Pride & Prejudice?I would not call either male lead proud and arrogant, the big brother especially, he even refuses…
OP is referencing characters from a novel, not the traits of pride and prejudice LOL.
"She doesn't give a damn about traditional values, manners, social classes, and anybody else except friends and family members." -- This literally is an exact description of Elizabeth Bennet, the main FL of Pride and Prejudice, I'm sorry but this is so funny
I was sure this drama was on ep 14 or something because of how passionately everyone is hating on it, but it's on episode 6 and people are this angry. This is fun.
All of this could be true and that doesn't mean they're not honoring his memory by shedding light on an important issues. How can they be cashing in on his story when no one would even know the connections but for you guys spreading these posts calling out the tiny details? You're just a random fan of his, so what do you think gives you the right to gatekeep anything about him as if you somehow knew him? You liked his music and obsessed over his public persona--you did not know him, only those close to him knew the real person he was. If something needs to be said publicly let that be done by his family and friends, not some delusional fans. You're the one cashing in on his memory to try and make yourself feel important or relevant by stirring up drama that isn't even there.
Why are you assuming there's no rehabilitation in SK? Just think, use your brain.
If you want me to respond, you'll need to treat me with respect in your replies. Saying "use your brain" and "are you 12" are not respectful. If you can reply without using insults, I'm happy to continue this conversation.
In EO were not flash backs that was actually the other novel in the past were they all first encounter I still…
XU had like half an episode of historical flashback -- if you go to the page it is not have a genre of historical. Historical fantasy means it's based in history. AoS was not based on history. you can't use the word historical when it is not based on history. So no, it is not a "historical fantasy" just cause it "feels" like one?? So he has not yet been in one historical drama
Habitual drug use is very tied to untreated mental health disorders. Criminalizing drug use (vs organized drug distribution) is cruel and a way for governments to shift the blame towards and abandon vulnerable populations. Yoo Ah In is obviously struggling and needs psychiatric care and compassion rather than being branded as some shady drug addict. There are way more morally questionable stars in other Netflix dramas, and I'm really disappointed in Netflix for kow-towing to Korea and their punitive and harmful drug laws.
idc what anyone says this drama took me completely by surprise in how much i love it. it's FUN, I laughed out…
Okay I've seen a lot of comments here and other places saying it's not good and the ML Is boring?? I'm glad to hear not everyone feels that way cause I really wanted to start watching this
Just realizing this is Lee Jae Wook's first historical which doesn't seem right cause AoS feels like a historical and he had those flash backs in Extraordinary You . But I feel he was made for historicals. He is gonna do so well.
I wonder if he is being a little picky with his next role since he is on the rise, maybe he wants to find one that is really interesting to cement his star status more
He's more of a side role, he kinda does his own thing with Cha Hyun, but starting in ep 4 he's in it quite often.…
I made a video cut of just his scenes so I could watch it again without watching the whole series, it's like 2.5 hours total and essentially works as a standalone romance movie haha. You could honestly just FF to their scenes if you don't care about the main drama. You'd understand enough to enjoy it
OK, so the MDL brief is written rough shod.Half-bro and sis story build up is 'eeky - yucky' as a romance tale…
I've seen other descriptions where they're half-siblings AND she starts to fall for him only when she strongly suspects he's not even the real Hong Rang
The description on Asian Wiki makes it a lot more clear -- she is his step sister first of all, and second of all very soon after he comes back she comes to believe he's not even her step brother and that's when the romance takes off.
