i disagree, i personally relate a lot to Earth`s character. The self-conciousness, the social anxiety, being clingy…
@CourtzPotato. Ah. I can see where you're coming from here and how my words could easily be misconstrued. Words hey!? I was trying to say that US as a viewing audience would perhaps find it difficult to watch and indeed engage and like a character who spends a great deal of time throughout an episode whining. It just doesn't in my mind, make for great viewing. I was never looking down on anyone who likes the overall character, just the characters constant whining.

@CourtzPotato Hey there. I would hope we're watching the same drama, because if not, yours and my comments would make no rational sense. I never said the characters are trying to change each other. I was trying to say that Eiw through his constant whining is trying to get Cake to change HIS habits. My natural question to you is: "Why constantly whine, if you don't want that person to change their behavioural habits you're whining about?" As a friend and soulmate, why not just accept he won't do his own homework, wake up in time and that he smokes? Why try to change these behaviours in him? The whole point of whining is to change these habits, as why would you whine?
Have to say, you trying to get your friend to drink water, all would agree is a damn good thing, so keep whining 👍🏽😄

Me and you both by way of respectful. To be honest, it forms part of my natural DNA. Also because I love human nature. I find myself liking and respecting others opinions, irrespective of whether it agrees with mine. I think its because I have a rule in life that I need to learn something new every day.

So agree with you. I'm not checking out just yet, as it's a whole, whole lot better than the travesty that is Check Out, so maybe, the writer and director can redeem themselves to change my opinion. Mind always open me. #Snigger. Thank you so much for your response x

@diva70 When did I speak ill of those who like it? I'm on an opinions forum as are you. All opinions are relative, irrespective of whether we agree or not, don't you think?

Hey you. I honestly respect your thought process and so hear you. I get it. I think the Director could have done a much better job of showcasing the beauty that is them as soulmates, which they naturally are and importantly have been since children, which for me is adorable.
I have a soulmate, and as such, I would never whine to him about his shortcomings or tell him to be a certain way, because I respect that's who he is. For me, when you love someone unconditionally you should accept them warts and all and never, ever try to change them. My soulmate knows everything about me and as the leads, and 2nd episode showed, so comfortable in each others skins. He finishes my sentences. Always there for me. Can read my mind when I'm down, although I may say all's good.
And, you're right, it does come down to personal experiences and preferences, but for me, such a beautiful friendship between the two leads should have been handled in a more respectful, thoughtful way. Because for me, it really is lovely.
Again, as I said, I'm just disappointed for Earth as I feel he has huge talent, but him in this role is just not delivering it for me.
Let's be honest, this is just meh don't you think? If I continue and I don't think I can, I'll have forgotten the plot and script within a day. Its already become background noise as I scroll Instagram. Sad but true. I'm trying to get my head around who would write a script where the lead comes across as HUGELY annoyingly whiny for 35-minutes of a 40 minute episode. I think they think it's cute, but it's so not. It's grating and annoying. What real person could engage on an emotional level with such a character, I don't think anyone and I think this is where the problem lies. What audience would actually want to watch, feel engaged and importantly entertained by this?
To be honest, to me, it's just bad writing and directing - so feel for Earth, as I know he's got the skills to deliver so much better than this drama. Shame on you Director.
I’m in the UK and can watch. Does this link work for you? https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=-_SSufCBzd4
Aw, what a bummer. Sorry. If I’m totally honest, you’re not missing much. It’s beyond a whiny fest. Dramacool and Kisskh.me will inevitably upload shortly.
Yeah, I really enjoyed this first episode. I found it amusing and a step outside the box of the usual university trope childish shit. Highly intelligent dominant male who appears to know who and what he wants, however, all say he's a lovely guy, so I'm intrigued as always with Mame where she and Director are going with the storyline. But yes, for a first episode I found it rather sexy for a university based drama and a breath of fresh air from the ridiculously childish Japanese dramas I’ve endured lately. Bring it on, you have my interest peaked as to where you'll be taking us. No doubt with Writer Mame, it will be a rollercoaster ride. I’m here for it.
I don't think she's pretty, but her acting skills were brilliant. ' main lead- I had seen him in " Tale of Nokdo…
I'm genuinely curious as to your thought process. What has whether she's pretty got anything to do with this drama in particular? Did you perhaps miss the whole point of the drama? Although, not even 0% relevant to it, I actually didn't find her pretty, but utterly beautiful and especially her eyes and smile. Did you perhaps mean to post on the 2015 drama, "She was Pretty?" #JustSayin'
Some of you guys are so easy to please, lol. This show started very promisingly but barely delivered anything…
Human nature and opinions on how we view something is truly a wonderful thing in life. don't you think? For me, I have to say I feel you and me watched a completely different drama as I think the total opposite to every single point you made other than: "Worth of praise were the actors, they did an admirable job." Life is strange that way I think. However, I respect all views.
