It is clear that there is more to Eui Jung and Ki Chul's past, which will eventually be revealed as the drama progresses. Eui Jung's significant impact on Ki Chul after seeing her for the first time shows the possibility of deeper connections between them. For now, we only have a flashback of them in high school (and btw the casting of the younger version of them was perfect, accurate to how they look as adults), but im so excited and curious to see if there was a dark past in their relationship.
I gotta be one desensitized woman because I had no problem watching those graphic violence scenes lol. But I have to say I really liked the first three episodes and am very curious about how the story will unfold till the end. The suspense is high!!
The fact that her mom shows up to her place and she decides to hide the ML behind the curtain?? Girl, your house is big you could have just hidden him somewhere else lol. But obviously our man didn´t want that so we´ll see in the next episode. This show is like Forever Love, ridiculous plot with a delicious chemistry going on, but unlike in that one the subs are terrible here (as always expected from Mango).
Hiding, misunderstandings, disappointment... Why do they always have to make it sound so dramatic? XDHe is a grown-up…
I think is also just the culture there where idols have to remain loyal to their group thus if they decide to leave they´ll encounter a lot of backlash (kinda the case with Naeun where many of the pink pandas felt like she was betraying them for ending her activities with Apink last year).
At this point in his career, he has solidified his position as an actor, so the news came as no surprise (he has also dealt with health issues and had to sit out from some of the promotions and likely the reason for this decision. Either way I'm happy for him and grateful that I got to be part of two comebacks of him with SF9 (one in 2020 and this year). I wish him the very best in all his future endeavors.
Completed this little gem, and it was short and sweet. The show did an excellent job of subtly depicting gender roles and expectations, as well as highlighting the importance of communication in relationships. I think Yurika realized that she didn't want her passion to be diminished like her sister's, but if she had expressed her concerns to Kaoru, maybe the ending would have been different. Although Kaoru's behavior towards Yurika seemed disrespectful at times, it is evident that it was not deliberate. Overall, this series emphasizes the significance of being truthful about our feelings to prevent loneliness from escalating in our relationships.
If you´re in the mood for the reddest flag in a ML watch this. Truly, the things this man has done to the fl is irredeemable. And also that ending didn´t make any sense with the scene before. But you know what you sign up for when you watch this short series, and there is a reason why such plots are guilty pleasures because the only thing that kept me going was the sizzling chemistry between the leads lol. I literally rated this a 5 which is such an outlier from most of the dramas I watched this year.
Had an overall good watch, but I found it to be a bit draggy and boring in the end, and I didn't connect with the use of the murder trope, especially since we were left in the dark about the culprit's motives. I think a less integrated case could have been used instead. However, what kept me engaged was the chemistry between Hye Jin and Sooyoung, which was evident from the first episode. There are certain things that they would say or do that made me think "yup, they're not like others." But it created a unique and refreshing drama about the relationship between the mother and the daughter living up to its title.
