The characters are charismatic, but it's just a story of two workholics that have some traumas. It would have been much better if they focused on the human side, but the whole drama is all about business. Even the couples' conversations are mostly about business. It would be exhausting in real life, let alone in a drama.

Has anyone seen the trailers? It looks nothing like the synopsis. It seems like a drama of mixed identites of the FL. I've also started reading the novel, and so far it doesn't match the vibe of the trailers either. Any guesses? regardless, I'm looking forward to this one.

Kind of but childish and lacking chemistry.

I watched this drama hoping for something light, but found it tedious and frustrating. The leads lacked chemistry, spending the entire series pouting. Their attempts to create cute scenes ultimately came across as forced and annoying.

I can relate, though my experience wasn’t this severe. No judgment—it’s hard to realize you’re in a toxic dynamic, let alone get out. The show makes it harder by excusing his behavior as romance rather than highlighting the toxicity. It’s an unequal power play, plain and simple. But as a soap opera? It’s great entertainment.

Totally agree with you. In this respect, this drama is refreshingly more realistic than the CEO tropes around...

ep 11. I'm loving this drama. The acting is so good and so is the storyline. And they ha e such an amazing chemistry. But OMG, I simply cannot get over what a terrible boyfriend the ML is. It makes for a good story, but I just can't like him... The female lead is sweet and young. She's naive but at least she's not stupid. It is so hard to handle suxh a toxic relationship. I hope young women don't get the wrong idea. This sort of thing only works in dramas, in real life it's hell...

This is such a great show! I don't understand the ratings. It is delicate and interesting at the same time. So well written. They navigate through difficult traumas with warmth and respect. Highly recommended.

i agree with a lot of the posts that the secondary characters in the village are the heart of the drama. It's a nice watch, though sometimes it drags. The story has many holes, but the production is well done. The biggest issue, in my opinion, was that I found that the ML and FL had no chemistry at all. It seemed forced.

I've watched 3 eps and I find it quite boring and a bit childish. The "deeper meaning" is portrayed in such a superficial way, that ends up underming it. I'm thinking of dropping it. I scroll way too much on my phone during the eps... never a good sign. Is it worth insisting? Does it get better?

First ep feels like a worst version of Dynamite Kiss (which was great at the start and then went downhill, unfortunately). could this be the reverse? I will watch a couple more to decide.
