Then do not dare watch the next epidode and save your time.
Thank you for taking the time to review my profile. Awesome mix of dramas in there wouldn't you agree? Honestly, let's just agree we like different things and for different reasons. After all, isn't that the beauty of human nature. If we were all the same and liked the same, don't you think life would be oh so bloody boring? Have to say, I'm surprised you're still here watching considering how much you hate it. May I ask why?

Greetings. The content is indeed mature. They had sex, during which for the first time we actually heard moaning. This week they tongued. That in itself is considered mature for an Asian drama and hence why it has its 18+ restriction. Unserious, yes, I totally agree, I find this drama utterly hilarious, as it should be, from the spanking 'naughty, naughty boy' to the suppository - 'boyfriend, I will get you better'. It's called a drama for a reason. You're not meant to take it so seriously and literally.

I of course respect the fact that you don't like this drama. After all, it won't be for everyone and the likes and dislikes of commentators from different cultures will naturally mirror in their thinking about the drama. I myself live as part of a culture known throughout the world for our humour. We don't take things literally and we don't take ourselves too seriously. After all, life is hard enough and these dramas for me anyway are about escapism, so I just find it funny.

Oh, and by the way, I've been in the most sublime long term relationships because of my views on life, my spirit for laughter and positivity, so much so, that my men never want to let me go! #JustSayin.

I just think not everything can be shown to you on screen. A little imagination is needed, just like last week when they had sex. Phayu would have had to prep Rain to enter him, we didn't see that, but know that it was a necessity for it to happen.

Don't forget we don't see every single element on screen. Just like last week when they were having foreplay and possibly for hours. Phayu would have had to prep Rain for sex. I think you need to keep an open mind. Rain was probably saying no at the embarrassment, but the likely outcome was that he allowed Phayu to do it, after all, he would have had to get in a position and spread his arse for Phayu to insert it.

Me and you both. This is a mature drama for adults who understand REAL adult relationships and the dynamics.

You've obviously missed the point of the scene completely. What's creepy about your boyfriend trying to mend your broken arsehole and reduce your fever?? Rain was simply very embarrassed at the thought of Phayu sticking his finger up his arse. However, I don't know why, because he would have had to stick more than one finger up said arse to prepare him for sex.

OMG! This drama just gets better and better. Last week we had beautiful, sensual sex with bloody moaning and this week, we had serious tonguing action in the kissing. Damn, their lips were made for each other - they fit perfectly together. Phayu singing his love for Rain - so lovely. I love the way that Phayu is the epitome of a dominant predator stalking his prey. He's obviously had Rain in his sights for a long, long time. Hence why I think he's fallen in love so quickly. I love the way although a dominant, he's so sensual, caring, thoughtful and nurturing of Rain. The storytelling demonstrates, although Rain is immature, how well their personalities complement and bounce of each other.

And yes, I would like to see Sky's story. But honestly, I'm more invested in the fact that for the first time I'm watching a BL drama where 90% of the screen time is between the two leads and doesn't involve utterly stupid, pointless side characters. I find this both awesome and mesmerising and choose not to take it for granted. I'm never bored watching their interactions, quite the opposite, I find it unique in the storytelling and why MAME is at the top of her game. Only 180 Degrees has shown this. Also, imagine if we were able to watch 90% of screen time with Rain and Phayu in Oh! My Sunshine Night, I think the current rating would be very different indeed!

I'm just smh! Obviously, I'm missing something. Here's my dilemma. Your "boyfriend" shows up at your house, berates…
I think the point that you're very seriously missing is the fact that Rain needed the suppository to treat his sore and swollen arsehole after hours of sex. How on earth can your brain even consider that rape or sexual assault?? Honestly, and no, I'm a Westerner and it definitely wouldn't be considered rape or sexual assault. It would be viewed as my boyfriend is trying to help me get rid of my fever and treat my sore, swollen arsehole. However, as he has to stick his finger up said arsehole, I'm naturally embarrassed, but hey ho, here we go, it's for the best and I'll feel better afterwards.

Honestly speaking, some, if not most, were kind of worried about this series as the director was P'Chee, who directed…
No, thank you for your insightful post. I've just checked out P'Chee - gosh he's produced a lot and I'm in agreement with you, there are some terrible productions in there, but Why R U is one of my favourites. SCOY was a delightful surprise once you got past the first three episodes and I also liked Lovely Writer. So yes, I remain hopeful for this one, as in all his dramas, he seems to be very in touch and aware of how to showcase desire and intimacy.

You guys are killing me with your adoration and love for Tian Yi, and rightly so - damn that man is off the scale hot! And yes, I haven’t missed the abs. I’ve never watched a C-drama short before and spotted it on Kisskh after watching another drama, so came to check out the comments here and gave it a try. You all had me laughing so hard 🤣. I wasn’t disappointed. This is really good. Acting is strong. Leads have good chemistry and the protagonists are off the scale brutal. Just such a shame we get two episodes a day at 9.26 minutes and the female lead is so dumb.

Title About Youth
I'm surprisingly adoring this drama. You know why? Because it is what it is and it's delivering, I think anyway, on its brief. It's not meant to be deep - it is just what it is. It's a light, fluffy drama not based on plots but for me human behaviours when meeting first loves as a gay man in your teens.

Honestly, I just find it oh so cute and happy (excluding Ye Guang's life with his parents). Mother never listens - just tells. Father is a dictator. I'm not usually a lover of cute, fluffy BLs, but if executed well, you have my attention and this drama has my attention.

What I like about it is the way the conversations and interactions between Xu Qi Zhang and Ye Guang feel so very natural and fluid and especially as they've known each other for a very limited amount of time. There's absolutely no awkwardness. They're just so comfortable with each other. It's like they've been besties since birth . (Sun and Khim from Oh! My Sunshine Night could learn a thing or two from them).

Also, Xu Qi Zhang is selflessly there for Ye Guang, without I think Ye Guang actually knowing, but obviously loving him being around, hence he was the first person he called following the argument with the parents from hell and not his best friend Ray and also lying to Ray about why he didn't pick up his calls or answer his texts.

Xu Qi Zhang epitomises for me the perfect boyfriend. He's a listener. He's wise. He's chilled. He's constantly thinking about his man, buying him food, checking in to ensure he's ok, inviting him to his band practices and home. Sharing food with him. Recognising that Ye Guang didn't want to go inside when home, but didn't say anything, because he didn't need to, just put the earbud to his ear. Loved this scene - such subtle, beautiful writing that no words were needed. There are so many, many interactions like this.

I think I like it because it is very rare to see such natural interactions in Thai BL dramas. I'm also loving the quirky relationship that is Ray and Jian. Ray especially intrigues me - such a dejected soul, wanting to be loved for who he is and the opening episode with him with the wig and skirt just piqued my interest tenfold - interesting writing indeed.

There's something about this series that doesn't make me 'run' to it when a new episode drops each week, instead quite the opposite, I find myself running, leaving it to be the final series to watch on my weekly BL watch list after everything else has been aired. So, I naturally asked myself why.

Firstly, I'm not a fan of the Y Series in general. The first series I watched throughout, but found utterly painful viewing. The acting, script, direction I found bad to the point of unwatchable but I did finish it because I honestly couldn't believe what I was viewing. 2nd Series I dropped after perhaps the 2nd or 3rd episodes for the same reasons.

However, this one, there's just something about it that keeps drawing me in. I love the subject. Brave. Respect for an issue that desperately needs to be addressed and changed. Yes, it's beyond cheesy, the acting remains exaggerated - but not as bad as the previous series and I find surprisingly really damn good. I think the reason my brain is not engaging with it but oh so drawn is about the subject. It's dark. It's about a serious issue that MUST change in not just Asian but Worldwide cultures.

I enter the world of Asian dramas for escapism from the real world. It's not that I choose to be ignorant to the real world, because I despise ignorance. Learning and educating yourself on life is power in my brain to think and do good. However, like many, my mind naturally avoids dramas that are depressing and sad, but this drama just can't be ignored. I find myself surprisingly enthralled. It's so captivating. The lead actors are great and have so matured from previous roles. Their delivery is excellent. They're so believable. Everything you want from a drama in terms of storytelling and an excellent narrative.

I never thought I'd say it, but I'm really enjoying this series and will now watch as episodes drop.

Y? I've told you.

I agree. Have already re-watched the last episode, but only the parts which are intimate across what 5 minutes max, in what has been 12 episodes of around and around and around. Will hopefully remember for Shin though, but will never
rewatch.

Really like your thought process "Its okay to create suspense, but there is such a thing as too much and this was a prime example of that." Totally agree. Ruined too much of it for me, so much so that I'll never re-watch because at the forefront of my mind, there are far, far too many episodes of utter frustration, which if we're all totally honest, outweighed the BL love we came here for.

On General's Lady Sep 14, 2022
I find myself stunned. How is this an 8.2? I honestly don't know how anyone has been able to continue this drama. Believe me I tried. I got all the way up to EP 12 and then said to myself 'have a word, you're too intelligent to continue with this shit.'

Again, what is it with C-dramas? Why do you make your female leads so annoying, childish, unlikeable, petty and angry? Do you honestly believe this is what we want to view and see in females portrayed today, irrespective of whether they're a character? Move on already. There is absolutely no rationale to her thought process in everything she does or her jealousy. It all comes across as unbelievable and don't even get me started on her going to the Military Academy and becoming their 'leader'. We have a General who starts out as a strong, respected, decisive male turn into a whimpering wreck once she comes on the scene. I'm frustrated, as it could have been so good, but is beyond, beyond bad. Let's also not forget that he waited, what nearly 3-years, to have sex with her. Oh go away. Really writers and directors, have a word, have a bloody word with yourselves. I'm out.

OMG! I only got to EP 2 and had to drop. Why the Director took the female lead in this direction I will never understand. For me, totally unwatchable. I'm an adult. I don't want to see a grown woman of her age act, behave and sound like a child. It doesn't make any sense and is totally unnatural and so unrealistic. Her actions in just 2-episodes are beyond, beyond cringeworthy. Just couldn't continue.

On Minato's Laundromat Sep 14, 2022
Thank fuck, finally together and our much yearned for happy ending. Finally, Minato grew some oh so needed balls to go after his man. Just wish it had happened sooner and so agree with the comment from @Maggi64 about watching the first 5 episodes, skipping the middle and heading straight on into the final chapters. Again, like many of you have said, it would have been lovely to see what happened at the laundromat now that Minato had found his confidence and stopped being a childish coward across all those useless episodes.

I get that he needed that closure from 'Grandpa', but it so could have come earlier and been less episodes. However, I found the closing last episodes with said grandpa really lovely and the writing especially thoughtful in his delivery. However, being realistic, we got less than 5-minutes out of 12 episodes of our leads finally being together and two very average kisses thrown in with a rollick in the sea which has thrown many of you into an orgasm! WTAF! I get it, at least it's progressed from the usual J-drama with zero kisses and intimacy. But they lost their magic for me after the earlier episodes.

Shin will always remain for me the reason to watch this drama. His delivery of the script, passion for his character and all round believability as a viewer at his delivery, I found stunning. Damn was that man beyond selfless patient and true to his love. He was the adult throughout the whole series and relationship. Loved that Asuka got his happy ending - so deserved. Although, he's got his hands full there. How you can love an A-sexual robot I'll never understand the attraction. So off. But hey, that's what I truly love about Japanese screenwriters and directors - always out there! #JustSayin #YaBoyfriendIsBoringAsFuck and you're a ray of sunlight.
