I’m glad theres more nuance to why DH was so obsessed with killing her other than straight revenge—seems like Evil Papa Spirit is gonna keep getting her murdered by 30 every single re-incarnation anyway, and it’s the only way for them all to move on from this pattern repeating forever. DH’s so resigned to their miserable fate at this point I can see why he’s been so detached and single-minded and is only now starting to consider there could be an alternative.
aaah this is getting boring, I'm on episode 5 and jun ho before he got possessed was so fun lol
I still am engaged just cause the leads have good chemistry— but also I do wish the main dude would like shift in and out of his two characters cause that would be funny as hell. I do wanna see the depressed ghost have some sort of character development
The past story is sad as hell, but the modern story is weirdly lighthearted even tho it deals w death and ghosts and stuff? The ML is super doom and gloom but the female lead is fun, so even when he’s like trying to kill her it’s kinda funny and silly? Idk how to describe it.
There are a LOT of scenes between the main leads, and they have fantastic chemistry. The 2FL is super cliche and annoying but she’s not in it much
I have a feeling they got together just for fame. Like, isn't it weird how they broke up after just 2 months?…
Nah that's when a lot of yearly relationships either sink or swim, around 2-3 months. That's about when the infatuation period wears off for most and so if they were probably just not feeling it.
They shouldn't announce couples until they've reached like 5 months of dating or something
I don't really understand why people are always so interested in others life's,i am not well aware of them but…
I don't get that either. Like I don't really care what actors do in their personal lives or who they are dating or not. As long as they aren't doing anything criminal. It has no effect on how they act.
Ooh I didn't know he'd also be going back to Joseon! That'll be fun. I've not seen that in a drama before where they go back and forth between the past and future together
If I'm understanding right, dude is super petty. Like he slaughter her family, of course she's going to revenge…
But she pretended to fall in love with him for yeaaaars and played the long game and now he's been trapped floating in nothiingness for 1500 that's a lot of time to let a grudge settle lol
I haven't watched Korean dramas for a long time because I haven't come across a different and well-written script…
I agree the execution has been really good -- the way they've worked in the past scenes, the way they build up the intensity and conflict, have been so good.
Okay the first two eps were better than I thought? The plot is super interesting and I really wanna see what happened in the past that lead her to end up killing him, and excited to watch him fall in love with her again and forgive her in the present. They're striking a nice balance between humor, romance, horror. The chemistry between them both in the past and present is LIGHTENING.
The episodes went by really fast and I was engaged from the start.
Kim Dae Young is doing a good job, he's bringing more weighty intensity than I've seen in the past from him, and his transitions from the idiot actor to the evil possessed killer are seamless. He's def improved and I'm enjoying him a lot in this role. So far he's hit every note perfectly.
I wish they'd give more for Pyo Ye Jin to do. She's stunning and a great actressl but it's hard to connect to characters who are too perfect and good. I love her conflicted character in the past and hope we get so see more shades of her character in the present.
This plotline seems exactly the same as the first one? I loved the first season but I don't wanna just see the same thing happen again where the quiet dude stands up to the school bullies by being brutal and inventive.
I have fallen madly in love with Ryeoun over the course of like 3 weeks watching Twinkling Watermelon I will watch him read the newspaper.
I am so thrown off by the main actresses overdone plastic surgery. Especially because it's a Saguek and she is supposed to be a naturally-aged woman in the past but is trying to look 30 in her 50s.
She is an excellent actress and I like the drama a lot, but I am constantly pulled out of the story by how little her face moves and when it does you can see strange lines and folds from where she's gotten overdone fillers, botox, and other lifting procedures. She can't properly emote because of it.
It is truly sad that women are not allowed to age naturally. She would be just as stunning with wrinkles and lines natural to her age--even moreso IMO. It def takes away from my immersion and enjoyment of the story.
The trailer is chaotic....seems like it's gonna be fun..can't wait
I love when the FL is whacky and the ML has a stick up his ass. RW does great making straight man characters funny and interesting. It's gonna be super fun
I am on the fence as to if I should watch this one. If both of them can not remarry, then will they (female lead…
I'm sure there's some loophole they'll find in the end, at the very least they could run off and live somewhere new where they're not known. But I love the idea of a secret romance budding. Those are always fun and steamy
There's a guilty pleasure in disliking things other people like, so sometimes when a drama is SO loved and you're just not that into it, it feels good to HATE it lol. And to add a vote to this list (I sure added a few!). Makes one feel superior. Human nature.
