It's a shame because it started out so strong. I will say, however, that the problem is that the original manga…
Greetings lovely lady. Yes, have to say my US clients are absolutely devastated about the news of the Queen. I'm currently in London for the day for business and it's crazy, crazy here. Completely rammed with 1m additional humans. Just sitting in a pub having a lovely glass of Sauvignon, sun shining on my face and have just completed the final episode of this drama, whilst waiting for my train. Thank fuck, finally together and our much yearned for happy ending. Have to agree with all, a lovely ending. Finally, Minato grew some oh so needed balls to go after his man. Just wish it had happened sooner and so agree with your comments I've read about skipping the inner parts.
Oh yes, I have seen Follow My Sunshine. Really lovely.
180 Degrees really is something special in the world of Thai BLs and I especially love the fact that it was produced by a Theatre Director which I think is obvious to see. That first scene was why I was hooked. Love the term 'eye-fucking', made me chuckle. It literally gave me butterflies when they first met. However, it's so, so very complex and deep, and quite the head fuck when you think about the three of them and what they're searching for. Also loved I Told Sunset About You. So full of anguish and raw love, together with the follow up.
Takara and Amagi in About Youth, I just find oh so cute. It's not meant to be deep - it is just what it is. Happy fluff. Sometimes, like this drama, I like cute if executed well and what I like about this drama is the way that Xu Qi Zhang is selflessly there for him. I like their conversations, their interactions feel so very natural considering they've just met. He thinks about him - buying him food, ensuring he's ok, inviting him to his band practices and home. Remaining outside when he didn't want to go in, their conversations in school. I think I like it because it is very rare to see such natural interactions in Thai dramas. Think the current travesty which is Oh! My Sunshine Night. Don't even think about watching!
Gosh! This is just bad. Really, really bad writing , directing and storytelling. Most of the narrative, and I don't know if this is purely down to the English subs, doesn't make sense or is simply illogical. Why did Baiboa seek out Phayu, only to respond, nothing. What was the point of that exchange? Does Phayu have a crystal ball where he's able to read minds, quite like Khim's healing powers? It's just a whole load of unnecessary nonsense.
Whenever, Sun and Khim are on screen it's just uncomfortable viewing and very little narrative between them. Also, they have absolutely zero chemistry or development in their relationship. Pie, really needs to do some serious inner reflection, as that man must be so self-absorbed with limited emotional intelligence to the point where he can't see that Khim has zero interest in him, bordering on the point of despising him. He doesn't even try to hide it, it's pure disdain.
I just didn't see the point of EP.11, it felt like I was watching a bunch of nothing!
Not everything has to tie to KP. I get the comment about Venice but seriously…these actors and story writers…
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣. I just find it so damn funny and a waste of energy to get irate about such a stupid thing. They’re gonna have a seriously hard time policing that shit, as literally 1,000s and I mean 1,000s of comments on here mention (the name we dare not speak) Hmmm… Have I entered the world of Harry Potter 🤔 🤣❤️
Omgg Payu is trying to teach Rain (who is younger and is currently dropping everything to be around Payu and missing…
You so get it and we all do, but I really think the other two commentators posting on your feed are watching a COMPLETELY different drama and have perhaps mistakenly posted here. #JustSayin'
It's a shame because it started out so strong. I will say, however, that the problem is that the original manga…
You do make me smile. Hilarious. 😍How do you know some much about Diana, Charles and Camilla? Do you follow English history. News. Culture? So funny. I actually live in the same county which was Princess Diana's home, literally a 10 minute drive to her home at Althorp Estate.
In the series, I absolutely loved the EMERGING story between Pete and Vegas. and totally understand how and why they got together from their childhood issues... and you'll love this. Vegas' dad with his girlfriend had a child. Dad dies. She runs off after giving birth. Vegas is unconscious for months. Pete looking after him and his brother. However, Pete falls in love with the abandoned child and they both agree, (all Pete, because he's beside besotted with the child and he with it) to bring it up together and of course Pete is mummy. In a nutshell. The End.
I really need to check out the other dramas you're speaking about. When you mention Saint, I'm thinking Love by Chance or Why R U, so you need to elaborate, as I tend to know the actors based on the titles of the dramas and not by Thai names. Marvellous.
Oooh! A good Vietnamese. I've watched a couple, but don't recall this one, as I'll be honest, they were never memorable. l'll definitely be sure to check out and feedback.
Yes, do check out my list... I've also uploaded in the last couple of days, so there are dramas including my best and worst. I also think it depends on your mood, well, it definitely does for me. Just hit me up with what you prefer and I'll make further recommendations also would love to hear yours.
So they waited to serve all the clichés for the very end... I mean, I suspected to get them way earlier but I'm…
So hear you. A really kind commentator educated me on Manga's being turned into BL dramas and in most cases, it doesn't translate without some form of creativity to change the story. I find myself learning.
It's a shame because it started out so strong. I will say, however, that the problem is that the original manga…
Hello lovely Maggi. I'm back 😁Lovely to see you pop up in my feed. So, let's begin... #Snigger
I love the way you think, Again, Kinnporsche, I absolutely adored, but the whole mother thing did my head in. I didn't see it's necessity or how it added to the story. It would have helped if they'd allowed the bloody woman to actually talk and have some semblance of a presence in the drama other than just as a manikin. Because I loved Kinnporsche, I actually (you know my nature by now, always want to learn and understand) read the book and I'll be honest, I don't get the love for Vegas and Bible's character and it is only a character. I get that people haven't read the book. Totally understand. However, in the book, Vegas tortured, abused, beat and raped Pete multiple times. Stockholm syndrome is alive between them. I think its because I read the book prior to their episodes being shown in the drama that I simply couldn't buy into it. I didn't find it in the least sexy or appealing, but have to say, I absolutely got the nuance of Pete's mind of being dominated and tortured, while saving a broken soul, which I absolutely understood.
I so adore your thinking. You're My Star started out as so compelling and yes, you're so bloody right, I was more invested in Dome and Vi - there story was lovely.
Have to admit the Philippines are the utter worst when it comes to Bls, so much so, that I've stopped watching. Although Gaya Sa Pelikula is truly beautiful and a must watch. The song, as I'm crazy, crazy about music, can't live without it "Ride Home" is an utter, utter delight and joy. Vietnamese dramas - let's just not go there!
I also love non-gay dramas. Check out my profile to see if there are any you might like and have possibly missed - I updated it recently.
Hello American lady. 😍I was in Chicago for business/pleasure in June. What a city and people. My first travels since lockdown in 2020. However, that's a story for another day. Hello, I'm from the UK and sadly our Queen died today. Irrespective of whether you're into the monarchy, it does feel kinda sad having your Queen die after 96-years on this earth.
Same the subs were off by like 30 seconds for the last 5 minutes and idk what the last lines said or the spoiler…
I could weep! 😭I feel so cheated. This is such an important part of the sex scene in my mind. Perhaps they'll update or we can find out on social media as others would have expressed the same.
Damn am I loving this drama for its writing and directing. It's so sensual. It's so seductive. It's so sexy and our male leads from EP1 have displayed so much chemistry. Tick. Tick. Tick in my box.
What really resonates with me is how Phayu absolutely has his man's back and utterly believes in what he's capable of achieving as an architect. He displays the delightful ethos of a selfless, thoughtful mentor who only wants the very best for their student. The fact that Rain obviously feels it through Phayu's harsh words and praise, I find really lovely writing, because I think unknowingly at this point he really wants to showcase the very best of himself to this man.
I find Phayu's character quite mesmerising but obvious in the way he thinks and perhaps at this stage loves Rain. "I don't want a spur of the moment relationship." "You have to be responsible for your own life." "Don't come back." His worry that Rain will lose focus makes the writing so much stronger and beautiful and once again, selfless.
Have to say, Phayu looked utterly stunning whilst writing those notes for Rain while he slept. What a lovely touch too leaving those notes. Again signs of a true mentor. They'll kick your arse but also will never hesitate when praise is due. Love it too much.
I'm officially adopting the line "sleep assaulter". Phayu is such a bloody, beautiful tease. Once again, Rain waits in the rain waiting for his man - the only person he thinks about turning to when both happy and sad. Says a lot. That beautiful line: "Can I stand by your side now?" really touched me.
The sex scene I found so beautiful. And yes, hotter than Bible and Pete. Phayu is so sensual, teasing, seductive and thoughtful in his love making. And, for the first time, I think, we actually heard moaning's of desire. How great is that? Means so much to the reality that is life. However direct, confident and unashamed in saying what he wants, which for me sex should be. After all, he has displayed incredible restraint up until this point, as we know, that tiger has been 'hunting' Rain for some time. Rain's desire for him has been obvious from EP1, but most importantly, he trusts his heart at this stage and I think the oh so wise Sky's comments about believing in his heart, from the beautiful bestie that he is really resonated with him. The sex was always going to be off the scale HOT due to their obvious chemistry and desire for one another, truly awesome. Other BLs, take note. This is the real world and this is how, irrespective of whether you're gay or straight how human nature reacts to a person they want and desire.
However, WTAF happened with the subs during the last parts of the sex scene on Kisskhe they weren't translated? I feel cheated!
It was so good... I'm off to watch my fave parts multiple times!
