I wasn’t sure if I’d like this drama because it seemed like a martial arts video game made real life to me and I wasn’t sure if I’d like that style because I’m not really into video games. It is (to me) like a martial arts video game and I do really like it. I like it A LOT. I’m immersed in this world and sold on the story and genre. I want more. Who sold me? Dongjun’s character. And his ride or die friendships with Ye Yun and Changfeng. As a Scorpio born in the year of the Dog, I vibe with this kind of loyalty in friendships.
Dongjun’s interactions with every character has me smiling. Him drunk is hilarious. Him drinking with Master Li? Love it. I also can’t wait to see the progression of friendship between him and Changfeng (played by Zhi Guang- who I first saw in The Spirealm, which I loved). I’m only on episode 12 after binging 1-12 yesterday. I’ll be waiting until the end of the week to binge more episodes because I will be frustrated to wait for each release I think. I hope I can last that long though.

I had to go rewatch this for the upteenth time after an IG reel. I LOVE Park Jihoon in this drama. His acting was seriously the best. He plays his role so well in both this drama and At a Distance, Spring is Green. WHC1 is such a good drama. I don’t know why it isn’t even more well known than it is. His on screen chemistry with Choi Hyun Wook was so good. Like, I need them to act again together soon. This level of friendship depicted in this drama was next level.
Can we talk about PJH’s pretty smile? He doesn’t smile for 99.9% of the drama, but that 0.1% is something. He definitely smiles more in At a Distance, Spring is Green (so damn pretty). I am SO looking forward to WHC2 in January, I can’t take it. And because I know WHC2 is gonna be just as good, I am already impatient for WHC3.
I started watching this drama today and I’m binging my way through. I’m in episode 15 and have been sucked into this world. I wish I came later to it so k can binge all 40 in one go. Thankfully it looks like they release a new episode or two every night, so there’s that small blessing.

Shameless product promotions is why I struggle with GeminiFourth series. There’s WAY too much, like a ridiculous amount. It’s like GMMTV uses that cp for promo only. It’s frustrating because I love them, but it’s hard to watch their series because of all the product promotions, both between parts and in episodes. I hope 4 Minutes keeps it lowkey because I didn’t notice/pay attention at all. Maybe I accidentally skipped it?

There was NO prep. Tonkal told Korn to “fuck [him] raw.” At first I thought that meant no condom, but then Korn put that on…So raw meant no prep. Yikes!

Ulissey- I agree with all of your points. I totally felt like Tonkal was hiding something (other than the obvious thing he covered when Korn walked in). I thought, is he using Korn or does he have feelings for him? He didn’t really let go during the NC scene like Korn did. I was analyzing the hell outta this scene of these two after the first watch.
I am curious about Korn’s focus on Great’s smoking habit. Wondering how significant it is to the story.
So many curiosities. It’s interesting that people are only focusing on the NC scene and the sex used to promote the series. Sex sells. Especially in BL series. I came for the sex (if that isn’t an unintentional pun…) but am staying because the story intrigues me and the scriptwriter wrote two other dramas I enjoyed a lot.

Right?! The clues she dropped help so much to understand what’s going on. I wonder if they will meet while he’s trying to figure out what’s happening to him and why (though the first few minutes give us one hell of a clue). I’m pretty sure I have the what and part of the why down. Now I want details and to see how it all plays out!

I wonder if Bas was uncomfortable or anxious filming THAT scene with Fuaiz because of Fuaiz’ age at filming would’ve been 18-19 to his 26-27. I know you’re legally a minor until 20, despite age of consent in Thailand. Either way, Fuaiz visuals are WOW and that scene was bold af. The BTS and workshops must’ve been something else!
