I would add "waiting for the sun to be up to see the sunrise" and "binge drinking at 8am before breakfast" 👍🏻
Excellent. I forgot about the red wine for breakfast. I’d also add multi-million pound mafia boss swigging from the bottle. You’d never see Kinn doing that!
I just can't stop laughing. I honestly can't. I have actual tears of WTAF running down my face. Damn, thank you so much Unforgotten Night. Believe me, I'll never forget you in a hurry. Utter, bloody genius. Who makes this shit up? Damn, but how I love thee. You complete my Wednesday evenings. 😍🤣
My highlights...because this is definitely an episode for highlights:
1, Constantly calling your boyfriend Mr Kamol, irrespective of the fact you fuck him, live with him and allegedly are in love. 2. Count how many times Kamol thanked Kim in one episode - I counted three in the first 7-minutes. 3. Ask yourself, why is Kim beyond obsessed about looking after and spending time with the Baboon, when he's in the habit of falling over and 'grazing' the same knee? Yes, I've decided to re-name him Baboon in homage to Whipped Cream and Salmon. 4. The naughty Baboon taking every opportunity in every episode to touch Khom's body. 5. Khom finally showing signs of jealousy towards said Baboon. 6. Khom naked, but Baboon was busy doing a product placement. 7. Constantly calling your 'team' 'subordinates'. WTAF #ShakesHead 8. Bodyguards threesome, hotter than the main leads sex exploits and indeed kissing. 9. Boyfriend admitting he likes it rough - shame we haven't seen it! #JustSayin' 10. Kamol and Kim getting it on in the shower, kissing like pre-teens on their first sexual adventure. Washing machine kissing springs to mind. 11. Chains that never get rusty, considering how much water they're privy to. 12. Pills continue to be popped, but thankfully no sachets in this episode. 13. Kamol's fury when he eventually finds out Kim and Day had a 'thing'. 14. I think it's safe to say our boys missed the sunrise. Director and crew take note of what a sunrise actually looks like! 15. Kamol: "I don't care about how you feel about me, I just want to know you'll move in" 🤣I'd have loved Kim's response to be, "I hate your guts babes, but I'll move in." 16.. Finding your ex fuck buddy in your bed - those bodyguards hey! Perhaps having another threesome!
I couldn't understand Asuka he was into such a dud until this episode. Hiiragi totally and very thoughtlessly…
I don't think he's too much of a dud, I think he lacks, which I find beyond belief, any kind of emotional intelligence for a man of his age, which for me is where this drama fails on all levels. All the supposedly 'male' adults act more like high school children than the high school kids themselves. It's just ridiculous.
PS: I found the Sagrada Familia indeed very beautiful, but the 4-hour wait and climb was indeed challenging to say the least.
there is no way we just waited a week just to have absolutely no plot development…. i refuse to believe it…
Believe it. That bloody happened and some of us, (me included), are so rightfully pissed off! What the fuck is actually going on? A beautiful drama started and is now imploding into what I'm now stereotyping as 'typical Japanese BLs'. How sad, how sad indeed, as they tell a story like no other country.
at this point, the constant dragging and slow burn is ruining this series.. I see why korean shows do 8 episodes…
So hear you. However, the Japanese, who I originally adored for their unique and beautiful way of storytelling, I feel are just seriously not present or indeed understanding or respectful of the BL genre.
This cat and mouse game was cute at first, but after 9 episodes it's boring. Can something new happen already?…
I know right. So hear you. It's just become utterly stupid, childish and monotonous. How bloody long can they string this shit out? It's such a shame, because the opening episodes I really adored. However, I'd have already dropped this drama if it wasn't for Shin. His acting, the script around him are beautiful portrayals of a selfless, confident man in love. Enough. It's all growing beyond stupid for a 27-year old man.
What a disappointment. An episode for (almost) nothing. As I was thinking last week, half of the episode is focus…
So hear you. Totally with you on your thought process. Have just posted similar thoughts and nice to scroll down to see the likeminded view of a similar commentator. 👍🏽😩
What an absolute waste of an episode. What even was that? Move on already. Did we really need another damn episode of Minato not speaking with Takayuki, and actually, I'm beginning not to care at this point. Does he want to explain why he kissed him? Does he want to apologise for the kiss? Does he want to confess his feelings? Does he want to hear his feelings? What is he looking to move on from and get closure from - a bloody not even 1-second kiss after so many years? Really? It's clear to me both men don't have 'relationship' feelings for one another. From what I'm seeing, Takayuki, has expressed zero interest in Minato as a potential boyfriend. But of course, this is a Japanese drama, so here we are going around and around and around in circles, week after week.
The only watchable, beautiful parts were when showing the narrative of the totally selfless and understanding Shin and all for his true love. Really lovely and so mature.
I'm becoming so damn frustrated with this drama. Why is Minato always behaving like a stupid, childish rabbit caught in the headlights - jumping at every turn? I find it so annoying to view a 27-year old man behaving in this way. But hey, isn't this the way Japanese dramas are heading and how they choose to portray ADULT, GAY men? I'm seriously beyond bored with writers and directors doing this to gay men. Like I've said before, it's as if they want to cash in on the BL genre, but actually don't believe in homosexuality and that they should enjoy happiness without the mammoth amounts of overdone, childish behaviours and internal conflicts. WTAF! Is this the only way they can accept homosexuality? Why do they continue to portray it subconsciously, but oh so obviously to us viewers, as a love to be ashamed about and drive angst, heartbreak and very little happiness (until mostly in the final episode to appease viewers) Yes, I'm pissed off, because this started out as awesome and has turned into a cliché Japanese shit show. Again, enough already.
Also, how can the writer, write the script for an 18-year old man and make him more mature, worldly, articulate and confident in his skin than a 27-year old who has lived and worked in Tokyo? It just doesn't make sense to my brain! Don't even get me started on the other two adult males - Hiiragi lives inside his head and the world of the stunning La Sagrada Familia in Barcelona (yes, I queued for 4-hours to see it - stunning, but it doesn't make him sexy!). And, Takayuki is just portrayed as a NICE, scatty, unappealing grandpa (Again, not in the least bit sexy!).
Oh well, I remain here for Shin, because I adore his character and am routing for his quest to get his true love, but damn, its becoming an arduous and frustrating journey and the re-watch value is moving to zero, unless it takes a dramatic turn of events.
Oh my goodness! Will this drama ever, ever move forward? It’s the same repetitive script over and over again between Rain and Phayu, they must have found it all kinds of boring repeating the same lines to each other week after week and the father also to Kim. Well, at least we got that damn performance out of the way!

5. Khom finally showing signs of jealousy towards said Baboon.

Love it too much 😍💕
