For me, I felt her character was cheerful, even after that dreadful incident at the start she was not like other characters in drama that encountered similar scenarios she was not depressed like her life is over etc., she was smart to deduce protag was not the one who caused the incident, she adapted better to her new surrounding, she might have high EQ plus she is smart to catch on things easily. I think despite lacking martial arts skill etc. she might be the coolest character I have seen in costume dramas who have a positive outlook, maybe her character can help someone in real life who is having hard time to have a positive outlook in life. I like her character, the scene she is in even if it's short is meaningful to watch for me at least, even if there is no romance it's nice to see the character interacting with everyone & enjoying her new life.

She likes being with him without expecting anything from him, more than being in love.

I just watched the first episode & it's great.

Since ML older than FL some may not be happy, some will start attacking ML, above commenter addressing that.

Viki subs quality is good, I watched an old drama on VIKI, it has better quality subs than Youku for the same drama, MGTV dramas most of them sub quality is not great, but this drama is available on China Huace TV. Another issue with MGTV was delay in Eng subs for locked episode, so the best option was Viki. Dramas exclusive for MGTV will take longer than dramas on other platforms.

When I saw this drama was airing on MGTV I knew this was going to happen, few months back a xianxia aired on MGTV & it took a lot of time, only option to watch the show was Viki so it took a lot of time.

Donating her blood, her blood somehow heals ML when he is hurt badly, maybe she is in love, or she likes being close to ML, or she has some evil intentions or being used by bad guy without even her knowledge, like in some drama or film bad guy put a woman with lead after they get close tries to kill her to hurt the lead, messed up way to hurt the person you want to kill etc.

I agree, nothing much to complain about, lots of positivity instead of usual frustrating & torturing elements common in these kinds of dramas.

Compared to other xianxia genre dramas I have watched, can't say this is bad. It's slow paced, 90% of the time characters spend time talking, only 10% of the time there are some cool fights etc., despite all that can't say it's bad.

I think it's better than other Xianxia which test viewers patience with heavy frustrating elements, most of them had 50–60 episodes of torture. I read two chapters of the novel, ML was flirting with FL he was into her, he even kisses her, her intentions are not mentioned in the part I have read felt like completely different from drama start etc., maybe will read the novel, looks like drama version have lighter versions of the leads.

There is no need for defending KSH because even he might not have thought things like this, if he has nothing to hide & he is innocent when accusations was made against him, he should have taken it seriously & handled it better like I mentioned when one actor was accused of gang rape he didn't waste time he immediately did a press conference & reporters gathered there asked him questions he answered them within days it was found he was innocent, KSH could have handled things better, he was not living in a bubble to not understand one of the actors under his agency is going through a hard time, since KSR have passed away anyone can say anything now.

I said this mess was created due to KSH way of handling things, if KSH & his team did things differently when KSR was alive there is no need for him getting dragged, KSH is the same person who never agreed he dated even when all this allegations came out & he was forced to accept it, so how can someone believe a person who already lied, even if a person tells an innocent lie & get caught once no one will trust them they will only think that person always lies so even if they tell a truth it will be hard to trust.
KSH got exposed lying, he can say whatever, but it's a fact he lied, he wanted to protect his image & not pay compensation this is what caused all this mess for him, once caught lying, even telling truth not everyone will blindly trust.

When KSR photo scandal came up the great KSH could have said he dated her, he didn't because his hit drama was airing he didn't want to pay compensation & also protect his image.

These are the two factors I meant KSH could have handled better, if the great KSH handled this better no one would have made any accusations even if they did most will stand with KSH.
I was trying to say was he could have handled things where he was involved, he can say he was unaware of agency sending notice etc. but what about the photo scandal.

He doesn't owe anyone, but could have saved a life, his actions are the issue not being hit with a scandal, how he dealt with it is what caused all this mess, one actor in another country was accused of gang rape by a woman, what that actor did was he immediately did a press conference & explained things he even answered questions the reporters asked etc. later it was found he was innocent, because there was evidence to prove, if KSH is innocent he could have handled things better that's the major issue.

This wouldn't have been a big issue for KSH if before KSR death when she was hit with that photo scandal he could have just said they dated once, the damage he would have encountered at that time would have not been like this. It would be hard to prove anything now, thanks to his fan base he will make a comeback, if it succeeds or not depends on his luck. Even if there are no evidence etc. at least anyone who has common sense can spot what KSH could have done better, she was from his agency when she was in trouble he could have done something at least when something related to him was making headline like the photo, when one Korean actor was hit with drug scandal popular actress who was his friend stood with him.
KSH mess was created by him trying to protect his image or brand if he was innocent he could have handled all this in a better way, his proof would have been how well he handled.

Also, they are from the same agency Artist Company don't know if she changed agency, but before she was in that agency.

In one k drama very young actress have a kiss scene with older actor because in that drama they are having an affair, she is minor in that drama having an affair with a doctor. There are K movies etc. with nudity of older & younger actors like Old boy, so a romance is not a big deal.
Noona romance is involved, older woman has intimate scenes with younger actors.

Wuxia dramas, the strongest martial artist either gets forced to commit suicide for honor or promise, or they suffer due to plots & betrayals.
Demi-Gods and Semi-Devils has one of the strongest martial artists as protag who basically can defeat anyone in that story, he commits suicide due to story circumstances, But still the story presents all this better than this drama.

It's slow paced but not bad.
