The acting is so on point in this one! One of my favorite.

I already drop this once as I seriously thought it’s a dumb youth romance but you convinced me, I’m going to sit through it as I love plot twists lol

I agree, I think most people see a bit of conflict, they either drop or fast forward most of it if it’s not full on fluff.
ML is possessive immature at first but he grew and became a green flag. He didn’t keep chasing her, he followed her lead and she made all the advances the second time around. He accepted her fear of marriage and just wanted to be part of her life. So I’m so confused by what some of the negative reviews are saying. Lol

I agree, I also love that ML didn’t push her and aggressively tried to persue her again. He accepted her issues and just wanted to be part of her life, even if it means never getting married to her. He’s turned into such a green flag. ML character is my top 5 most likable in a drama. He’s not over the top, so calm and yes, they worked and talk through their misunderstandings in a realistic way. I’m glad i didn’t drop it too as I did find some parts boring.

If you watch till the end, he’s actually not immature and grew a lot from their breakup. I’ve seen many dramas and normally would not watch youth dramas but I adore the ML’s character. He’s so green flag and willing to accept her for who she is and let her be instead of pushing her (is why they broke up) the role reversed and she initiated all advances, he just followed her lead and comfort level.

I agree! From all the dramas I’ve seen (which is a lot) the ML in this drama is very lovable. I adore his character and his development after they meet again. It really portrays the meaning of true love and because he loved her, he let her be and didn’t push her, like all other dramas with this trope. I love how she initiated all advances in the later bit of the drama. This ML needs to be in more dramas, he’s nice to look at, something about him. Lol

Yes, this! I almost drop it myself but decided to continue and it was a pleasant watch. After episode 5 it does get better.

I like it! ML is such eye candy, I thought this is the first time I seen him but realized he’s in The Oath of Love, I thought he was good looking there as well and at one point thought the FL should go for him instead lol.
I mean, some parts of this drama is a bit draggy, I had to do some fast forwarding but I really like the MC. ML is so green flag, he totally grew from how he used to be and became the perfect boyfriend.

Same, I could have said that myself. I don’t mind long but when they add in all these useless subplots that has misunderstanding after misunderstanding and then it ends with them being happy for 5 mins. It’s annoying haha
I don’t mind a misunderstanding and their bond builds stronger from it but it’s like non stop stupid ones like the SML giving back her phone somehow becomes a misunderstanding lol like what?!! You are suppose to be a mature professor haha

Ya this one got on my nerves with the misunderstanding as it keeps dragging. I’m pretty patient and have seen many Cdramas but they one kinda annoyed me.

This drama is ok, it’s a bit overrated. I dislike the MC, they are both a bit annoying to watch. Too many little misunderstandings that it became draggy. Not sure why they brought in Chuchu near the end as she didn’t make any sense. I just don’t believe someone who suppose to be an elite and strong character is so pine over a guy she never even dated. Like practically bagging him. She did nothing for the show. I really like both leads as actors is why I even finished this. Their characters are so poorly written in this drama.

I agree, I really like Miles but i don’t like his character here. It’s still ok watch but I like I May love you better.

Very well said! I agree, this more of slice of life. Their relationship definitely is a healthy one and in real life, that’s the type of partner you want. Someone who will be there for you through good and bad times. Actually their 1 kiss scene is a REAL kiss scene haha they went at it for a long time and actually kissing not just touching lips. That’s enoug for me to get the point of their physical intimacy haha
I don’t know about reviews anymore, the shows that everyone raves about are so ridiculous to me, yes there a lot of touching lips etc, Prince Charming like ML but the plot is really about nothing interesting other then lots of kissing (touching lips) scenes.
This drama actually has a very good plot. The mother is just like any typical Asian mother to the extreme but if they actually watch the show, she’s actually very kind hearted and she DOES have character development. Her interactions with the ML is epic, he just knows how to handle her so well as that’s what he never had. I like it’s a really well acted by the entire cast, even side characters.

Really wanted to like it but just can’t get into it. The plot is a bit too silly for me. I like rom coms but this is over the top. Sadly dropped it.
