I tried and sadly, she’s exactly the same, that’s why I was certain it’s not all in the writing, it’s her. She acted the exact same way that I thought I was watching the same drama. Not sure why she always gets casted with the best male actors. I wonder if it’s because they can supplement her acting?

I’m loving Xu Kai here so far, somehow it skipped and he got engaged with someone else? Is that going to drag on or it’s short lived?

I’m here for Xu Kai, every single drama he’s in, I love. His acting skills is superb, I really hope to enjoy this as I just started.

I agree, I actually find it’s one of the most realistic heathy relationship I’ve seen in the hundreds of dramas I’ve seen. It actually did a good job showing the meaning of love and relationship. Like that scene where she sat outside of the hotel room all night just so she doesn’t leave his side but is still there with him. It’s definitely heartwarming. I don’t think they need to kiss every 5 minutes for it to be romantic.

I didn’t think I would like this drama from the reviews but I love it!!! It’s so different from typical modern drama but it’s so well acted by the entire cast. I actually enjoyed watching the mother interaction with ML, it’s so epic!
I agree, I think this might be Ku Kai best work although I only seen him in one other drama and thought he was good good but this one, he rock it!

This is a melodrama drama and not an idol drama even though they have the the 2 best looking leads.
The mother is overbearing yes, I had to fast forward a bit the first half of the drama but she DOES have character growth. I in fact really enjoyed her performance in the second half, her interactions with ML (Ku Kai) is epic! Amazing performances by the both of them.
The entire cast did a phenomenal job delivering their character. Beautiful backdrop!
Although it’s not a romantic drama but the love between the the 2 leads is so realistic. They have very very good chemistry even before getting together. It’s such a healthy relationship and it really showed the meaning of love and being in a relationship is all about. The director managed to pull that off without having them kiss every scene or all over each other but rather through dialogue and their acting. It’s so heartwarming their scenes together.
Last the FL is my favorite actress and I’m so impress with her wardrobe, for once they dress the FL so nice.
Xu Kai is just amazing as always but I really like his edginess here.
I agree with others, if they added a proposal or a wedding, this would have been a solid 10!

I felt exactly the same as you! Like why on earth did you transfer to that other lawyer when you know she hates… you! Going to court in jeans?
I honestly just kept thinking she is just using ML for status as she showed no interest and just how condescending she was towards him. I watch the last 6 episodes 3 times to make sure I’m not missing the point. That part where he said he didn’t like ginger and she had this snotty look and said, are you sure, I made it. Like WTF woman. She’s in a new drama that is a sequel to Hidden Love, I’m livid after I found out she’s FL as she’s just gonna ruin the show.

I would have never seen him if he wasn’t in ABAY, I find that role suited him so well that i can’t even imagine someone else playing it. Hes definitely on my top 5 list, such a good actor in my opinion. He made that drama better than it really is, due to his acting abilities, the body language and his look, it takes talent to be able to deliver those lines without saying much. I think maybe that’s why he’s been doing more serious roles? He’s very good at it. 😊

How’s the pace? Is it like Admist a Snowstorm of love minus the love part? I don’t mind no romance, just needs a faster pace, where there’s more to it than just the romance. ASOL was just not my cup of tea as the pace is so slow,

One question, I keep reading reviews that no annoying family members but it seems her mom is not very accepting of him and she doesn’t like him? Is that just a small part of the show?

Does this show only have high ratings because of the gorgeous cast?
I’m only on episode 6, i admit the ML’s acting is superb, it takes some good acting skills to play his role as there are very little talking but all in expressions and body language, which i appreciate and is how I judge one’s acting abilities.
At the same time, the pace of this drama, it’s really not getting anywhere, does it get better or is there anything exciting going to happen or at this study pace throughout?
I remember reading a comment, “6 episode later, they are still just staring at each other” it’s starting to feel like that comment is holding true to what I’m seeing, I’m trying to really get into as I drop it the first time. I guess I just need to if there will be more to this or it’s just going to be like this throughout?

Does ANYONE like this drama? I really like the leads so I was planning to stick it through and just fast forward the mom part but is it really that boring? I also know it’s not a romance series but just marketed as one. It won a lot of awards but every reviews are negative and I’m not understanding why? Lol

She’s in Go Go Squid, that’s why she’s so famous. Compared to some of the other FL I ‘be seen, she’s a pretty decent actress. I quite like her.
