I can handle a lot for Xu Kai lol, but she's making it hard to like the actual show 😄

This is probably gonna be my favorite drama of the year and I'm only 2 episodes in... I really hope it will have a happy ending. The story is interesting and the casting great.

I don't think that was his "true colors". People's character are defined by their experiences, surrounding (relationships/friendships) and choices.
In his first life, Yan Lin only became cruel and mean after being used and betrayed by the one woman he thought he could trust (he says it at one point), of course he couldn't stay as innocent and kind as he used to...

They're supposed to be Immortals: although they do die at some point, they have very long lives. I think in 'Eternal love' the FL was at least 90 000-100 000 yo (I don't remember her actual age).

The FL had 2 other love interest and the ML was 'harassed' by 2 other women. But no real love triangle

Very different, but both are interesting and well done.

She also admires his skills but it's true that personality wise he's kind of a douch :/

I hope the FL will get back at him for all the embarassment and rudeness he put her through. Really not a fan of the ML so far, I look forward to see him begging when he finally finds out ... 😈

There's a difference between being cold VS being plain disrespectful and rude :/ Just answering when someone is greeting you is basic good manners, especically in the workplace environement.

The actor is 18 years older, 25/43 that's way too much... I was really uncomfortable when he kissed her out of nowhere the first time, felt wrong. I stopped watching at ep 9 after the stalking... at his old age seriously ? No thanks :/

The bickering was funny at the start but I really couldn't get behind the relationship. The age gap was really too weird, especially the way he was so controlling already when they weren't even in a relationship - not that he could be even if they were, but here it was even more uncalled for. Using his position to get closer to her, stalking her??

I was gonna say! He's so rude and uncivilized for no reason. Even just answering when someone is greeting you is the bare minimum of politeness and he can't even do that 🙄

Is it his choice to only do short dramas? If yes did he explain why?

I usually like happy endings too but I'm not too sad about that one: the way they ended it was tragic but also super romantic (?)

But what a kiss though ^^

Well the story ended when they drank the poison. The last 2 episodes were just a recollection of what happened before.

Richard Li really has some of the best kissing scenes I've seen, no matter who the FL is, he always delivers ^^
