I'm not sure why the rating isn't higher, this show was actually really well rounded and enjoyable and the ML's…
It's like we didn't watch the same thing, they looked so uncomfortable to me. The boss is flirting and all but Jun is not responsive at all, he looks intimidated and awkward most of the time. Didn't see any chemistry :/
(Reminder: Episode 28 - Right after they won the war against Liang, Jiu Si is appointed Deputy. The couple is…
I don't know why they love killing good characters so much in Cdramas. It doesn't really make it more realistic, just more tragic. Most of the time I end up having mixed feelings about the ending: it's supposed to be a happy ending but it required so many sacrifices for that to happen that it's bitter-sweet. Thanks for answering, I'll probably watch the rest as you made me curious about that 'best happy ending' ^^

(Reminder: Episode 28 - Right after they won the war against Liang, Jiu Si is appointed Deputy. The couple is finally really together. Everyone important is still alive ^^)
I'm watching episode 28 and I kinda really want to stop here. I love where the story is now, but I can already see all the drama coming with the uncle and all. I hate it when they just decide to kill every great characters in the last couple of episodes for no good reason. Is it really worth it to keep watching?
I dropped it at episode 18. I had put it on hold for a couple of weeks but I didn't feel the urge to finish it I usually have when I really like a drama. I had heard many good things about it so perhaps I had too many expectations. It was just too slow-paced for me and I didn't get hooked by the story. But both lead actors were really good.
4.5/10 - I dropped it at episode 5. I already knew the plot would be boring at best, but it just doesn't make any sense. The acting is average but the worst part is the dialogues: most of the things they say don't even make sense and the scenes are uncomfortable to watch, they just look very awkward to me.
Does someone know how the black hair-white hair work? In other dramas I've seen, it usually happens after someone has used too much of their cultivation at once. But I'm confused about why it happened here ... and how it got black again at the very end.
As I said, for me being professional doesn't mean taking bullshit. That letter was gross and is considered sexual harassment. I wouldn't blame anyone who would be angry and offended by that type of behavior and acted on it. Definitely not the best reaction, true, but understandable in my opinion. Which is why I isolated that incident in my comment as the situation was different. Also, that was 7 years ago when she was just a rookie, it doesn't excuse everything but I wouldn't hold something that happened 7 years ago to a woman who was harassed by a client ... Clearly she matured a lot since then and learned how to better deal with rude customers as we saw many other times after that. I maintain that I don't see anything bad or inconsistent with the rest of her behavior, it's called 'growth'. And since you haven't been able to give not one example (that I hadn't already mentioned) of her supposed unprofessionalism, I guess you don't have anything else.
Nope, I'm not "blinded" toward the FL, I appreciate her work ethic and dedication, and like her personality.
It's okay that we disagree 🤷 I'm not here to convince anyone, I gave my opinion and developed when asked, just like you did. It's supposed to be a conversation, not a fight. It's not really necessary to be so dramatic about it and delete comments but feel free to do as you please ...
Wrong, when I said 'misunderstanding' I was talking about the first encounter when she thought he had sent that offensive letter. He WASN'T her boss then. After that, she was never 'rude' to him in my opinion. Not sure what you're talking about when you say she was unprofessional. It's funny that you're mentioning 'double standards' when, so far, it's the ML the one who has trouble separating private and professional life. For example, him hanging around her era of work just to watch her work. How is that professional?? FL is actually trying to remind him to keep his distance. What a joke ^^ Maybe we really aren't watching the same drama Lol 🙃
I had a hard time to keep going. FL was really annoying and ML was a jerk for the most part. Not the kind of drama I like, it also probably aged badly ^^
You know, i really like this thing when dramas have 12 episodes, cuz most of the time its just dragging the plot…
I think in order to have another 4 interesting episodes, they would have had to create a new drama, such as a dumb break up at ep 13 and a grand make up final at ep 15-16, like they usually do. I personnaly like it the way it is.
I did like this drama but I did find the whole “people will die if you tell them about your past lives” so…
I agree it wasn't necessary. They could have just made it so that this would be the last time where she could remember her past lives, as she let go of her hatred and lifted her curse. Why did she have to forget them? 🤷
Loved it, it was fun and original. It's only 12 episodes but it's the perfect amount. I especially loved the FL's relationship with her 'niece', they were so cute ^^ The cast was perfect for it.
Uhm, we only have 16eps lawl. And with so much going on, delay any further = we wouldn’t get all these organic…
I guess I've been watching too many C-dramas recently, I'm kinda used to 40ish episodes where nothing happens before ep 15 😄. But even for a K-drama it's going pretty fast. True, I am loving those sweet moments ^^
Wow you like slow burns well I hate slow burns, but they’ll crash and burn soon because if they get a relationship…
Okay? It's true that dramas aren't the most realistic, which usually lead to really funny situations. But I personaly like the characters' personalities to make at least a little sense and be consistent to enjoy it. Everything doesn't need to be 'realistic' but the story has to somehow make sense. Here, as I said the change was a little sudden, but I'm still enjoying the show ^^
