O.K. so this episode seemed shorter than the others. Maybe it had less runtime. Or maybe it was that even less…
Love this part: "Sun has a very rare disorder where he can play volleyball in the hot sun all afternoon but packing clothing and walking around in the cool evening is too much for him." Every time he touched the ball I was literally waiting for him to grab his chest and face palm. However, he did go down so spectacularly in the woods, literally like a sack of potatoes that I just couldn't stop laughing. That must have hurt, more than that damn chest pain!
I find it strange how Khim and Sun have very little screen time together and when they do, their narrative continues to be very little. Literally, count how many times they've said thank you to one another throughout the drama! The only time they've had a wider conversation is when they had dinner together in Ep 8.
I actually laughed out loud when Sun went down like a sack of potatoes - that must have hurt! So bloody funny. That's the best he's acted throughout this drama. However, we're now 9 episodes in and I think it is fair to say enough already with the passing out and heart pains. How utterly stupid and patronising to us as viewers to have us watch someone with a heart condition, never take a pill or visit a doctor?! After all, don't Asian dramas adore a regular trip to the hospital and this isn't the usual cold we're talking about or a grazed knee!!
Phayu my man, you continue to head to the shower to 'whack' one out. Good luck with that one. The day you stop believing you're subservient to Rain, the sooner you can get your itchy hands all over his delicious body.
I think you're supposed to cringe when he calls her honey. That is all sorts of wrong. But all sorts of interesting…
As usual, really interesting points. Sasi being a creative and a creative in the drama sphere, I think she purposefully wants to come across as the cool, modern, open, best mates kind of parent , as opposed, as you rightly point out to the former of following a strictly defined hierarchical culture and way of bringing up her son. I actually do find it refreshing to see, and especially as it is not the norm for a Thai drama. I also like the banter between them and the way Wang really seems to understand his mother's personality.
I'm from a Western culture, so this kind of relationship between a child and their parent is quite usual for me to witness. However, I can see as more episodes come to light that this may prove problematic for them both, as the argument showed, they don't actually have any boundaries as such between them to define the mother, son relationship.
I've adored the three episodes of this series, minus mum. I find her too intrusive. Too in your face. Too vocal. Too present. Too much screen time. I don't think I've ever heard a child call their mum 'honey' - made me cringe. Just felt all sorts of wrong. The cinematography is stunning and I find myself yearning for the times when Wang and In are finally alone together, because the narrative between them I find quite mesmerising and of course their chemistry. Wang checking out In's body in the opening scene was an utter joy😍Naughty. Naughty boy. You're so hunting your man.
For me, watching EP 12, this series was all about what could have been. It could have been wonderful, but turned into 11 episodes of a utter and complete shit show travesty. Such a shame.
Indeed we should. I really hope they come to these comments to take script ideas for their next drama. Hell, they should employ us all as writers, we'd do a damn fine job.

Off the scale chemistry for just EP2.
This drama brings me utter joy for all the wrong reasons!
