Overall , this drama is a delightful and entertaining blend of romance and humor balancing personal and professional growth. While it does have cliched elements and minor flaws, the execution is done well. Recommended if you are looking for light and fluffy drama with good character development with no less to no drama and enjoy contract marriage & cohabitation tropes.

Hachi’s childish behavior was the reason I didn't enjoy the drama much too. At times it was frustrating to watch.

Also I didn't know there was a second season. Hopefully they give his character a good development.

Overall, will recommend it as a one-time watch. Despite some clichés and pacing issues, the characters and their journeys toward self-acceptance and emotional growth are fun to watch.

They finally focused on the fantasy element which they sidelined in the series, but while building that I felt the romance took a back seat. It felt a bit underwhelming.
Overall, still it was a sweet but somewhat forgettable special .

What I loved about Love Next Door is how realistic the characters seemed and how all of them had real flaws that truly negatively affected their lives and relationships. Flaws you can relate to >>> Summaries my LND journey of 8 weeks. ❤️
Yes it has flaws especially how they handled MoEum's story but nevertheless a special one ✨

This was quite a ride for me. It was more than a romcom. It was a nuanced story of personal growth, love and healing. The drama resonated with me long even after each episode ended somehow reminding me that understanding ourselves and the people around us is both complex and sometimes profoundly beautiful.

I may have delved deeper than necessary 🙈 but the 8 weeks journey was a treat. The real-life parallels made this extra special for me. I know it has FLAWS but I am willing to overlook them for the sheer enjoyment it has given me.
I would wholeheartedly recommend this. ,

In ULS , they were the second couple but I wished they were the mc! 😭 After time of fever few things make more sense in ULS.

But I enjoyed the movie more than the drama !

The series deals with serious themes like homophobia, child abuse, prostitution and animal abuse faced by those living on the margins of society, it also speaks loudly about acceptance and capacity of love to heal even from the deepest wounds. This was dark and toxic but at the same time hopeful and happy. I know it doesn't make sense but at the end of it, it was actually 'happy of the end'.

Overall, recommended if you are okay watching dark themes and considering the trigger warning (Again, please do read it before starting. It is not all shining stars but you do see the light throughout!)

I am also rooting for MoEum but DanHo needs to address his demons first before he accepts MoEum. But hopefully we will get that soon ❤️

Rant While watching Ep 12 (Not proofread. Also it is short compared to previous episodes because I didn't wanna pause 😭 ) :

- "I, Bae Seok Ryu, will take responsibility for you, Choi Seung Hyo!" They are so cute. And she has always done her part ❤️
- The awkwardness after the kiss 🤭
- Sseung teasing SeokRyu. Lol.
- The way she is rattled. It is so fun to see 😂
- Lol, that was a fun lunch 😂
- Him inspecting the room and planning to stay. Seung Hyo, I saw that 🤭
- "My gaze is so gentle." No girl, it isn't 😭
- SeokRyu, catch the hint, girl! 😭
- Their dating/confession/whatever era is so soft and nice ❤️❤️
- Also, Sseung is very romantic 🤭
- That spat between Sseung's dad and the CEO was funny lol. I like how he was protective and so vocal about it. Lol, finally speaking. And YES, I AM INVESTED IN THEIR STORY. Thank you.
