Really? 8 episodes of staring, only for Aue to finally confess, be rejected and Aek to end up in the home of a random, who has obviously made it clear he fancies the fuck outta him! Really? He didn't call a friend but a literal stranger. How stupid do you think we are? Writers, you seriously need to go back to school, because I've read seriously better writing and character development on Wattpad. Shame on you.

Ep 7 done. What is this? It clearly isn't a BL and should never have been branded as such. It's a cookery drama with amazingly beautiful food, showcasing the produce and culture of a beautiful country and the quest for an underdog chef to perhaps win a national competition. That's it. That's all we're seeing. What it isn't is a BL romance drama.

If only Bite Me was like The Tasty Florida, by way of the chemistry and communication between the two leads. I think we'd all be satisfied.

Raise your hand if you found the Leo/Fiat shower scene uncomfortable viewing. It so wasn’t hot. Yes, they do have chemistry, but this was so not hot. Others have commented the same on Instagram. You can so see Leo in the intimate scenes go “right, here we go ‘gotta do and get through this”. Kissing and constantly squeezing someone’s arm does not equate to good sex. Fact. Who squeezes someone’s arm during sex? I didn’t know the arm was an erogenous zone? It was painful viewing.

I’ve posted this message on their site today: “I have huge respect for the great work the subs do and absolutely appreciate they are not paid by Viki, however, this website is primarily for paid subscribers, and as such, as a paid subscriber, I expect a minimum level of customer service. To have to wait 4-days for English subs on a popular drama, which is being watched by audiences worldwide and see that subs are still not complete and showing at 78%, is simply not good customer service. Totally agree with your comments. Utterly ridiculous, but have to admit wardrobe did a
seriously bad job. I'm only being subjective here, however, has anyone else noticed that the
female lead from eps perhaps 19-21 has stopped wearing shorts, moved to short skirts and
more business wear and in ep 20, the 2nd FL has binned the ridiculous pigtails and now has
bob length hair? Just saying... maybe it's just me, but perhaps something surrounding the
comments filtered through.

I knew it was bad, but didn't realise how bad until I watched Advance Bravely and then read the book, which is beyond awesome and so damn hot. Did you know the author had to leave China to write it in the US for her safety?

I'm at ep 15 and it's really good, but how the fuck are they going to take this to 40 episodes without it being utterly boring. I've prepared myself for the usual misunderstandings, lack of communication between grown adults, parents, her ex, hospital and loss of memory. I could go on but I've bored myself.

It's 16 for me. China needs to get their shit together. You can tell a beautiful story in 16 episodes.

But how frustrated does that make you feel? It frustrates the hell out of me. I'm honestly asking myself if I'll go to 40 episodes. I Just can't see it engaging me enough.

What is it about Chinese writers and Directors feeling they need to do a 40 episode drama? What the actual fuck! Who needs a drama at 40 episodes? As lovely and cute as this drama currently is at 13 episodes (just watched), I feel it's going to get seriously boring and irritating. The Chinese adore misunderstandings because hey, no one actually ever communicates in a relationship in a Chinese drama. Thankfully, and oh my God I'm so thankful we don't have the intrusive parent trope, well we do, but not to the usual extent. But honestly, where is this drama heading with 40 bloody episodes?
