Love Is like a Cat is one of Hanyang Studio's four joint Thai-Korean BL projects, from the same WeTV Original…
Peqch of Time did the cultural collaboration better, I think. I’m sure Wuju Bakery will do better, too. (I need it to because the wait can’t be for nothing- I refuse to believe it!). I didn’t hear of the other two you mentioned. Time to do some searching. Thanks!
As another commenter said and I agree with- P’Uno is supposed to be working and living in Korea but doesn’t speak a word of it? And a company that works with Thai actors speak zero Thai? Thai well as his estranged father who managed to have a child with a Thai woman? Also, how does the pet daycare guy understand Uno? Or is it just a vague sense he has based on body language?
Alao, what’s with his dad’s secretary calling him P’Uno when he’s clearly younger? Uno-kun would make more sense if she’s using honorifics.
Definitely a cultural disconnect here.
Side note…The vet looks like he has some Japanese in him, or is it just me? I didn’t look up his stats yet.
So far, not much really happening. With 2 15 min episodes released at a time, they might have well made it 6 30 min episodes instead of 12. I’m hoping it picks up in the next episodes. I really want this Korea/Thai collab to work.
For someone to understand another language, surely one would have learned a few phrases of that language. Maybe…

OMG I just finished ep1 and I love the chemistry between Sea and Keen💗They don’t feel like novice actors…you know, with the awkward pauses and physical touch. It is conveyed very naturally. I love their characters Kang and Moo already I’m looking forward to seeing how their relationship develops and grows.
How are there only 2 episodes left but it feels like nothing is resolved at all? This is dragging on and on and on. Honestly, the only reason why I’m watching this at this point is the visuals Fluke gifts us with. I ended up forwarding through most of it, bit by bit. ☹️ I hope they get it together for ep7 because seriously…
For English fans, I just searched and the My Beautiful Man manga books 1 and 2 will be available to purchase on Amazon mid-July and mid-October this year. You can preorder them now!
I love this series + movie and have rewatched each of them many many times. It’s one of my comfort series. There’s just something about Japanese BLs that pull you in and give you a warm hug. Yagi Yusei is definitely beautiful. The on-screen chemistry Yagi and Hagiwara have is magnetic!
I had high hopes, but I’m halfway through episode 2 and I keep minimizing the screen to see how much is left.…
OMG same! The first 3 minutes of ep2 with the very clear fake “panic” from the ML even though the other ML is wearing VERY clearly fake vampire teeth… I’m ready to drop because I can’t right after finally finishing Weak Hero Class 1.
After downloading a VPN app and an internet search for Netflix Thailand, I was able to see this show in my US-installed Netflix app and finally watch Ep1. I love the visuals, of course (Fluke is 😍🫶🏽), and look forward to next week’s episode. I will say that this first one is a little slow with scenes they could have cut out or shortened as unnecessary, especially with the long pauses in dialogue between characters that aren’t natural in real life conversations. But it’s still way better than A Secretly Love so far. I’m still reserving my opinion on 1000 Years Old. I have a feeling it’s gonna be kinda cheesy but in the good way some Thai BLs are.
if they release an episode a week (or even a day) with 1 min duration…I’m done. like who wants to be on the hook for 1 min updates every day/week? why do these companies decide to do things like this? just record it like a short film and release. or split into 2 episodes and done.
Question. Did anyone else feel like the last episode was a little rushed? I kinda felt like they could have developed the ending into a couple more episodes at least. I didn’t have the same connection as I’ve had for every episode before it. Maybe it’s just me, though. I mean, I liked the ending, but I needed more connection to it. It wasn’t unforgettable nor did it linger on my mind past the ending credits.
