Really? Who wants a 2nd season of this utterly disappointing crap.
Why are you typing in capitals? Did you hit the caps lock key by mistake? I actually don't understand anything you've said in your rant. It makes no sense to me. To recap, which I feel you've massively misunderstood. All I was saying to you was, how lovely would it have been if the leads had some happiness from say ep 24 onwards, instead of the end. That's all. Chill babes:-). We're talking about a drama we'll forget in a week once its ended. People are dying in the world, wars and shit are happening, children starving. They're the things you need to get angry about. Why get angry about such irrelevant shit like this drama. My head can't go to such places.
Really? Who wants a 2nd season of this utterly disappointing crap.
However, how lovely would it have been if the leads enjoyed as you say in your own words 'happy content' from say ep 24, which is the standard for C-dramas of 33-40 episodes. That's my point.
Have you slowly watched the beginning "Prelude" of Episode 1? It basically shows what happens, months after the…
Why does that matter? We've endured 38 episodes of non entertainment. There's a reason they're called leads, however the writer in their fucked up head chose to ensure the side characters have the lead for 38 episodes! WTAF! 38 EPISODES! Tell me a C-drama where this has ever happened.
Really? Who wants a 2nd season of this utterly disappointing crap.
That's the point. The side characters have literally taken over the whole drama for 38 episodes. There's a reason why they're called the ML and FL, but for some fucked up reason the writer chose for them not to lead throughout this drama, the side characters have. That's the issue and downfall of this drama. Tell me a C-drama where this have ever happened? That's my point. It's ep 39 tomorrow, it's just too, too late and even with an extra two 'love' episodes incorporating everything you've mentioned above, I still don't believe it would save it. Too little, too late!
Can someone explain me what happened in episode 4 with the main couple? I didn't really understand what was wrong,…
They like each other but haven’t confessed. Tupfah is pissed off that Thorn invited someone else to train at their early morning session, which is usually just the 2.
Really? Who wants a 2nd season of this utterly disappointing crap.
I hear you. However, I honestly believe the writer wouldn't come anywhere close to meeting your expectations even with an extra 2 episodes. I've probably watched exclusively over 100 C-dramas and can honestly say I've never experienced writing like this. To me, it just makes no sense. Ultimately, the audience is looking to be entertained. Unless your spirit is seriously dark, narcissistic and psychotic what part or element of this drama is entertaining? For me, it ends at the beautiful cinematography of the food.
I agree 100% And what kind of crap is this that all the evil characters get 1 min enlightenment suddenly and all…
So hear you. Why would viewers want to watch the happiness of bad people. Just doesn’t make any sense. Grrrr! I can honestly say I’ve never been so angry or frustrated with a drama, hence why I’ve turned to the book to ease my weary soul. #Sigh
I'm so pissed off. EP 38, with two more to go and the baddies continue to enjoy an oh so beautiful life and existence. Happy. Happy. Happy. Why does the writer feel we'd be enthralled watching a drama where everything good is happening to bad people. Are you the devil's sperm? WTAF. I stand by my last comment, the writer is seriously fucked up in the head. Why couldn't they at least win the competition. Was that too much to ask? Let a blind man and his mentor win the fucking competition as underdogs. I ask you, considering they've had absolutely no respite for 38 episodes, wouldn't that at the very least make for a good story and be the logical conclusion. Obviously not, because the writer has absolutely no clue how to engage, entice and enthral their audience. I will never, ever watch another drama by this writer. This much I absolutely know.
At this point this whole thing feels like a waste. I've never seen a drama that allowed all these ridiculous scheming…
Me and you both. So hear you. I’m beyond disappointed hence why I headed to the book. Also, I’m a writer for UK hospitality, so imagine my utter disappointment. #Sigh
EP: 37 What the actual fucking fuck! So sorry to swear, but I'm just so angry and frustrated. Aren't you? These are my thoughts:
I've actually come to the conclusion that the writer has had previous relationship issues and is using their platform as a writer to sabotage showcasing love. They don't want to see or endure any kind of happiness or love between a man and woman.
I just can't get my head around, why a writer at ep 37, would continue to showcase the happiness evolving in the lives amongst all the bad people. REALLY? WTAF. I find it just such bizarre writing that there is absolutely no respite at all for our leads in either justification for the evil they've withstood or love. Don't you?
Mai. OMG. How I do adore thee. Everyone needs a Mai as a friend in their lives to have their back.
Family. You can never defy the strength of family when they all come together to have your back. That scene with the uncle, his team, even Lin Xiao Yu and Bu Lu really touched my heart in the kitchen when videoing desserts to help Lin Ke Song. Lovely.
Right! Rant over. Thank you for being my platform to unleash my frustrations. I'm now returning back to the book, which I'm currently at ep 31 and oh so enjoying. The romance and flirtation is so mesmerisingly beautiful and so on point! Shame this drama couldn't replicate it in any way!
