I normally don't care about ratings but how did it go from 7.1 to 7.5 in just a couple of hours? LOL, people are…
Iām very much enjoying it in a very verbal way š Our shy viewers will likely comment soon. Or theyāre living vicariously through our comments š No shade
Thos show is so sexy and I'm ABSOLUTELY HERE FOR IT! Question, are Jun and Thai biological brothers?
Nope. Close family friends most likely. Thai was asked to watch over Jun. He treats him and views him like a little brother. Sorn DEFINITELY doesnāt though š
I am confused. Is Jun related to any of them or? Even though hia is not seclusive to relatives, the subtitles…
Brother is just what they call older males. Hia or Pā means older (Pā is gender neutral). Itās a title of respect. Many Asian cultures have one. Korea uses Hyung for close older/younger male relationships. China and Taiwan use Ge (or da ge). Japan uses -Senpei (most similar to Hyung and Pā/Hia).
In Thai subtitles, just assume they may not be actually related unless you see them live with each other and have the same parents (which friends may also call the equivalent of Mom and Dad, to add confusion). Some subtitle translators replace the title with their name for clarity, but most donāt.
None of them are actual siblings in this show. Jun and his family are likely very close with Thaiās family, so he was asked to watch over Jun.
Sorn is already falling for Jun. Sorn must have had feelings for Jun for so long. He's even getting a bit possessive…
When actors use tongue, itās way more realistic. I donāt know why thereās this unspoken rule to keep tongues out of it and to add only or mostly neck kisses in NC scenes. Boss and Noeul were the exception because they have little boundaries when it comes to their kissing and NC scenes.
oat is 30 yo? omg he is just a innocent rabbit in the series...
He does NOT look it! He barely looks 20 to me. Cast well for this role. Thereās another series happening now where the actor is older but plays 20 and does NOT look 20 at all. I dropped it because I couldnāt get past it, regardless of chemistry.
Sorn is sneaky af. Aināt no way he hasnāt already caught feelings for Jun. Bro is lowkey down bad and not even really trying to hide it. I actually took time to watch the ending credits scenes and Iām happily anticipating this storyās progression. Not really that interested in the second couple tbh. I donāt feel the chemistry and it feels like Yoonās character is identical in mannerisms to his characters Ungorgotten Night. His expressionless face and body language reminds me of Ohm (āUntil We Meet Againā Ohm). Just my opinion. Iāve been largely skipping his scenes with PunPun after halfway through E1.
While Boat is still a little stiff, he has a magnetism to him that keeps me interested. Maybe because he reminds me of Boss playing Payu (saw this quickly in E1). Since LITA was my first BL (I know. dive into the deep end), I have a soft spot for Boss and Payu-like characters. Heās kinda sneaky and manipulative toward his naive and innocent younger love interest, but in a way that entertains the hell outta me. The whole kiss/helping hand lessons will definitely evolve into a full course if he has his way. Thankfully, it looks like he will be challenged to show more of his hand (possessive and jealous Sorn to the max? Yes please!) by another love interest who looks like heās earnestly courting Jun from the ending credits scenes. Iām here for the moment Sorn comes clean with Jun. And I love a bumbling ML like Jun paired with an alpha vibe like Sorn. Junās character makes me happy even if his naivety sets him up to fall for all Sornās snares. I think heās liked Sorn without realizing it since their first sexual encounter. I am curious about this relationship between Sorn and Penny though. Is it a cover or something? It doesnāt really seem like theyāre into each other; just using each other.
In any event. I look forward to Sunday mornings for the next 8 weeks. š
I donāt know. After E1, Iām not sure how to feel. it wasnāt horrible, but wasnāt good either. Just meh. Itāll probably get better when the story picks up. It felt a little disjointed and like it was full of brand new actors and a new director. (To me, anyway.) Iām not ready to give up on it yet, but itās a 5/10 for me rn. I felt bad for Kong and Sun though. And Peace because his dad is an ass. JiHoon needs to get his karma for starting shit like that.
Episode 1 didn't quite grab me but I have hope. The English dubbing over the Korean(?) dad was A Choice.
OMG YES! Iām watching now and had to pause to come here and see if anyone else noted how bad that English dubbing is. I wish they wouldāve just spoken in Korean and just subtitled it. The English is so awkward. I know from the way their lips are moving that theyāre speaking in English, but I think it wouldāve been better if they spoke in Korean. Wouldnāt you speak in your native language with your parent, no matter what country youāre in? This is gonna bother me the whole series, I think.
Chemistry was definitely lacking and the clear aversion the two had with intimate scenes distracted from the message of the story. It all ended up feeling lukewarm. I actually ended up rooting for Yoichi and the model guy because it seemed like they had better chemistry- they appeared more comfortable around each other than Sakurai and Yoichi- whose awkwardness didnāt feel like forbidden love or whatever, but true discomfort between actors.
So the age gap is a little odd because of how wide it is, but thatās not what bothered me because love really doesnāt care about age. I can easily get over age gaps when the chemistry and story is there. My main issue with this is the CLEAR awkwardness between the two and how you could tell they had an aversion to kissing each other. Awkward, uncomfortable, and that last farce was downright comical with the way he closed his eyes first and then tilted his head so mechanically like he was reciting his movements in his head to distract from the reality of kissing a man again. It was unmistakable, really. Just omit those parts if the actors canāt do it. Even when āYoichiā leans on āSakuraiāsā shoulder, his whole body is stiff, like heās barely trying to touch him and canāt wait for the director to yell āCut!ā
The story itself was good, especially the flower symbolism. With actors who have better chemistry and less hang ups with kissing the same sex in a role they agreed to play (especially after reading the script and knowing there would be romance and kisses), this would have been SO much better. It distracts from the story and fails to sell this romance and subsequent blooming of our flower ML. I wonder how they were off screen. Awkward still most likely.
On another note, Watanabi looks like our Jin from BTS. I was like, āSeokjin! I found your doppelgƤnger!ā š
suho woke up but baekjin died šEither heās faking his death or that CEO guy killed him. But this is so sad
I think he repented and was accepted by Baku and Si-Eun. Maybe he tried to close down the CEOās business with evidence and law, but the corrupt police told the CEO again so the CEO had him taken out. Thatās my guess. Season 3 please!
I knew it! I knew theyād drag HeeSu and SeongWonās happy to the last episode. Frustrating af though. After E9, I feel validated in my prediction.
I said a week ago: āI have a feeling these two might confess at the same time in Episode 10. The whole asteroid colliding thing. Episode 9 is Seoung Won stressing over who Hee Su may like now and Hee Su stressing about whether he confesses or keeps secretly liking Seoung Won like he did with Chanyoung for years.ā

Jin in a drama would be amazing! Comedy/emotion roles would SLAP frfr
I wanted to watch more of Tsurugi but I checked his filmography and he has nothing since this aired.
