Like I said last week. That tiger was always out to hunt his kitten. I especially love that we have a BL where the majority of the screen time is between the main leads and not fillers of side characters we care absolutely nothing about.
Have to say, I find the thought process behind the script a little unbelievable and jarring. So, we're supposed to believe that Rain wants Phayu to fall in love with him in 30-days, yet has absolutely no feelings for him?! The whole "I don't like you", I'm just doing this to prove a point because you keep calling me stupid, feels stupid and immature script writing. It just doesn't make sense to my brain and I don't see the necessity of taking it in this direction to enhance the script, because I don't feel it does. You've shown us they have huge chemistry from the outset and continue to do so. Rain from the outset was mesmerised by how handsome Phayu is and told him. They obviously really like each other, so I don't see the point of going in this direction, it feels unbelievable because we're being shown the complete opposite.
I too like others am really looking forward to the screen time between Sky and Prapai, as Sky's character really intrigues me. He's so mature and knowing and it will be a seriously interesting match and fight off for Prapai to get this man. And yes, I spied that love bite on your neck. However, I think the flow of the narrative would have worked better, quite like Cutie Pie, if they'd joined the narratives together with Rain and Phayu, instead of separating into portioned episodes.
Have to say, I find Thai writing absolutely beautiful and intricate. For some reason, I was mesmerised watching Sky write the letters. I'd love to learn this.
I think I’ll implode if I have to wait 4 damn hours. What’s the point of a bloody countdown clock that doesn’t start playing after hitting zero. I think they’re teasing us! Bastards #Snigger
So in the novel, Kim has an insatiable sexual appetite and doesn’t get coy about it?
No. Quite the opposite, he's always coy about it which I love. He's beyond embarrassed that he loves what Kamol is doing to his body and can't stop himself begging for more. Ultimately, he's embarrassed about his love of sexual pain. Kamol always asks him what he wants and he always replies: "Harder". "More" - hence why the 3-4 rounds a NIGHT, which blows Kamol's mind. But Kim, isn't at this stage emotionally to differentiate sex and love, but he's starting to and forget Day.
So, you know how much I adore this drama and all for the wrong reasons. The incredibly bad script has me laughing out loud in every episode, in terms of "WTAF am I actually viewing?" "Why do I find it so engaging when the script and acting, let's be honest is utter and complete pants".
So, to get a better understanding of this delightful head fuck of a drama, I actually turned to the book this week and decided to start reading. I have to be honest, the English translation isn't the best, to the point you need to read between the lines which does become frustrating at times, but it does as most of you have said, pretty much mirror the drama. No Cherry. No first kidnap at the hands of said Cherry. Sex is supposed to be described as full on, Kim demanding it hard 3-4 times a night. However, it's oh so proper cringe, childish, eroticism. (Eg: Kamol unleased his WATERS into Kim - it's not waters, it's sperm. The only hose involved in unleashing said waters is Kamol's cock and his sperm shooting into Kim's arse. #Fact). Just say that!!. Yes, yes, I know how much this drama is fixated about water and most importantly wasting it, but Kamol's cum isn't water in this respect and he hasn't wasted it because its been shot into Kim. #Snigger🤣😂.
I'm currently up to the beach stay with Day, his boyfriend and the child unfortunately named after a fish, letting the bad guys in.
There were less highlights of this episode in terms of utter genius, storytelling and narrative, but these are those for me and I actually didn't find this episode so bad - it just remains adorably funny. A breath of fresh air as they say.
1. Kim on entering THEIR bedroom with said ex-fuck buddy lying resplendent on THEIR bed. "You can let your guest stay here. We'll stay in another room." WTAFF! Who would honestly said this shit? Answer: No-one. Absolutely no-one. 2. No ex-lover wants to hear this - HUGE, HUGE burn from Kamol to Dunai: "Nothing was memorable to me." OUCH. I felt like a moth constantly hitting a lightbulb. Undertone: "You were shit in bed, I just needed a regular hole to unleash my beast." 3. Kamol, you're a mafia boss who has limited time to eat. Allegedly you eat at 2-3am. You're probably starving. Stop putting ant sized, miniscule portions of food into your mouth. Yes, we see this and it doesn't make sense. 4. Lovely to see the product placement sachets are back this week. So on brand with a multi-million pound Mafia boss. I can just see him ripping that tear off strip night after night in anticipation. 5. To my FAM on "Oh! My Sunshine Night" - did you spot the hairdryer? Not a towel in sight! #BLCanDoHairdryers 6. Cherry lovely. Word of advice: "You're part of the underworld. Embrace it and take shooting lessons. #JustSayin'
I'd need to message you, as they're picture I've taken as screen shots. Can you message someone on this here platform without being friends? Sorry, I haven't looked up!
i'm just point out and suggest to scroll comments in Pornographer aka The Novelist section. and compare the peace,…
Spot on advice. High five to you. Have to say I absolutely adored The Novelist and Mood Indigo. So real. So raw. So unflinching. So believable and beautifully and confidently acted considering the scenes. Love them too much. Blew my mind. They are actually what brought me fundamentally to J-films and dramas. However, have to admit the latest crop just makes me irritated and angry.
I only have huge respect for Takayuki for how thoughtfully he dealt with Minato when bringing up the past and the kiss. It was a lovely scene and handled in such a relaxed, thoughtful, respectful way by him. His final words, "It was a very passionate kiss??" What? Really? Says the man who had his lips not kissed but pressed against for all of 2-seconds max!! Man, you seriously need to get out more and be truly and thoroughly kissed until your knees buckle under you and you're gasping for air. #Fact. I legit believe only a man who hasn't had his lips truly teased, sucked, devoured and bruised would utter these words #JustSayin' .
Shin's selflessness continues to blow my mind. He's the only reason I remain watching this drama. I'm both mesmerised by his mature, selfless nature and those damn lips, which I want to do all the above to. Baby, mine are bigger than yours and there's a reason we were given them! #NaturalTalent. I truly find them captivating - just so naturally pursed, ready and waiting 😍😂🤣💕
Asuka is also a lovely character, however, I'm beginning to feel he's in love with a man who's A-sexual and so caught up in his own head space that he just doesn't feel or experience sexual orientation or desire, but I'm hoping he surprises me as he obviously does enjoy Asuka's personality and being around him, hence the last trip together.
2-episodes to go and I remain hopeful for our leads.
Right, I'm outta here... off to Unforgiven Night, the very best, memorable drama for pure unadulterated laughter ever! Love it too much.
Thank you! I was a bit disappointed with the preview and the images have restored my faith!
My absolute pleasure. Restored my faith too. Funny how our main leads have no preview - just weird, but not surprising. Perhaps because the script that contains them has been oh so completely overshadowed by our seconds! Respect to them as the leads story narrative I personally find dreadful.
OMG! bl_kimchi has posted on Instagram, a story clip for EP 10 showing a preview of Rain and Phayu having sex in the shower and on the beach. Whoop! Whoop!
O.K. so this episode seemed shorter than the others. Maybe it had less runtime. Or maybe it was that even less…
Love this part: "Sun has a very rare disorder where he can play volleyball in the hot sun all afternoon but packing clothing and walking around in the cool evening is too much for him." Every time he touched the ball I was literally waiting for him to grab his chest and face palm. However, he did go down so spectacularly in the woods, literally like a sack of potatoes that I just couldn't stop laughing. That must have hurt, more than that damn chest pain!
I find it strange how Khim and Sun have very little screen time together and when they do, their narrative continues to be very little. Literally, count how many times they've said thank you to one another throughout the drama! The only time they've had a wider conversation is when they had dinner together in Ep 8.
I actually laughed out loud when Sun went down like a sack of potatoes - that must have hurt! So bloody funny. That's the best he's acted throughout this drama. However, we're now 9 episodes in and I think it is fair to say enough already with the passing out and heart pains. How utterly stupid and patronising to us as viewers to have us watch someone with a heart condition, never take a pill or visit a doctor?! After all, don't Asian dramas adore a regular trip to the hospital and this isn't the usual cold we're talking about or a grazed knee!!
Phayu my man, you continue to head to the shower to 'whack' one out. Good luck with that one. The day you stop believing you're subservient to Rain, the sooner you can get your itchy hands all over his delicious body.
