I keep getting recommended to watch this and just by the photos of the ML I knew i wouldn’t be able to watch it due to the hair. I love Xu Xai and I can’t sit through She and her perfect husband due to his haircut, I just couldn’t focus on the drama lol 😂

I’m late in this and here looking for the exact comment. Aren’t doctors trained to be emotionally stable and remain calm? She’s has emotional EQ of a child! It’s scary to see a doctor act the way she does, daydreaming on the job? WTF.
I do know a lot of doctors that’s why it’s cringey seeing this even though it’s just a TV show but they should portray firefighters and doctors more seriously instead making a mockery of the profession.

The FL mourning the professor went on for 5 episodes. I mean I get it, he’s close to her they can just briefly show here and there that she’s sad but it went on 5 episodes of her practically dying in pain. Like that’s so over the top.

I’m late in this but Dream Garden picked up quite well and is actually a pretty good drama.
This one on the other hand, didn’t have any hope. It just got worse and worse without any character development. It’s suppose to be firefighter Doctor, 2 very serious careers but they are not serious about their jobs at all. Just lots of non sense. Apparently lots of scenes got cut.

It was decent at the beginning but then it switched from firefighter to full blown romance.
I agree it’s bad but not that bad. It’s still a hot mess to me though. I’ve seen thousands of dramas lol
I think it’s in the casting of the FL as well. She’s not suited for GJ, the male just can not be more beautiful than female. I mean they could have picked someone at least cute. She was very hard to watch.

I totally tried because of GJ but his character was so poorly written. Yes the FL had no chemistry with him and their whole romance was just poorly written. The whole show is just a hot mess, the plot is all over the place. I’m so sad as I really GJ. FL acting is so bad, GJ couldn’t save it.

Ok, so the first 2 episodes it started off strong. I came to watch GJ but his character is so poorly written after like 3 episodes in that one of my favorite actor actually made me cringe. The acting of the FL is next level childish to be a doctor. Everyone knows doctors are trained to be emotionally stable and remains calm but she’s just all over the place with her emotions and doesn’t seem to take her job seriously. ML started off being all heroic very serious about his job then all a sudden it’s just background. He didn’t care to save anyone but the FL.
The reviews are correct, this is a hot mess. Even GJ can not save it. I honestly still don’t know where this is going. Also the romance which they seem to emphasize on more than firefighting, how and when did he even get to know her to fall in love love with her? Everything just seems to come from thin air. 😂

I really like this drama, it’s so underrated.
I mean it’s a thriller not so much romance but the leads are so cute together. I really like their chemistry. Not sure why i never heard of it until now.

Is this like another ASOL? I was about to watch but if the pace is the same i’ll just skip lol

I went into this with low expectations as I drop it once a few years an ago but decided to retry.
It’s a good watch, I enjoyed it but you have to watch this ignoring all the flaws.
Communications between the leads are lack luster. Time travel is way too long with not much change.
Good cast and acting especially the 2 leads. I think they pulled off what they could and did a good job.

Don’t get me started with Victoria Song lol she seriously ruins it no matter who she’s paired up with.

Yes, really mind blowing how she gets all these leads role. She in Tge first frost, which is a sequel to Hidden Love but more emotional character. How on earth did she get the role? She’s going to have that stupid look all the way as I saw clips haha so disappointed as I was looking forward to The First Frost.

I was thinking the same, she must be related to a director or dating one. Honestly cdramas, they are so picky and I see some of the A listers work so hard doing scences over and over again but this lady, gets away with not even acting.
She just needs to be bitchy, boss ML around, acts like she hate him, talks in that annoying voice and that stupid stare with her eyes wide open that makes her look ridiculous. I’m seriously at lost why she’s getting away with it.

Omg, she was annoying AF everytime he proposed and went on for 5 years! Not his fault at all. She wore jeans to court let alone her wedding. It seems she was really bossy and bitchy near tge end, she did whatever she wanted and ML just lets her.

Yes, I will update you! Military isn’t my usual cup of tea but i can’t stop watching because i really like xu Kai’s character. It’s so entertaining to watch even though i have no idea what’s going on with the whole military thing.
I’m assuming the engagement is not by choice?
