Exactly, RMPW was my first JDrama I dont like Ogury as much as the Ishihara , but when I knew they were making…
Exactly I think people tend to forget that although the premise is the same every thing else is different. To compare a drama that happen in 2012 to a drama that is airing now in 2018 is just crazy to me. I like both Oguri & Ishihara, RMPW was the drama that introduced me to both of them but I understand that they are veterans in the acting game to compare them to Suho ( whose only had one main role before this) & Ha Yeon Soo ( whose had four main roles before this) is crazy. I ‘m in for this remake just to see the actors take on their characters & the plot twist.

I think the downfall of this drama is that a lot of people are comparing it to the Japanese version & that is why the comments are so negative. Now don’t get me wrong the Japanese version is one of my favorite Jodramas & Oguri Shun is one of my fav Japanese actors but I was lucky enough to go into this version without knowing it was a remake ( you would have thought the name gave it away) so my opinion is completely unbiased. I think that it very bleh .. it’s not good but it not bad . I don’t have any complaints about Suho as the ML...is he a bad actor to me, no, is he the best ,no. To be honest the only thing that is keeping me interest in this drama is trying to figure out how the main leads know each other. Other then that would I say it’s the best drama , no, would I say it’s the worst , no , it’s really base on what you want out of it. To those that have seen & love the original version I wouldn’t recommend watching this or if you do don’t expect it to be like the original . For those who haven’t seen the original try it you may love it you may hate it.. I would also recommend watching the original to get a better understanding of why so many people hate this version.
Honestly is there any good Korean remakes of Japanese dramas because so far I haven’t seen any.

The crazy thing about this drama is that you would think I hate all the villains especially the women ( Nam & Dear) but honestly Koy got on my nerves more then anyone. At least with those evil b$&?es you knew why they acted like that but with Koy her jealousy just made no sense & did more damage then good. Although this happens a lot In Asian dramas I hate when I main lead (mostly male) doesn’t say something to crazy women like Koy. What makes it worse was that there are 3 of them that could easily put her in her place.
P.s she could easily miss me with the bull$&?t about how she doesn’t know who P’Gun is doing all this for ... like honey have several seats because you were acting like this as soon as you meant Pim. I’m done my Koy rant.

Now that you are saying that. I think you are completely right about that one. She is too naieve and asking herself…
Exactly like there are so many red flags , they lie to you about knowing the girl, they all share that apartment, the one friend was technically the last one seen with her, and there are so many more flags that she just choose to ignore. I don’t think she should be on the case not only because she tells them insider information but because she always gets flustered anytime Oh Tae Suk brings up the affair. Ugh hopefully she learns to stop before it gets even worse.

Okay is it only me or does anyone else get frustrated with Kang In Ho’s wife Na Ra every times she tells information about the case to his friends. I mean in the beginning I understood because she was didn’t know the details of the case but why she still proceeded to tell them information even when in the case ( according to the one scene the detective, the other lawyer, & her were talking about the case) his friends, Tae Suk to be exactly, was suspicious she still spills everything.. ugh.

I'm glad you mentioned them! Their chemistry was off the charts, so much that I still catch myself thinking about…
Yass i love them .... I would not mind seeing them do something else together.

I wanted to do I quick rant ... so far only 14 episodes in and I’m loving everything but the main (if you can consider her the main) female lead. She is definitely going down as one of my top five hated female leads. It not even because she is evil (let’s refer to empress ki’s tanasili) because I can appreciate a good evil female character but here she just spoiled, self righteous && unnecessary in her actions. So far I have no sympathy for her or the hand she’s been deal, maybe that will change but so far...ummm.... nothing .Now let me clarify that’s in no way, shape, or form refers to the actress playing this character ( Park Jin Hee) && everything to do with the character itself. With all that being said I am liking this drama so far ... started last night && been pretty much binge watching it . 60 , 1hr long episodes.. wish me luck !

Title While You Were Sleeping Spoiler
I think when dreamers save person of their dream who was actually to die..also start to possess these qualities..
I was thinking that too bc that was originally my first theory but my only thing with that is how did Hong Ju start dreaming? If you think about Jae Chan saved her life and Hae In but unless you count saving his brother from jail time, Jae Chan life wasn’t directly saved. See all this deep thinking means that this drama is everything !!!

For me, Hae In started dreaming because of his fate was changed. He had to die that night but he didn't.
That was my third theory considering that all three of them help change each other's fate in some way.

I don't think it's that crazy since I was thinking along the same lines. :)
I glad I'm not the only one...half of me is hoping this isn't the case tho because I love the little dreamers triangle they got going on rigth now.

Title While You Were Sleeping Spoiler
I have a theory on how they may all be connected... it may be a reach but... we know that both Hong Ju & Jae Chan’s dad was killed by the soldier. What if, now stay with me, what if the way they are connected with Hae In is that his brother was the soldier? Well I mean the second theory I had was that the store clerk is his sister... but the soldier story is way more dramatic .

- People are saying Sang Mi should tell her mum about Reverent Creep, but the thing is, it was happening right…
I get what you're saying about the parents but I honestly think they have no idea. Now of course for us we hear the creeper saying how pretty she is and staring at her but as the parents, they only know that he a church going person who is helping them out of their bad predicament. Think about it, even the son was like I think they're nice people. The only reason that Sang Mi is not on the "he so nice bandwagon" is because all of these things are happening to her. I believe that their parents said to protect her brother more so due to the bully he received in Seoul more so than knowing that he was getting bully currently. If you notice he was quiet, and shy, pretty much innocent where Sang Mi was more of the take charge twin. In the parent's eyes, Sang Mi was the strongest and the strongest needs to protect the weak, which in this case would be her brother. I completely agree with you that this matter gets "sweep under the rug" in Kdramas especially when it seems to be such a big problem.
&& I'm seriously hoping that it the level of BS coming out his mouth that her face looks like that.

P.s I seriously agree that not only a mother but as women that him commenting on her daughter's looks and smell should have been a red flag

- People are saying Sang Mi should tell her mum about Reverent Creep, but the thing is, it was happening right…
I think you're confusing the "first lady" of the cult and her mom. Her mom has no clue what going on, the first lady is the one that made eye contact then look away. I think Sang Mi should have told her mom when the whole " getting out the car and hugging the tree" thing happen, but at the same time, she did not want to cause any more stress to her parents.
I agree that I do not want her to fall for the whole Jim Jones cult leader thing going on. I'm hoping that look was due to a light bulb going off, that this guy is a professional creep, then he must be the Almighty.
&&& also one for bad timing ... I'm team Dong Cheol as well right now.

Episode 4 was an absolute mind f$&k . I mean I guess that bluebird was the "alien " but honestly this is the first time that being right threw me for a loop. I honestly thought she was evil incarnate but she actually just as lost as everyone else . I think Kim Woo Jin is or plays a part in being the creator of smart earth which also blew my mind because from the beginning I thought it was His brother . &&& let's not even talk about how I thought Park Dong Gun ( the assistant professor) was the one sticking bugs up the kids nose && not the actual professor . Needless to say 4 episodes in && TVN already going for the win.
