For those who think people are just hating on Kang Ha Na and Esom: I've read countless comments here in MDL and elsewhere, and not once have I seen anyone criticizing Esom's acting. Learn to separate the actor from the character. You are allowed to dislike a character if their motivations and story arc don't agree with you. As for people saying that "Kang Ha Na haters" are Go Eun shippers, please stop. Can we please just enjoy the drama without getting embroiled in shipping wars? The entire message of this drama is being lost on you!
For those who think Kang Ha Na is a useless character: you're wrong. She plays an incredibly important role in the drama without which this show would probably be classified as outright fantasy (not saying that there aren't any plotholes right now). Ha Na's character grounds the show, it's important to highlight the duality between what justice means and how it's being dealt by two different systems. Sure, it's frustrating to see Ha Na always ending up with the short end of the stick, but this is how the judicial system generally is. The entire premise of this drama is righting the wrongs that the law failed to do, this is why there's need for vigilante justice in the first place! We can argue forever on how effective or ethical this is but it goes without saying, the Rainbow Taxi team gets way more done than the law ever could.
To conclude, yes, it's annoying to see Kang Ha Na always go after the Rainbow Taxi team, and yes, she's just doing her job, but she's terrible at it. I could list down every single instance where she fails in basic judgment and instead just acts upon her own emotions and stubbornness, instead of logical reasoning, just so she can fit the bill of the strong, no nonsense female archetype, but it's a failed attempt. And I wouldn't really expect too much in terms of the accuracy of this writing because once again, this drama is written by a man, something to consider when looking at all the female characters in this story.
Lastly, yes, Ha Na is ironically useless, a fact she acknowledges herself in episode nine and we see her crossing over to the other side for a bit before her superior drags her right back by telling her to take a compliment when she gets it. But she also has her moments such as that one time in episode 6 where she found someone vital to the investigation before the Rainbow Team. This is another highlight of the duality of the two forces that are at odds here. So please just sit back and enjoy the show, all its lessons and the hard work that everyone put into it.

I was talking more in terms of the on-screen chemistry between actors but felt weird using the word itself, but yeah that's what I was referring to. Not trying to justify any of Ja Kyung's actions here, she's a terrible person regardless.
I just can't bring myself to hate Kang Ja Kyung. She's doing everything very irrationally but there's reason to it all. And she does have a better relationship with Ha Joon than Hee Soo. It's frustrating!
On the other hand, way to make me starve for Soo Hyuk x Yoo Yeon interactions, smh. They were sweet though this time around. I am disappointed in Seo Hyun though, sis at least let others be happy if you couldn't have your own happiness. Either way, the preview for tomorrow looks exciting!

Yes, this is why I like ensemble casting but I really wanted to see her in the spotlight for once. Since you've pointed out that she does have her own back story and everything, I'll definitely continue this.
Got busy with work so I couldn't watch this past the first episode, but can someone who's caught up with all episodes tell me if Go Yoon Jung's character Jeon Ye Seul has a significant part in the drama? (the student who finds the professor's body in episode one.) I loved her in Sweet Home and she's one of the main reasons why I started this and will most likely continue it. Please let me know if she's important to the story.
How did Han Soo Hyuk remember Kim Yoo Yeon wearing that hair tie if she left it on his bed prior to meeting him?
He didn't lie down to rest in bed until after dinner, where he first saw her with her hair tied with another one of the same hair tie. The two then met again later in the night where he returned her first hair tie to her.
That twist with Seo Hyun was rather interesting, I'm excited to see her story ahead, and I hope they bring this point up again and don't just sideline it. So far, she's the only one among the older adults that I can say I care for to an extent.
The rest of my attention belongs entirely to Soo Hyuk (N's my reason for watching) and Yoo Yeon (what a darling) and I'm disappointed that they barely get enough screentime when the screaming aunt gets so much of it. Here's to hoping things change moving forward.
