their moms but they have been taught to look at other students as competition. Im glad that Chi-Yeol least have Dong Hee as someone who can keep up with his work life and also seems to be a personal friend to him too. Remember that one lady that works for him saying that Chi-Yeol was a "cappie" or a capitalist pig because he is only happy and charismatic with the students and the moms etc. It didnt seem that Dong Hee was agreeing to that and just like what Chi-Yeol said he eats less and sleeps less so that he can dedicate to instructing these students. And like yes he does it for money but he also has good intentions and want them to ace their exams and work their way towards this period of their life. That top student getting scolded by the teacher for working with the private academy work in his class was much deserved. She needed that piece of "humble pie". It was sad to see how the teachers felt jelaous of Chi-Yeol who actually can dedicate his career as a private instructor unlike them where they have other work to do beside teaching. Its sort of brought out the polscience student in me about this whole aspect of private verses public institutions and what kinds of benefits and quality one gets from them.
Yep, like when she complained to her mom how she didn’t like how pretentious Hae-e is, I was like “no, YOU’RE…
Right, I think deep down she is jelaous of Hae-e and really insecure. She seems like she doesnt have any friends or is so focused on being the top student and in constant competition to maintain that position. Maybe is the carefree-ness and how chill and different Hae-e is that makes her mistake her for being pretentious.
i am enjoying this drama but that misognystic boss character is getting on my nerves. Without him there its a pleasant watch so thats the only minus. If his character is going to be here until the end I need this man to shut up or get an extra beating by So Jung. Its weird how it paned out but im glad that So Jung stood up for herself in that fearless state her brain is in now. It does feel like the usual personality Sun Young´s other other dramas have so her timidness was kind of fresh ahah.
this drama & cheer up being avaliable on viki but not in my region is my villain origin story
right, like I have vpn but either way I would have to watch the drama through Kocowa since it won´t be available regionally on US viki without a subscription, and I already am a member. I think the first episode will be free on Kocowa and then I would have to use other sites for streaming which sucks:(
