Which is Kazuto, I think. I wonder why he chose Shun for the truck when their convo was friendship based. I imagine them reading all these comments everywhere after experiencing everything and knowing the end result.

Perhaps episodes 7-10 will show Shun changing for Dai now that competition has arrived to threwated what Shun thought was secure. Hard to judge based on the snippets we see. Maybe Dai will help him feel more secure, since that’s what he said he needs. Someone who makes him feel secure and someone with strong will. Dai definitely has the latter. I think we haven’t seen all there is to see in Shun yet. A month is a long time.

There are no red flags. Just guys trying to find love under unique conditions.

No. I think he is drawn towards Dai but will gravitate towards Kazuto. Based on the future flashes during his interview. The baseball cap is a clue and Dai doesn’t wear that cap, but Kazuto does.

The waiting is the worst part

Yes. Compared to the time for 1-3, 4-6 were too short with more screen time for the hosts. Unbalanced. I hope 7 & 8 have an hour plus like before. I think they stopped the episodes when they did for drama but since they released 3 at a time, it seems pointless. By Usak’s comment in episode 6, it’s been about 2 weeks, but we need those kinds of clues to find out the time passing so I agree with you that a more clear time indicator would be nice.

And this week’s episodes definitely left me feeling dazed and confused like the opening song. Also a bit anticipatory for 7-8. I need 7 days to pass quickly.

They do! His friend was watching the episodes and reviewing them in a post and made sure to make that clear that they were friends. I was thinking we got a huge spoiler too until he said it so decisively.

Totally. Otherwise the social medial spoilers would reduce ratings for the show. I didn’t watch His Man 2 for a long time because I saw their YouTube channel before I knew who they were. I already knew the ending. I only watched the season this week because I was going through The Boyfriend withdrawals and had already watched episodes 1-3 too many times to say without sounding obsessive.

What? I know he posts pics with him and his best friend. They’ve both been VERY clear that they’re only friends and not dating on their shared YouTube channel.

He’s DEFINITELY jealous but can’t recognize it. Maybe because he hasn’t had to experience it before. He’s been pursued and he admitted that in his last relationship his partner really loved him. I think this is his first experience with what he’s feeling now and it’s shaken him up. His body language speaks so much louder than his words of denial.

And him calling Dai over just to push his hand away? Bro is slowly and cautiously inching his way to Dai but Ikuo will force him to move faster I think.

I agree. There isn’t a single man I dislike, unlike another reality show currently airing. They all have my heart a bit, though Shun and Kazuto have more space in it 😉. I want them to succeed on the show.

He makes a few comments about a month or so after I estimate (simply based on gaps in posts etc and production/editing time) the show finished taping (last year): Post from August 30, 2023, But the one from Sept 12, 2023 and Sept 23, 2023 had me feeling like he was dealing with the emotions of not connecting with his chosen person in the show…. He also posts on Nov 17, 2023 some picks obviously taken by Ikuo in episode 6.

But then Shun started liking some of his posts after the September posts so who tf knows honestly? I’m still hoping. I can’t help myself.

Doubt it. I bet they wouldn’t have been able to be on the show if that were true. And it’s an odd post to make out of nowhere.

Can I say that what is MOST surprising for me is that Shun isn’t more popular with the guys as a love interest. Was it because he was so reserved but open to what he needed in the beginning? Or was it because they clearly saw Dai had staked a claim and it appeared reciprocated?

I thought for sure we would see the post coffee truck kiss between Shun and Dainfrom the trailers. Seems more promising for them that kisses happen later in the episodes though. Probably the last two. Seems like that would be the best draw for us desperate DaiShun fans. Though just seeing them like JunSeung and SeungHo in His Man 2 being all cute and lovey-dovey post-mutual affection affirmations would draw me like a bee to honey/moth to flame… I need them to reveal pictures of them together on IG after the last 2 episodes air. There are comments from Dai in his posts that make me wonder though. Makes me kinda wish I didn’t find and follow him. Because my heart and mind are warring with each other over it.

Usak leaving?! I bet Kazuti would have chosen him if he had more time because he was the most peaceful and least pushy of the 3 interested parties. I think the look of disappointment on Kazuto’s face wouldn’t have been so deep if it had been any of the others who liked him that were leaving.

Based on the hat from the future flashes, I think Ikuo expressed feelings for Kazuto. It’s his hat emblem we often see Kazuto wearing. I also think Dai is chastising Ikuo in the previews. I doubt he’d do that to Shun because he’s so into him. Not in front of others he wouldn’t.

I think Gensei will eventually say what he feels more clearly. I also think Dai and Shun will be together, but that’ll be largely because Shun made the next move past that friend zone. Poor Shun can’t admit that his frustration and annoyance is jealousy. The green monster is riding his shoulders hard.

What about Taeheon and Alan? Alan has been friend-zoned. Taeheon hasn’t clearly stated who he likes, if anyone. He’s pretty passive thus far. Does he like Kazuto? Is he gonna go for Ikuo? And Alan handled that rejection so well, like Dai did with Shun. Shun needed space to feel closer and Dai was moving too fast. Kind of like how Alan was with Kazuto. Though a night alone with Sun and Dai will likely end differently than Alan and Kazuto, I think, especially since more time will have passed and the threat of Ikuo will likely propel Shun to take more risk for what he wants but has been to hesitant/reluctant to take. Sometimes you gotta get uncomfortable to get what you need.

Yes Dai and Ikuo get along well, but it seems more like friends than romantic. Dai seems comfortable with him in that way and was not touchy with him like he was with Shun early on. Maybe Dai is needing that comfort to cover his feelings for being zoned by Shun. The burden would be lighter with someone who doesn’t know his pursuit of Shun.

This was a tough 3 episodes. Not sure I can rewatch them obsessively like I did 1-3. Maybe I’ll just live in 1-3 until next Tuesday. My heart doesn’t want to handle all the downs episodes 4-6 dealt me.

why do I have to wait another WEEK?! This past week was SO long.

OMG you’re so on point with this! I dropped Sunset and Century has 1 more episode to draw me because I LOVE Daou-Offroad but these storylines… I’m trying not to take Century seriously so I can enjoy it more for what it is, but with so many good series coming out, it’s hard. So far Century gets a 3-4 for me and Sunset- well, I dropped it after 1 episode so 1. Love Sea is at least a 7 for me because I love FortPeat and Mut’s character. It goes up just for Meena too. 🥰 I can’t stand the GL leads, especially Muk- she drops the rating like I drop toxic people.
