She's one of those actresses that plays a character as written rather than adding in her own layers (like Rowoon did with his character to elevate it a bit). I like her and think she's a good actress, but DWY's writing for the FL was shiiiiite. So I'm hoping for good writing here, cause she can knock out a character that's written well.

jae wook is one of those actors who could play anywhere from 20s to 30s, he's played all different ages and types. He did an amazing job across Da Hee in WWW. I was barely aware of the age gap because they were so great together, and she's 13 years older than him.

He's more of a side role, he kinda does his own thing with Cha Hyun, but starting in ep 4 he's in it quite often. But honestly so worth it--one of his best performances. He plays a very bright, sweet and gentle character and does so with charisma. Shows his range. The romance was my fav part of the show.

Love the fresh take of having a married couple as the leads--so rare in the romance genre. Looking forward to a different kind of story.

I like her but she ends up playing the same style of character in every drama -- the independent, logical, no-nonsense, kind but emotionally lukewarm female lead. I haven't seen her play a different role maybe ever. Hoping she brings something new to this role.

They should have kept this a lighter drama focusing on all the different cases he took--the revenge plot was too heavy and convoluted and took all the magic and spark out of every character involved. The random side plot with the sister was out of nowhere and fell so flat and the FL, who was fun and spunky at the beginning, lost her soul inexplicably and just walked around dead-eyed and robotic the whole second half. It has been a long time since I've seen a drama that started so promising deteriorate so fully. Like, this could have been one of my favs of all time but I had to force myself to finish for WDH.

WDH has amazing comedic timing. LIke he's done a lot of serious dark guy roles, but he is legit hilarious. Cannot wait. And Oh Jusg Se is a legend. IDK the FL lead but if she was chosen along with this amazing cast I will trust

Like, insanely good. So much better than with Joy so it was hard to even root for the main couple lol. I have been praying for them to be leads together for years. Literally watched the drama for those two and MinJae

He seems to struggle to pick good drama projects, which is a shame cause he's a fantastic actor. I still can't believe he slayed the performance as the Qin Emperor at the age of 24.

I liked it and was happy I watched it. I would totally watch it again. You can't really think of it like a part 2, just think of it like another Chinese drama. It has a totally different plot and feel from the first. But it has a good story and I enjoyed the relationships and the acting.

The fact that this show is still ranked #6 of all dramas after 8 years is such a testament to its greatness.

She did some underhanded shit, but it was only ever in response to Grandpa Puppetmaster trying to force her out of the position. She also helped Tae Ha at times and wasn't willing to actually hurt the company to win. Was she just supposed to step aside and let him take over through Tae Ha?

Last week when she hesitated slashing the portrait of Tae Ha's mom and had the saddest look on her face I started to wonder if there was way more to that backstory -- and then I was like, what did this woman actually do that wrong? She was doing a good job as CEO and was just trying to hold onto her position and had to be ruthless going up against a ruthless man who was trying to take her down to put his grandson in her place. Was she just supposed to step aside and let the evil man win?

Loving the upbeat role for IU --she has played a lot of dark, cold characters in her past few roles. Looking forward to it.

I see a lot of people going off about Kim Young Dae (me, I'm one of them, he's amazing). But PYJ is sooo good in this! I've never seen her before, but she has played this dual role really well. A less capable actress may have tried to make Ri Ta and Yong Hwa polar opposites to emphasize that she is playing someone different, but she did not overplay their differences so much as just embody two different characters. It was very well done. And she has had so so so many extremely emotional scenes and delivers every time.

The scene at the end of ep 12 where he is back hugging her, ISTG kim young dae was not even acting at that point, he seemed very moved by her performance in that moment and the tears were just flowing for him. She brings out the best in him.

Will def keep an eye on her in the future.

My jaw is literally open at that first one. The chemistry is SIZZLING. Especially in the past scenes. That's like one of the best parts of the show for me.

this is KYJ's best performance I've seen from him. And the FL actress is fantastic. Her character got kind annoying at the end.

It gets draggy at points but never enough that I didn't enjoy each ep, and I don't think it will be as noticeable if you binge it.

I have been telling all my friends to watch this one. It' will be a great binge watch.
