I love it! It took a couple tries for me to finally sit through it. Also late to watching it. I had to rewatch to fully understand it but I love it! I don’t think I have ever liked a song as much as “you are everything” from a drama. They usually grow on me but i’m just obsessed with this song. My first Xu Kai drama and he did an excellent job ion this one, the role really suited him well. His body language and expression is seriously epic, it says so much of what he’s thinking, without him ever saying much. He’s so direct and doesn’t beat around the bush like most ML in dramas, I really like it. This also caught me by surprise on episode 22, like what??? On a Cdrama!?! Haha but it’s good 🔥 This one of the rare dramas that will definitely rewath. Also forgot to mention, the FL is one of my all time favorite actress for dramas. It’s an amazing pairing, I’ve been waiting for a series that both ML & FL can act, this was it.
I wanted to know what is this fuss with the ML Xiao Zhan as he is literally everywhere with the biggest fan base I have ever heard of. I’ve been watching dramas and love Asian entertainment almost most of my life and I have yet to hear about a celebrity to his caliber of popularity. So I wanted to truly watch one of his drama to see what is it about him as from just pictures, he’s not the most gorgeous (but I change my mind now) lol This show truly have a beautiful story. I almost drop it at the beginning but thought, there’s no way such a popular actor is going to take a bad scripted show, so I kept watching (glad I did) Both ML and FL did a superb job delivering their characters. It’s not a silly rom com either, it has cliches but it’s more about life and overcoming obstacles and challenges. This will be the first drama I give 10/10 due to the last 3 episodes. It is also a show that made me laugh, cry, feel frustrated just all the emotions but not in an extreme way. I can say, I see why XZ has such a huge fan base, he’s definitely charming. This drama needs to be watched without fast forwarding It’s beautiful bittersweet drama.

Ok ya’ll… just watch this and don’t overthink it!There’s some weird plot twist but the acting is phenomenal. First time I feel like a 3rd wheeler when the leads have their intimate moments. Dang, those two up my standards for chemistry,, I don’t think I can watch another drama and say they have “good chemistry” after watching this. They are 🔥 even when he’s giving up, they have good chemistry. I can feel how much they love each other by their emotions and acting skills. It’s definitely not the norm for a Cdrama. This drama is the definition of guilty pleasures. That ML is so young IRL but he’s good some good acting skills.
Before I start this, is the FL mature? Do they have mature conversations? I’m fairly traumatized by the FL in “my boss” that I can not watch a FL like that again.
An absolute amazing drama. I just came back from a few years break of watching dramas. This is the 5th drama after my break. This is superb acting and script. Very different from typical Cdramas and Kdramas. The script is so mature and the ML is so realistic not skinny full of makeup that he looks like he’s a teenager. Not sure why everyone complained about FL as she’s probably one of the best female actress I’ve seen lately in a drama. Her reactions is so realistic with the jealousy and ugly crying (tell me which woman haven’t done that)? I would have given this 10/10 if they focus more on romance then the office work stuff. I almost dropped it 3 times as i couldn’t get through the first 5 episodes but people on Reddit said to give it until 5 episodes then drop. They were right, by the end of episode 5, I was hooked. First time not fast forwarding and was really drawn to the whole dialogue and the conversations. Very solid acting. Dang the ML (never seen him before) but he is such a good actor and is hot AF! I need to get onto another drama of his. That smile… i don’t care how boring a drama is, I’ll watch it for his smile. 😃

I’m totally waiting for his new one. I think he’s a good actor, it’s honestly a waste how he gets paired up with these FL. I’m used to bad acting from watching so many dramas but this FL blew my mind, like how on earth does she get so many lead roles? If you look at her profile, she has so many coming.

The plot is actually good, and some of their conversations towards the end are very meaningful but her acting vs what she’s trying to portray doesn’t add up.
